Bienvenue à Banksia Cottage. L'endroit idéal pour se détendre, se rafraîchir et revivre!

Construit en 1898, ce cottage romantique et enchanteur de deux chambres allie charme historique et caractère chaleureux, tout en étant assorti à tous les conforts modernes.

Idéalement situé aux portes de la ville dans une rue bordée d'arbres au calme à côté d'une grande aire de jeux gazonnée, Banksia Cottage est à distance de marche des cafés, des boutiques, des pubs et de la CDB.

Doté de deux chambres à coucher, d'un salon décloisonné, d'une cheminée (bois fourni) et d'une grande cuisine de campagne bien équipée, le gîte est entièrement autonome et peut accueillir des invités pour 2 nuits ou 2 mois.

La véranda magnifique offre un endroit idéal pour se reposer et prendre dans le charmant jardin tout en profitant de vos rafraîchissements gratuits. Et si les vacances avec votre toutou chéri sont sur votre liste de souhaits, apportez-les aussi! Seuls les chiens bien élevés et calmes doivent appliquer.

A peaceful visit

A lovely traditional cottage, with mostly wooden floors and walls and high ceilings. Bed was very comfortable, and there were plenty of extra blankets and quilts for when it got cool. The garden was very inviting and it was lovely to sit on the front verandah and watch the world go by.

Awesome Place

The cottage was 126 years old but extremely well maintained. The hosts had lots of little touches which made the stay more pleasant and lots of memorabilia which made the stay very interesting.

Loved our time at Banksia cottage. A beautiful cottage with fireplace and really well stocked for visitors. Made us and the dog feel very safe and welcome. Would stay here again, it was great.

A beautifully appointed cottage with lovely character. Excellent cleanliness and thoughtful additions by hosts. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and our Golden Retriever was very happy with her holiday home. We would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Cottage

The photos of the cottage were impressive but were surpassed the moment we walked in the door. An obvious respect for the property's heritage with lots of added details along with all the comforts and extra that make a stay so memorable. From a bottle of sparkling wine through to Tim Tams, fresh herbs in a vase, amazing vinyl collection through to a guitar that I picked up and played again for the first time in years. It was surrounded by the prettiest garden. In spite of a severe heatwave the cottage was cool with A/C and ceiling fans.Conveniently located close to the CBD. After a few nights we felt like we wanted to stay for ages. Don't miss this absolute gem. Thanks Angie and Jefff

Fabulous location, extraordinary property

Amazing house in fabulous location. Quality facilities provided by hosts. Plenty of information on how to use facilities. All touches well thought out for happiness of customer. Delightful!

A beautifully presented cottage that gives a homely feel right from the moment you walk in the front door. We didn't want for anything with all living areas well equipped to make our stay comfortable and stress free. The location is ideal, situated in a quiet neighbourhood and within close proximity to the CBD and attractions. Thank you Ange and Jeff for providing this wonderful pet friendly accommodation that can be enjoyed by all!

Gorgeous historic cottage

We stayed 2 nights as a couple in this spacious and gorgeous historic cottage. It is very well equipped and meticulously clean. The Mort Estate Hotel is a fantastic up-market pub located a casual 350 mt walk away. The only negative was the very unpleasant heavily scented sticks located throughout the house which made us gag even after removing them. The price is extremely reasonable.

Beautiful & inviting for the whole family!

The cottage is inviting and cosy. Jeff and Ange have so many little touches and details that make the cottage unique and comfortable. It is clean with clear user guides for everything in the cottage. The cottage is full fenced and set up for dogs. The dogs LOVED being on holidays and exploring the garden. The beds are super comfortable with lovely linen. Super central location that is walking distance from cafes, shops and restaurants. Thank you Jeff and Ange for the beautiful stay. The whole family love visiting the cottage.

Home away from home

Its the little things that made the difference. Champagne, coffee, milk, hair dryer and straightener. Hand soap, fresh flowers and herbs. Etc etc. Everything you need is there when you first arrive. Tastefully comfortable. Quiet area. Gorgeous gardens. Great for pets. Hosts were always helpful.

Cottage in Paradise

I don't know if I can rate Ange and Jeff's cottage high enough. It wasn't as described though! It was so much better. The cottage is so well looked after and presented and we were surprised by Ange's little extras that made us feel more than welcome. Flowers, fresh herbs, coffee and machine, milk, and so on and so on. We felt at home. And so did our border collie, Jessie. No hesitation going out and leaving her home. She was as relaxed as we were. And the cottage is so close to everything. We are definitely coming back. A huge thank you to Ange and Jeff.

Quaint Cottage Beautiful Garden

We loved our stay at Banksia Cottage, walking distance to town quite part of town so great for sleeping. So much to love about this cottage, the garden and sitting on the front veranda is so relaxing. The cottage has beautiful decor, and you can tell from the moment you walk in how much effort goes into to make you welcome.
