Jessica and Pat are real pros. Every detail was meticulously considered. The location is fabulous for anyone interested in the outdoors and the level of hospitality is incomparable.
Myself, my daughter and her two grown sons stayed at Carlyâs Cottage for 2 nights as a part of our Ireland experience and feel that it couldnât have been more impressive for the striking views of the burren, the comfort of the cottage, the close by points of interest, the very friendly locals & the overall beauty. Thank you.
Itâs a sweet little cottage in a quiet spot. One bedroom with 2 twin beds and a loft with a third twin with bathroom just next to it. One Double bed with en suite - itâs pretty small but youâre only sleeping there, right? Showers were good, plenty hot water. Owners were quick to resolve the issue when I couldnât get the heating to go on and with my error on working the washing machine! If I had any suggestions for improvement - new sheets, towels and pillows. They were functional but had kind of seen better days. Nice touch with the lovely soap and body lotions, well stocked kitchen and peat for the fire which we enjoyed. To get to the local pub is a short but twisty drive, you couldnât walk it. Great beach at Fanore and fabulous food at OâDonohues, Monks and Russell fish shop.
Carley's cottage delivered as advertised! A cozy little get away in the country/mountains, with plenty of space and all the amenities we needed for our 3-night stay. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. The roads are a bit gnarly getting to the cottage, but that's all a part of the experience!
