Hi,This location is nice and quiet and we enjoyed walking around the streets with our pup. And importantly, it isn't too far from the main street with its cafes and restaurants.
Compact but very pleasant space, all you need for a short stay.Comfortable bed, lovely bathroom with good shower. Very friendly helpful host.Good location in quiet leafy street.
Loved our stay in Albury! Dave is a super host and we are so glad we stayed here on our recent trip. The unit has everything you need and is a short walk into town. Plenty to see and do in and around Albury - weâll be back!
It was a great stay. A very warm and modern place and an easy stop when travelling from Melbourne to Sydney. David has put a lot of thought into the place and was very communicative.
Basic, but clean and really well presented, if i need to go to Albury again, i will definitely stay here again. Host was really helpful with tips on what to do and where to go.
The property is immaculate and well appointed. As it is studio style with a kitchenette it is ideal for a short stay. On road parking only but having the use of a small secure garden was a plus.
This was a great place for us to stay on a trip to Melbourne. The apartment is comfortable even for being small. Dave was great to deal with and location handy to a nice Italian restaurant for dinner.
I never got to stay here. I arrived in Albury in the evening very tired after a 5 hour drive to find there was someone already staying in the apartment and that it had been double booked. Neither the host or Stayz had contacted me beforehand to advise of a cancellation. An extremely unpleasant holiday booking experience!!Although Stayz have arranged a refund for me, it leaves me wary of making online bookings in the future.
Fran and David are both working but aim to provide all the help and assistance they can. Your private entry allows you to come and go as you please but we both aim to catch up and chat if possible.
We spent all of 2018 renovating our lovely 1950's house and tried to retain its original character in the new build. While landscaping works still continue, the area is a secure urban property and only a ten minute walk into town. We chose East Albury for its unique character, flat land and closeness to town.
You will find walking into town quite pleasant as you can enjoy a few drinks while dining in one of the many cafe, restaurants or hotels in the main street.
Beautiful bike tracks extend in all directions - Wonga Wetlands, Thurgoona and Wodonga.
Visiting wineries is our personal favourite! Easy driving distance to Beechworth, Rutherglen and the King Valley.
Many guests use our bnb as a stopover for a quick ski on Mount Hotham/Dinner Plain or Falls Creek.
Albury is one of the older towns in NSW and boast some exquisite older building of exceptional architectural beauty. The train station is just one of them!
The MAMA gallery is a must plus the Library/Museum - both always have exhibits worth seeing.
