Gorgeous heritage property with beautiful hosts
Such a gorgeous heritage property with a beautIful homely feel. Hosts, Suzie and Tim Gratton are just beautiful and truly know and understand what it means to have guests staying at their property.
This was our 2nd visit to Peppercorn Cottage with our fur babies and we absolutely loved it.
Would highly recommend. Both property and hosts are gorgeous.
Gorgeous property well thought lovely owners
We arrived at Peppeercorn Cortage around 9:45pm after driving up from Melbourne with our 2 dogs. We were greeted with a smile from Tim who happily showed us around and let our dogs run around the backyard.
Tim and Suzie are both so wonderful, friendly, courteous, professional and helpful. They truly understand and take the time to make their visitors welcome.
When we left the next morning, Suzie ever so kindly offered us a ‘coffee for the road,’ before we headed on our next journey to Brisbane.
Highly recommend this gorgeous property with gorgeous people who really care.
Thank you Suzie and Tim from Lorraine & Scott and the pups! :-)
Thank you so much for making time to write your review. We love having guests & especially those to enjoy our hospitality...you are welcome to stay with us again...Suzie & Tim

Lovely Garden Outlook
This is a charming little cottage, with lovely light and a comfy bed and great shower. It is nestled in a small village which is beautiful to walk around. Even though it is one bedroom there is a pull out sofa bed in the lounge room. TV reception is not good and no movie channels mostly sport. Also if you want to cook there are no staples like oil etc and no local shops open when we were there so stock up before you come.
Also to note is just the cottage is joined to the house next door and we could hear the owners talking in their lounge room, but that is a minor issue. Fun art work behind the bed to create a country feeling.
It is only 20minutes to Dubbo and on a busy long weekend we were glad not to be where all the tourists were. Dubbo was full of lovely surprises including the amazing Cultural Centre where we had a lovely lunch.
The Dubbo Zoo was the purpose of our visit and didn't disappoint. Even though it was a long weekend we found ourselves walking the whole zoo for 6 hours and sometimes were on a road with nobody. It was a wonderful experience with beautiful animals in a safari like environment. Again take your own lunch as they had run out food by 2pm so we had ice creams for lunch! We had dinner at a wonderful local Thai restaurant next to a petrol station near all the motels. All in all a great trip and the drive there is spectacular.
Thanks for your review, glad you enjoyed the cottage. Noise does travel when it's such a quiet location...oops! We are not there now...so who ever stays might hear their neighbour...or viva versa!
