Lisa and Jarredâs VRBO saved us after our prior VRBO plans fell through. They graciously accepted our last minute reservation. This is the Perfect spot for attending UF Graduationâjust minutes from campus, restaurants, and grocery stores. The house had so much character, and we loved making pancakes in the cozy kitchen. Would absolutely stay again!
We loved our stay here. It was beautiful, spacious, and well appointed. The hose was great with communication and we would 100% stay here again when visiting the area!
My son and I came down for spring break. The location is very close to the Florida campus. The property was very spacious. I think it had 4 beds and plenty of space to handle that many people. We didn't use any of the amenities but they do have a grill and an outdoor fire pit. Communication between the host was very good. They gave us ideas of places to see and eat. Very good ideas. When we return to Gainesville I will definitely check this property out again.
This house was spectacular. Check in was a breeze and the host attended to every single detail or issue. The house is exactly what the pictures indicated. I would recommend this property to anyone to visit . 5-star all the way.
This property was clean.Neighborhood questionable if single female staying alone.Older home. Unsure what one room was.Beds comfortable.Need a car.home's manager very helpful.Would be a great stay with the guys attending any UF Gator's game.
Great property and location! We loved exploring the city of Gainesville, so it was nice to have a place close to the heart of town. It was the perfect fit for my group of 5!
We stayed here while visiting family in Gainesville. The house is spacious, lots of room for our family of 4, and in a great location. We really enjoyed the big backyard! Would definitely stay again!
Good value, location, and comfort. If you ever need to go to Gainesville, this âvintageâ home is a really good alternative to hotel. And our property manager , Jarred, was a wonderful host.
Host communicated well. Located close to UF for game day. No coffee on the property but a coffee shop just down the street. The grocery store is very close. Would be nice to have bikes on the property as Gainesville is very bike friendly.
The home was perfect for our family and our short stay! We came into town for a UF graduation. The home was clean, very well stocked, and in a quiet, very conveniently located neighborhood. The host was very responsive and acknowledged minor issues/concerns, and open to rectification. The only minor issue was missing/non-functioning light bulbs in some lamps & a request for more smoke alarms. Would absolutely stay again if weâre ever in Gainesville!
It's a fairly quiet house (block construction, new windows) except when it rained (metal roof), and as the photos show, the interior is mostly original. We had no safety concerns, and the neighbors were friendly. You can expect some nearby loading dock noises in the mornings. Everything in the house worked, and the host was quick to respond to a couple minor issues at the beginning. Garage access was a nice bonus, though we only used it for our bicycles. It would easily accommodate a large car.
The house was perfect for my four daughters in town for a family event--plenty of gathering space, comfortable, clean, and exactly as described. Excellent, responsive hosts. Would definitely book again.
Location is perfect for easy access to the springs and downtown Gainesville. We had 2 Couples and 3 kids and had plenty of room. The living room is very spacious and a great place to gather at the end of the day and relax!
The property was in a great spot for our visit to Gainesville. The house itself was well equipped for my family (traveling with a small child.) Appreciated how communicative and helpful the owner was. Would recommend this property.
My family stayed here for my sonâs graduation. We had ample room to move around and relax. It is located five minutes from campus so it s very convenient. We would recommend it to anyone needing a place near UF
Easy stay in clean and centrally located home. Jarred was a very good communicator! Great house for folks looking for simple space that can comfortably accommodate a larger family or group.
I moved to Gainesville in 2006 to become a gator grad and ended up staying because I fell in love with the city and all it has to offer. I am an avid traveler and enjoy going on outdoor adventures. I'm also a fitness junkie and a huge foodie who loves to try new things!
I am a passionate entrepreneur who owns a personal training business in town called Swamp Fitness. I am also a Realtor and real estate investor. I thrive on having a positive impact on the lives of others.
I love this saying: "Progress not perfection".
My goal as a host is to make sure you feel comfortable and relaxed during you stay. :)
I fell in love with the exposed beam ceilings and all of the incredible mid-century charm that this property has to offer. On top of that, it's centrally located for all of the major Gainesville spots (UF, Shands, Dowtown, etc.). Lastly, the icing on the cake is that it's walking distance to a wonderful local coffee shop called Coffee Culture.
This home has it all with the mid-century charm, the peaceful and comfortable ambiance, and the ideal central location to everywhere you might need to go in Gainesville.
