Il s’agit de l’ajout le plus récent à nos appartements Short Stay Beach sur la magnifique esplanade de Glenelg North. Si vous souhaitez jeter un coup d'œil à notre style et à notre qualité, veuillez rechercher parmi nos autres propriétés sur ce site - "LA MER À VOS CÔTÉS" et "LA MER À VOTRE PORTE". Les 3 propriétés se trouvent au même endroit et offrent des avantages et des attributs similaires.

Cette propriété vous fera littéralement dormir au bord de la mer. Il se compose d'un ensemble de 2 chambres à coucher, avec la deuxième chambre située dans un niveau de style cottage à l'étage supérieur confortable, avec une fenêtre qui vous donne une vue magnifique sur la mer. Vous ne serez pas à l'étroit pendant ces vacances: un lit KING SIZED dans la chambre principale au rez-de-chaussée et un lit Queen SIZED à l'étage supérieur, avec sa propre salle de bains privative.

Ne soyez pas surpris si vous apercevez un dauphin à quelques mètres de votre logement de vacances. Votre vue parfaite sur le coucher de soleil sera tout simplement magnifique à tout moment de l’année.

Votre séjour ici peut vous offrir le plaisir inestimable du son constant de la mer et de l'air frais, tout en vous assurant d'être facilement accessible de tout ce que la ville d'Adélaïde a à offrir. La ville, le théâtre de festival, le casino et le centre de convention sont tous à 15 minutes en voiture ou à 30 minutes de trajet avec le tramway Glenelg.

Le chalet se trouve à 5 minutes à pied de la marina sophistiquée de Holdfast Shores et de ses restaurants primés. Si vous êtes chanceux, vous pourrez rencontrer le célèbre chef Adam Swanson tout en profitant d’une expérience culinaire grecque de classe mondiale au restaurant Zucca. Encore 2 minutes à pied et vous êtes sur l'historique Jetty Road, où les possibilités de restauration, de shopping et de divertissement sont infinies. Il suffit de faire une recherche sur “Glenelg Beach” pour voir tout ce que cette destination a à offrir, y compris une myriade d’activités sportives et de plage. Votre séjour ne nécessitera peut-être pas un seul voyage en voiture, car des attractions locales telles que la «Temptation» nagent avec les dauphins, le parc d'attractions BeachHouse et le tout nouveau $ 1. 3m de terrain de jeux sont tous accessibles à pied.

Le chalet vient d'être équipé (en avril 2017) d'un mobilier et d'une literie flambants neufs. Il combine une sensation de propreté, de netteté et de modernité avec le confort d'un vieux cottage. Le lieu a été aménagé pour que vous puissiez passer un séjour confortable à court ou à long terme. Il propose une cuisine entièrement équipée, votre propre laverie, une télévision et des films sur DVD, du linge de maison et des serviettes de toilette - préparez simplement votre brosse à dents et vos baigneurs.

La cuisine sera facilement adaptée à ceux qui veulent des repas cuisinés à la maison abordables; c'est-à-dire s'ils peuvent résister à la tentation de simplement entrer dans l'un des cafés ou restaurants au bout de la rue.

Il y a beaucoup d'espace; une pièce désignée uniquement pour le coin repas, une cuisine séparée et un salon séparé. Vous allez pleinement profiter de vos nuits.

Dès que vous arrivez là-bas, prenez un café sur nous - glissez simplement une capsule de café dans la machine.

Amazing Adelaide

Beautiful beaches for miles just steps from the front door. Saw dolphins surfing in the mornings Great farmers market made for great home cooking, when we weren’t dining in Henley or Glenelg.

Excellent property near the beach

The minute you enter this premises you will feel at home. whether it's the cleanliness or the little extras provided by the host, you feel welcomed. Very comfortable home with everything you need. Pop over the road for a swim at the beach, go for a stroll along the beachfront or take a walk to Glenelg township or jetty for lunch, you really are central to everything. Very enjoyable time spent here.

Fun stay in a lovely little home

My husband, daughter and I enjoyed our stay in Sofie's townhouse. It is cute and well appointed. We had everything we needed and it was terrific to be able to walk out the door and across the road for an early morning swim each day.

The host was extremely accommodating when the flight arrived early. It was perfect for us as we could walk to our sports venue or get a bus easily Didn’t have time to explore Adelaide but the area had all we needed

Great escape to Adelaide

We all immediatley felt welcomed and at home in this property with a lovely hand written note from the owner together with some complimentary snacks and drinks. It is cosy, comfortable and accessible to all Adelaide has to offer. The decor is charming and all the little home comforts really added to a lovely stay. Highly recommended.

A magical stay

Our stay couldn't have been better. Property exactly as described if not better. Clean, comfortable and functional. Superb location. Quiet. Airport is 10 min drive away so yes, big planes fly rather close. It didn’t bother us at all. Host was fantastic; super responsive, helpful and patient to our questions. Cannot wait to come back.

Esplanade Delight

Had a wonderful stay, weather was outstanding, location is amazing. Is a leisurely 14 minute walk along the beautiful Esplanade into the heart of Glenelg. Sofie is a great host, provided me with all the details needed to check in easily. Unit is spacious and well appointed, i enjoyed the additional touches that Sofie has provided, essential oils, bottle of wine and snacks. The upstairs bedroom having an ensuite was perfect. And the downstairs bathroom/laundry is very retro. The kitchen is well appointed with essential items, and full size fridge. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and would definitely return.

