Incredible property, great location. Very clean, dressy parking and quick, responsive communication. Only issue was that we didn’t know until we arrived that there would be limited hours for the pool and the arcade. We rented the whole property so the limited hours made no sense.

Our trip was amazing. The units were very clean and comfortable. The host was top notch from the beginning to the end. Very quick to respond and resolved whatever issues we had. This is a family friendly place to stay, with things to do very close by. We had access to the pool and game room, which was great but it closed at 5:00. That was the only thing that was hard for us as a family because we like to swim later in the day. The steps were a little bit challenging for 2 family members but we made it work. Overall, we had an amazing time and were very pleased with our stay. We would definitely revisit again in the future.

Great for multi-generational families

Perfect set up for our group of youthful grandparents (2), adult couples (3), single adult, and 3 children 7 and under. This was the perfect configuration (all 3 El Rey units) and location.

Property managers were outstanding. Very responsive and friendly. Overall, the place was odd. The listing is misleading. It is not an "estate." They are 3 non-connected condos built into the property manager's building. There is a public (cannot lock) hallway with a public bathroom (used by their maintenance crews) in between 2 of the condos ... stepping out from "your" room into a public hallway with workers in line for the bathroom is odd ... the third condo can only be accessed by leaving the building and climbing an outdoor staircase (fortunately it did not rain while we were there.The "resort style pool" was not finished. The maintenance guys worked on it for the first 2 days. I had to ask if we could use the dock with chairs and yard. The heated pool for "pool access" has limited hours and limited parking.The game room was locked and never available. When I asked, I was told "it is not ready."The rooms themselves were great. Furnishings and decorating were nice.

We would like to clarify a few points for future guests. The restroom you mentioned is not open to the public and is only accessible to staff members. Additionally, at the time of your stay, the onsite pool and game room were still being completed and were not listed as available amenities, as they were newly added features still under preparation. The “resort-style pool” referenced in the listing was referring to the communal pool access included with the stay. The good news is that the onsite pool, dock area, and game room are now completed and available for guest use. Nice Stay

The units were nice and spacious enough for our group of 10 (including 4 kids). Short drive to Tybee beaches and into Savannah. While the following information is in the fine print of this listing please note*** “heated pool access” is NOT onsite and you will have to drive to the available pool. There is a pool on site but it is not the one listed nor will you have access. Additionally, this is a 3 separate unit listing. That worked out fine for our family but I could see that being an issue for others depending on the group. Overall, it was a nice place but I would likely stay elsewhere next time I visit.

The description has been updated since our trip 6/19-6/26 to be a bit more accurate but I caution all who are considering this property to read the reviews. The listing includes all 3 units but they are NOT combined to make 1 expansive estate! We understood that it was 3 units but assumed they would be linked together in some manner - they are NOT!1 unit is accessible from the outside only, with a set of steep, unlit stairs. 2 units are accessible from the foyer through a door that is unlocked 24/7. (I.e. anyone can enter the building at any time)The individual units are locked by keypad locks - so you are secure in that sense.The downstairs unit is basically an efficiency apartment, big enough to gather max 4 people.The other upstairs unit at the end of the hall is also only accessible by a set of steep stairs.Once in the units-they are as pictured. The decorations are done thoughtfully & the bedding an towels are higher quality. The kitchens have the basics but not as stocked as other VRBO's we have stayed at. We all (9 adults) were able to eat dinner in this unit comfortably.Important to note- this property is advertised as good for all age groups If you need to get something to the inside upstairs unit from the outside upstairs unit, be prepared for NINETY (90!) steps round trip!! Not OK/doable for my 78 y.o. dad.Also, premium amenities of a dock, private pool & game room are basically useless as the hours they are open is 10-5 - while most are at the beach

Good Pandemic Getaway

Rented out the entire unit to celebrate my birthday with some friends. The site didn’t give a clear concept of the layout of the rental. The place was very nice, clean, and spacious. 2 cons worth mentioning..... 1. The vacation home sits right off the street. The front door is unlocked the entire time. The unit does not have safety locks nor latches. Access to unit requires codes- we wasn’t sure who else had the codes; lil alarming. 2. poor communication with after hours management. One of the unit heater broke; which caused an uncomfortable night. Tried to contact someone, no one was available until the next morning. The day time staff was very helpful; he/she reached out to maintenance right away. Maintenance was very professional and courteous. Overall we was pleased with the home.

Our accommodations were lovely and the units were nice and spacious. We were a little bummed that we couldn't get to the little observation deck near the water but had a nice view from our windows to watch the wildlife (granddaughters favorite). We totally understand that there's work being done and safety is the main priority. The staff was lovely and not a bother at all, which was very nice. They politely mentioned the sofa bed needing repair during our stay but were also kind enough to handle that after our departure, as we were not going to need it while we were there. It was great having a unit on the main level since my dad and step mom can't do steps very well, so having that main level property worked out perfectly. Our only complaint would be the water pressure, which we understand the water conservation as well but the shower heads could be changed to make the pressure there much better. Especially for those of us with long, thick hair. I literally had to turn off the shower and lay in the tub under the faucet to rinse my hair to get all the shampoo and conditioner out because there wasn't enough water coming from the shower head to do so. That was very aggravating. The only other thing I would mention, and I really don't know that you can do anything about it, is the road and outside noise in unit 3, from the window in the main bedroom. It's so very loud, especially at night. Otherwise, every person in our party was very pleased with everything.

Amazing Trip

We really loved the location of the property and really appreciated the short trip into downtown Savannah. We only had one complaint with the entire trip and that was the carpet in the bedrooms was uncomfortable especially after having been walking most of the day. Everything else was spectacular and really enjoyable.

Family Vaca at Tybee

We really didn’t have any problems with the rental other than the rentals were not connected which was overcome. The WI-Fi wasn’t dependable. COVID was an issue. The rental was good and the rental company was extremely helpful.

Amazing Tybee Escape

We rented all three units and each of the units were clean and absolutely beautiful. Fully stocked and the team responses immediately when needed. The location was great, close to everything. We can't wait to come out to Tybee again.
