Luxueux cottage de style traditionnel sur la voie sauvage de l'Atlantique, surplombant l'océan Atlantique et au bord d'une belle plage de sable. Au cœur de la célèbre région de Burren, réputée pour son paysage de karsk. Ce panorama unique de gris offre un contraste saisissant avec les "quarante nuances de vert" de l’Irlande.
4 chambres dont une avec salle de bains pouvant accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 8 personnes. Les plafonds à double hauteur dans le salon ajoutent à la sensation d'espace, faisant de ce gîte une véritable oasis de calme et de tranquillité.
Emplacement idéal pour visiter l'ouest de l'Irlande et profiter de toutes les commodités le long du Wild Atlantic Way. Seulement 30 minutes. The Cliffs of Moher, l'attraction touristique numéro un en Irlande, compte parmi les grottes primées d'Ailwee et de Doolin, avec la plus grande stalactite de l'hémisphère nord. Ailwee accueille également une exposition d'oiseaux de proie tous les jours. Les îles Aran sont un court trajet en bateau depuis la jetée de Doolin et sont considérées comme l’un des derniers avant-postes de la civilisation gaélique.

A wonderful place for a family!

This lovely rustic cottage was a perfect spot for a 3-generation trip to the beautiful Burren area. Lots of space for kids, parents, and grandparents to sleep and all the amenities needed to take care of little kiddos (kitchen, washing machine, bath, etc).

Very relaxing stay with a great host

We had a wonderful stay, felt welcome and warmly looked after by Anne at all times. The house is in a quiet location, so we were able to relax very well. We can absolutely confirm the friendliness that the Irish are said to be. Thank you for the wonderful time. We'd love to come back.

The cottage was everything we wanted for our stay. It is clean and comfortable. Anne was great! She made certain we had everything we needed. It was a perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing.

Wonderful stay in the Burren

We had a wonderful time visiting the Burren and seeing a bit of County Clare. The cottage is a great base for exploring the area. Our only regret is not having more time. We’ll definitely be back!

Four of us spending 2 weeks in Ireland, wanted a base camp in the Burren. This was our choice based on on line presence. Cottage was exactly as presented on line. Welcoming, comfortable, spotless. Perfect for us. The hostess was a wealth of information about places to go. Quick to respond to emails. It was a wonderful ecperience

Lovely Location

We had a very short stay here, had to leave early due to issues at our home. Only issue with the house is the showers, both need attention, low water pressure and downstairs shower head and lead need to be replaced.

Excellent vacation!!

Cottage was clean, spacious and well stocked for cooking. Great lighting, heat and very comfortable beds. Anne communicated with timely responses to questions. She is extremely pleasant and knowledgeable about the area. The views of both the Burren landscape and Sea are lovely!!! My husband and I look forward to staying at these cottages again as we love the Burren and felt very much at home in our Cottage. Mary and Ken Vermont, USA

Paradise on the Wild Atlantic Way

Our family of five stayed here for four nights and could not have fallen more deeply in love with this part of the world. Fanore was a great small town with the nicest people, beautiful scenery and a great beach. Anne was helpful and kind and brought us peat for the fireplace on a cold windy day. We visited Doolin for great food and live Irish music and took a ferry to the Aran Islands to ride bikes around the island. All very cool. My only suggestion for the house would be more comfortable comforters for the beds. But aside from that a HOMERUN!

We absolutely loved our stay at Fanore Holiday Cottages, and we cannot wait to return. We spent two full weeks hiking the Burren, going to the beach, taking a trail ride, visiting the islands, watching the calves, and we had fish and chips at the local pub four times! The self-catering accommodation meant the trip was also really affordable and the kitchen has everything one needs to make a good meal. It’s close to Galway for a day out, and there’s plenty to see and do within a reasonable drive. The cottage is massive (almost too big for our little family) but that meant lots of space to stretch out and get quiet time. Anne was very responsive and answered all our questions (and she has great suggestions for everything from activities to groceries). Couldn’t recommend more!

Perfect. Peaceful. Private.

Thank you Anne for a delightful stay. The cottage was very clean and cozy. O’Donahue’s had an excellent fish fry and the grocery directed us to the best routes. The cottage is very private and perfectly peaceful. The ocean is visible from the bnb and the Barren is directly out the back yard. There is a very good “hiking” trail close. Our cottage was within walking distance to the beach. At the end of a Dead end, it would be perfectly safe for children. We never understood the shower but Anne was at the end of the road to help. I recommend buying paper towels to bring along. Excellent stay, perfect place and perfect host for us. Thanks again Anne.

Home from Home

This cosy cottage was delightful. It was very roomy and accommodated 8 people easily. The kitchen was well equipped and when we arrived it was spotless with a lovely fresh feeling everywhere. Going on the photos on line we did not expect that the house would be as good as it was. Many more up to date images would give a truer picture of how it really is. We were there during a storm with biting, cold rain and we found the house very warm and cosy which was a delight to return to in the evening. Turf was provided for an open fire which created a warm atmosphere for evening games. As to the hostess, she had a lovely easy manner which was so welcoming. She was unobtrusive but we always knew that she was at the end of the road if we needed her. A perfect holiday guardian angel!!!

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Cottage hat alles, was man für einen entspannten Alltag benötigt. Der Fanore Strand war herrlich, wir haben noch nie so einen schönen Sand gesehen! Vielen Dank für den Ausflug in die Burren und für die Möglichkeit, die fluffigen Alpakeas kennenzulernen! Vielen Dank auch für die Tasse Tee (und mehr) zum Aufwärmen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Peaceful and Beautiful Location

Anne was a great host and our family thoroughly enjoyed her rustic cottage with the yard and views! We enjoyed seeing the hares and fox(es) in the back meadow, the sunset and view of the ocean. It was so peaceful at night and we enjoyed the peat fire on the cold evenings. Thank you, again!

Family holiday

We had a wonderful time at Anne and John’s cottage. It’s clean and comfortable, with all the amenities you need. It was an excellent “home base” as was explored Ireland for the first time. Anne was always in communication, even warning us when bad weather was coming. We highly recommend Fanore Holiday Cottages!

Sehr gemütliches und heimischen Cottage.

Der direkte Meerblick zur einen und die Burren zur anderen Seite sind traumhaft. Sehr angenehm sind der Kamin, der große Wohnbereich, die Ausstattung, der Rundumblick, sowie der kurze Weg zum Strand. Gute Erreichbarkeit und Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen, die nächste kleine Einkaufsmöglichkeit ist mit 4 km Entfernung fußläufig schwer zu erreichen.
