Charmante maison avec des brises du Golfe et des vues de porches

Quatre chambres trois et 1/2 maison de bain avec une courte promenade de la plage. 8 personnes confortablement. Cette maison est pleine de porches enroulent autour parfait pour l'observation de détente ou un oiseau. Cette maison familiale offre un plan d'étage idéal avec accès salle de bain privée de toutes les chambres. Reconstruite après Katrina en 2011, cette maison est équipée de toutes les commodités et des finitions modernes. La maison est élevée offrant 2100 pieds carrés d'espace extérieur couvert pour griller, accrocher dans des hamacs, regarder des sports à la télévision ou tout simplement se divertir avec famille et amis. Zone du bas a également une demi-bain et une douche extérieure. Il y a des options supplémentaires pour dormir, y compris un matelas futon, deux matelas gonflables et un canapé.

This house has all the things to make you comfortable. The location is great, and always clean and in order. I think this is our sixth year, coming back, and have just made reservations for next year.

Relaxing

One block from beach and easy to walk to. Beds were comfy and loved the bottom porch but it was too hot for us to sit outside and enjoy. Loved the quiet beach and enjoyed the three full bathrooms with teens. The movie selection was amazing as well.

Family time

Quick weekend with my aging mom and adult brothers and their wives. We loved the place. Spacious upstairs and the open downstairs was incredible. Had nearby family come to visit for the days and had so much room. Fun times I hope to repeat next year

Perfect get away

The home was absolutely wonderful. location couldn’t be better, The house had every amenity you could imagine, so much indoor and outdoor space and with minutes from the beach. Communication with the host was easy and very pleasant. The home exceeded our expectations in somewhere we would highly recommend it would certainly like to come back to you.

An easy, short walk to the beach

This home is beautiful, and the owners have thought of everything! From towels to beach chairs to TP, it’s all here. The home is spacious and comfortable. Easily walk to the beach and enjoy the sun, surf, and sand, almost always with a breeze off the gulf. It’s about a one mile walk to downtown Bay St Louis - not bad at all if it’s not too hot/humid. Located an hour from New Orleans to the west and Biloxi to the east, there’s plenty to do if you can bear to leave the beachfront and old-town charm.

The house was amazing! Perfect location. So close to the beach and downtown BSL. The kitchen was equipped with everything you can think of and the beautiful antiques and warm decor throughout made us feel right at home! 6th stay at our “home away from home”

This house truly has become a home away from home for us and our kids. It’s the perfect size for our grown kids (all in their 20’s) with each having their own bedroom. Our daughter is able to have her own private bath, our sons share the Jack and Jill bath, and my husband and I have plenty of room in the master suite. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to prepare a hearty breakfast to start the day or a meal if you want to stay in for the night. It makes it easy to return here each summer. The proximity to the beach and Old Town Bay Saint Louis is ideal. And we love being able to utilize the living space under the house with its many seating options and ceiling fans. Homeowners have always been responsive and welcoming.

Great Place to Stay!

The property was even better in person than in the pictures. We loved the floor plan and the homeowners had many thoughtful touches (extra beach towels, dog bowls, etc.). The location was excellent with easy access to the beach and a short ride to shops. We are already making plans to stay here again!

Very Nice Stay

Very nice location. Very clean and well furnished with complete kitchen utensils and appliances. Plus and minus with home up on pilings. Nice ground level room and parking, but steps to living area is hard for us old folks but probably good exercise. Owner very responsive to any request.

wonderful Month Stay in Bay St Louis to Visit Family

The Property is Awesome and was everything we wanted for our month stay in Bay St Louis to visit nearby family. A short walk to the Beach. Property is incredible, well-kept and well stocked for everything you want for your stay. Communication is great and the host is very welcoming and accommodating. Family Christmas

Grandparents, parents, & grandchildren outgrew my in-law's home for visiting for Christmas. So we found this house and loved it. Close to town and close to the relatives. The home accommodated our three generations perfectly. Loved it and will rent this home again next time.

It is a wonderful property to stay. It is located close to downtown and the beach. One of the few properties with 4 bedrooms plus 3 bathrooms. Have stayed here 6 times over the years.

Returned for our 5th stay

This home has truly become a home away from home for us. Four spacious bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms are a perfect set up for us with our 3 “20-something” kids. There are plenty of spaces to spread out both indoor and outdoor. From the screened porch, to the back porch, to the fully furnished outdoor patio under the house, there is space for togetherness as well as space to have alone time. The house comes with a golf cart and outdoor wagon which come in handy hauling stuff down to the beach. It’s great having close proximity to the beach, while still feeling secluded among mature trees. You’ll find everything you need to cook a meal in the kitchen, and it’s nice to have access to laundry facilities right there in the house. Bay Saint Louis and Waveland are such welcoming a gracious communities. We highly recommend this house and the area for a relaxing vacation.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This home is a multi-generational property originally purchased by the current owners' grandparents, Thelma and Harry Beyer. This property has been a gathering place with many fond memories ever since. Passed from generation to generation, Charles and Harry Ward owned the home prior to Katrina. Harry lovingly renovated this early 1900's home where he lived with his wife Jamie and young daughter Renee. As was the case for many houses so close to the Gulf of Mexico, Katrina left only the steps to this home and a few small treasures special to this family to this day. Harry and his family relocated to Nevada after the storm and Charles and their sister Ruth Petras decided to rebuild. With so many memories growing up from children to young adults they wanted to build the home to make those memories possible for generations to come. The home was rebuilt late in 2011 and has been a place where many shrimp have been fried, storms enjoyed with our tin roof and sunsets appreciated from our porches. Today it is referred to as the Petras-Ward House.