Too many bits and pieces and dust mites dream

Place was ok, but, out dated old and quirky, and way too many bits and pieces - there is nowhere to put your own stuff and to prepare food because there are way too may added extras for the guest - it’s seemed cluttered and unnecessary- nice and thoughtful but unnecessary - black horrible light shade needs cleaning upstairs and the nude painting is off putting when you wake - not tasteful at all - on the wall in the kitchen are hotel style breakfast cereals that I wonder if these are a health hazard? You have no idea who was there prior and what they may have put into those- it was hard to prepare your own food because the benches are cluttered with all these free (nice but not necessary) samples and then when you try to put these else where there is no room apart from a chair. Upstairs room has no door and no door on the bathroom either - dusty clutter on the walls and not so nice paintings - the lounge is covered with a lounge cover that you slide off after a while on the lounge then try to sit on lounge without cover to find cheap horrible fake leather torn seats so understand why cover is on it. Bed was comfortable though, again way too many aroma sprays and mists and guest gifts, I had nowhere to put my own bibs and bobs and way too many cushions - it’s a dust mites dream! The worst thing was being woken each day by jets flying over your head at 6:00am EVERY DAY. I smacked my head on the ceiling near the window because there was no warning that it was really low.

It saddens us that you didn’t appear to enjoy your stay. I’m not sure there is much that could have been realistically done to have made you happier, as it would remove the many aspects of our property that most of our guests love. It is disappointing that your 3 star review counts towards our ranking , when we struggle to see how much of it , if at all, is helpful. We work hard on our property. We are all for constructive feedback, so much so that we feel that after 7 years, the property on offer now is a culmination of all the constructive feedback we have received from all our wonderful guests over the years. Feedback that we have actioned. We can’t think what we could action from your feedback that would be of any benefit to our property or guests. Your review is just a sad reflection of the fact that you really can’t please everyone. It’s difficult to understand why you made most of the comments in your review. Yes, we leave you with amenities on your towel. 99 per cent of our guests love this. If you didn’t, you could have just popped them in the empty bedside drawers. Or just bin them. We leave coffee pods, teas , coffees, snacks , muesli etc in the kitchen. Again, 99 per cent of our guests love this. If you didn’t, just pop them in the kitchen cupboards – those cupboards have plenty of room for extras. Or again, just bin them. “Way too many aroma sprays”. Really?? If the beautiful L’Occitane Sleep Spray is not to your liking, again , just don’t use it. It was a little idea we picked up in our own travels that we just adored, so we decided to implement it for our own guests. If you don’t want to use the aromatherapy diffusers, that’s fine, but should we really remove those when so many people love to use them? How is that constructive? The sofa lounge is not leather, but far from cheap, and has had some stitching come loose. It’s an expensive sofa because it converts to a proper double bed , so we do not want to dispose of it because of some loose stitching. We place the cover to prevent further damage. We offer affordable beachfront property that we maintain and care for as reasonably as possible. Fake leather – yes, it is not leather. We don’t understand your need to say “fake” . We are sorry you hit your head. Our listing describes the upstairs area clearly : “Guests should be aware that the upper level is a cottage style addition, where the ceiling height is low. Tall people will need to crouch slightly when walking around the bed.” We apologise for having many cushions. Yes, we have hotel style dispenser cereals on offer, that we fill according to the number of people staying etc, as well as packeted cereal if you prefer. You don’t have to have either. Your description of our paintings from local artists as “dusty clutter on walls” …. We take great pride in our cleanliness. As for your view of the paintings, it is your view. Again, difficult to see how this might assist future guests. Yes, Glenelg North beach in Adelaide is near the airport. We trust that future guests reading your review, see it for what it is.

Our unit was perfect for 2 girl friends in Adelaide for Gather Round. We loved all the extra items that was made available to us. We both thought that the entrance into the unit was given a paint and perhaps a plant put in the entrance. It just looked abit shabby. Otherwise the place was perfect.

Quaint, unique property.

The upstairs bedroom made it perfect for our stay (2 single people). The beach is so very close and many restaurants in walking distance or a short drive away. Whilst there are some areas that could be improved I think this place is value for money and it would not stop me from staying there again.

Girls weekend away

My friends and I stayed here for 3 nights. Lovely place - al the extra touches were great. Only down side which didn’t wreck the stay was the planes coming in to land that are right over the top of the house. Apart from that it was perfect. Thanks for having us!

Older style property, with good modern facilities. Very clean and spacious. Stairs are steep.Upstairs area quiet and private which suited younger adult travelling with us. Beautiful location close to beach and Glenelg. Sofie very warm and welcoming.

Charming and cosy

We loved our stay here! Wonderful location right across from the beach and a short walk to shops and restaurants. Sofie was a thoughtful and wonderful host who provider everything we might need from a bag for the supermarket to a bucket and spade for the kids to use at the beach. The property was so cosy and decorated beautifully. Easy parking and a short drive to many of Adelaide’s attractions. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Fantastic location, one house back from the beach

We had a great stay in this little older-style property. It is located one house/apartment back from the beach. Although no beach view when inside the property, once you step out the door you can see the beach and it is only a few steps away. It is perfectly located for beach walks, and is also only a short (10 minute) walk to the centre of Glenelg. The accommodation suited our family of five, with two kids sleeping upstairs in the loft bedroom, and the parents and another kid sleeping downstairs and on the fold-out couch. The one negative we found was that the property is under a flight path, so those sensitive to noise may find it difficult to sleep. I recommend this place and it is excellent value for money.
