Nice suburban area, right next to public transport to commute to NYC. Nice little coffee shop across the street. The studio apartment was nice, clean, nice deck & view. Very happy with the stay, great communication. Thanks very much.
Perfect stay in New Jersey with easy travel to NYC. Lovely view at night! Steep stairway to the bungalow but we had no problem. Comfortable bed and very nice to have coffee provided.
Our stay was exactly what we needed. Host was incredible and friendly. The only negative I have is that people over 5â6, BEWARE! The ceilings are LOW! Once we got used to the low clearance we loved it. The private deck in the backyard is beautiful and quiet, as is the whole neighborhood. Weâre JC born and raised and weâre highly impressed with the location and relation to everything around it!
The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The heater did not work, so we used an electrical one that was not very good. But everything else was good. That's a good option to stay.
The property is no-frills, small with a peaked attic ceiling. Except for the center of the main room, it is easy to hit your head. It is clean and simple with little attention to attractive design elements like art on the walls or kitchen extras. The outside sitting area is nice. There is air conditioning, which was a life-saver, especially in an attic space. The steep and narrow entry area can be challenging to navigate, especially with luggage. The owner, Gerardo could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We arrived in the morning and he allowed us to check in early. We left late in the afternoon and he allowed us to stow our luggage until we went the airport. We were seeking place where we could sleep and shower between trips to NYC. It served that purpose.
Great location. 2 minute walk to light rail and easy access to Path train into NY. It is a third floor unit, anyone with large luggage should note they must carry it up. (We had small carry on!).
Overall, we had a great stay. The loft apartment had everything we needed. It was clean and we felt safe.
We enjoyed the neighborhood. There is a convenient market super close by for some groceries. We also enjoyed The Grind coffee shop, Morties sandwich shop and Pinwheel restaurant all within a short walk.
The host responded super quick to my questions before the trip.
Be prepared for very steep steps up into the loft and low ceilings. We found them quirkyâŠgiving the loft character, but a tall person might not be all that comfortable.
Overall, it was a great trip.
This was a value for money location, which matched the description and our expectations. We found it a good and peaceful base for our visit to New York City attractions. The tram nearby was excellent and easy to navigate to NYC. We most enjoyed the view from the little back porch. I would recommend for couples and perhaps smaller children who can manage the stairs. Our host was always responsive and helpful.
