Les jardins de Kapila sont parfaits pour les programmes de retraite et les réunions de famille avec son appartement principal avec deux chambres, ses 3 chambres, ses 3 casitas minuscules et sa tente à 1 ampoule. Plus un incroyable sanctuaire d'oiseaux et de la faune d'un jardin avec plus de 100 arbres et des plantes locales et des espèces de cactus, des aires de repos avec kiosque et une piscine.

Kapila Gardens was the perfect space for our friends getaway! We had plenty of space to spread out, a great kitchen and the outdoor area was beautiful! Would definitely stay again!

Family stay for wedding weekend

We stayed here with my parents, elderly aunt and uncle, cousins and kids for my son’s wedding and this location could not have been more perfect for our group. Plenty of room indoors and outdoors and lots of space that we used for wedding prep. The kitchen is well equipped which made it the perfect spot to have meals with our family and the outdoor area provided lots of room for us to spread out and not be in each others way the whole time. Pool was perfect for the warm weekend temps. Location was central to town and to all the wedding activities. We would stay again just for a wine tasting weekend or to have a staycation outside of Sedona. Fantastic stay - thank you!

Some fun...

The property itself was amazing! Amazing home, yard and pool. A couple thing we didnt like... 1- caretaker in trailer on property is like 20ft to the pool and a clear view. The lady is very nice but complains to the owners when the kids were too loud. And even stated we left our children insupervised in the pool. The owner even called vrbo to complain about the matter. We had 6 kids, ages12-16, that had been in a car for 3 days straight. Also, 2 children are hearing impaired, one autistic and one mrdd. They were loud. I dont disagree. But could be a little more understanding. It was a little uncomfortable having a random person to us next to the pool where our kids and us would swim. We had to leave early for an family emergency back home. So left 3 days early. Again, the home was amazing, the property and pool were amazing! Enough room, etc. The owner did communicate very well and often due to the kids being loud. Thanks for the nice visit.

Group of motorcycle friends and spouse. Great kitchen for making meals, nice outdoor grill. Plenty of rooms for everyone. Back yard is stunning oasis. Overall impressed with house and grounds. Well return next year for annual trip.

21st birthday celebration

We had an amazing time! There was a group of 12 of us ladies celebrating my daughter’s 21st birthday. We had the main house, the apartment and the garage. We had PLENTY of space for everyone. We enjoyed the heated pool and we cooked dinners 2 out of the 3 nights. The property is beautiful with multiple spots to sit and relax. We drove to Sedona one day and we visited 2 wineries in Cornville. I would highly recommend this location!

Tbe Kapila Gardens was fantastic, it was all we expected for our Christmas getaway. Our family enjoyed the entire property & the casitas were adorable. Teens loved their privacy. Pool heated to 90 degrees which was enjoyed by all. Would recommend, would like to return in warmer weather to enjoy the beautiful grounds.

Spacious house, beautiful yard

I rented this house for my group of friends traveling to the area for a visit to Sedona and wine tasting. The house was perfect with a large kitchen and all the tools for cooking for our group. We had the main house and connected apartment. It was roomy, very clean and the beds were comfy. The backyard was spectacular with a winding path and spots to have morning coffee. It’s conveniently located for Sedona, Jerome and the Verde Valley Wine trail. We all want to come back next year.

Great choice

We had an great experience at this property it was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. There were 8 adults between couples and singles and there was plenty of room. The pool was excellent and gave us time to relax and then explore the surrounding towns and wineries. We are planning on booking this property next year again, thanks Josh for getting back to us right away when we had questions.

Wish we could’ve stayed there longer!

We had a great stay in Cottonwood and this place was perfect. Spacious and clean… nice to stretch out after being in hotels for the prior week. Location was private and it felt like a little oasis. Amazing park like gardens and the pool hit the spot too. Next time we’ll bring the extended family too and fully take advantage of the property!

Beautiful property, poor management/ownership

We rented this home back in July 2022 for our retreat in April 2023. I confirmed pool heat during my original conversation with the owner only to find out it wasn't included in my cost. We ended up having to pay an additional $500 (which we negotiated down) for things we believed to be included in the cost. I'm grateful he was willing to work with us, but also communication and transparency is key. Day of arrival I had to reach out for instructions as they weren't provided prior and was then asked what we had rented. Seems weird he wouldn't know what we had rented and I had to tell him. We checked in, everything was fine. Just don't move the couch or lift the cushions, look up at the fans or expect unstained linens. The pool heat was also broken, but that's not on him and he did refund us. There was also no listing of a camper being on the property with an older lady and her dog. She will enter the property if she thinks your party is gone. Luckily for us, we had individuals there who witnessed this. There was also no mention of lawn care being done on Wednesdays anywhere in his listing, instructions sent to me through this app or on the house instructions. My guess is if you see it now, he's updated his listing. Upon bringing these things to the owners attention, I was called high maintenance like his property. I'm not, I just have standards for the amount I paid. The property's beautiful, customer service is not.

Beautiful centrally located garden oasis

Party of ten age ranging 5-65 years. We all had a great time here. We couldn’t believe how beautiful the gardens were! So much care has been put into the lighting, art and plantings. We spent time in the garden relaxing… they’re very private. The pool was nice and warm with towels provided. Layout and rooms in the house were perfect for us (just the right amount of common space but also private areas inside and out if you need a break from People lol). The property is a great central spot for site seeing and hiking. The kitchen is well stocked! We made dinner a couple of nights here and the kitchen was very chef friendly. Cottonwood itself has some good restaurants and ample grocery options. There is a very nice woman and her cute dog that do live in an RV on the side of the property I say this just as a head’s up. They keep to themselves though, respect your privacy and we didn’t even notice them as the property is expansive. Josh was lovely and communication was great. We would love to stay here again but this time instead of being on the go the whole time we would just like to relax and enjoy the beautiful property a bit more as it’s basically a mini resort!

Great Family Space!

We enjoyed thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of space for our family group of 11 and the house was well equipped! Very much appreciate that the pool has a full fence with locking gate to ensure that the kids only had access with adult supervision. Josh was easy to reach and very responsive throughout our stay. A little bit for everyone

The town of Cottonwood is in a perfect location for hikes, seeing national historic spots and a fun downtown. The home itself lets the guests spread out then come back together. with a backyard enjoyed with trails and places to sit and enjoy the fresh air. Modern decor and comfortable seating.

80th Birthday Celebration

Great location and great kitchen family room area to gather for our large group (was supposed to be 16 but ended up being 13). Well supplied house and owner was very quick to respond with a few questions. We didn't end up needing all the casitas but just a comment that each is really suited for just a single guest since the beds in each all looked like twin size. Beautiful property and well-kept. My mother in law truly enjoyed her surprise party and all guests were very comfortable in this house. You won't be disappointed if you book this location!

Everything and then some

Spent a week with friends at this beautiful home. Very spacious and nicely appointed.. I can’t say enough about the grounds and gardens. . It’s surreal; peaceful; interesting and beautiful. We spent a lot of our time in the gardens. Great sitting areas. The back porch is pretty awesome too. We used the pool every day. That was an added bonus for us Midwesterners. Location is excellent. Less than 20 minutes to Sedona or Jerome. Communication with Josh was excellent. Zero complaints. Highly recommend.
