Guest Lodge at Wolf Creek Ranch

Le Guest Lodge est un endroit idéal pour les familles et les petits groupes à la recherche de temps pour se détendre et être ensemble dans un endroit magnifique. Le Guest Lodge a des porches complets à l'avant et à l'arrière et un grand patio en pierre ombragé entre le lodge et la piscine dans un cadre magnifique. Il dispose d'une cuisine bien équipée et d'une grande table à manger pour que vous puissiez prendre vos repas ensemble. Asseyez-vous et détendez-vous devant le feu dans la grande cheminée en pierre du salon les soirées plus fraîches du Texas.
Ce ranch est situé dans le magnifique Texas Hill Country. Nous aimons partager ce que nous aimons tant; nature, faune, nuits noires pour regarder les étoiles, calme, paisible, très privé et isolé.
Nous sommes un ranch de chevaux en activité avec un accès permettant à nos clients de profiter de nos chevaux miniatures et de divers animaux de la ferme. Le ranch est parfaitement situé à mi-chemin entre Fredericksburg et Kerrville. Les deux villes sont vraiment super avec tant de choses à voir et à faire. Nous sommes au coeur de la région viticole du Texas. Profitez d'une visite viticole ou allez simplement explorer et trouver votre lieu de prédilection préféré. J'aime la scène musicale de Fredericksburg. Chaque soir, vous pouvez trouver des artistes très talentueux dans 3 lieux ou plus, dont la célèbre ville de Luckenbach.

As always the accommodations were top shelf. Wish we could’ve spent some time in that pool but Mother Nature had different plans. We played lots of dominoes & just relaxed. Thank you again for sharing your place with our family!

Such a satisfying visit!

The countryside location and views (and animals) were highlights. A well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds were appreciated. Dining table big enough for game time. Adding the extra seating at the bar perfectly fit our party of ten. Those big, goofy dogs made me the happiest!

Overall, the property was great. We loved the country setting with nice views from the backyard! We had some wonderful weather with 80 degrees. The only real disappointment was that the pool was not filled and available...pool

We had a party of 9 women who graduated high school together & had not seen each other for between 40 to 50 years! We were all coming from different directions, some as far away as California & Wyoming. The flooding in Kerrville was not only heartbreaking for us, but also a concern as to whether the roads would be safe for travel. Kerri went above & beyond in communicating with us, through many texts and phone calls, and because of her reassurance we made the decision to follow through with our plans! I am so glad we did, as we’d have missed a blessing! The ranch offered us plenty of room to spread out and visit! The beds were comfortable & plenty of sleep space! The kitchen is well stocked. The views from the pool & outside are extraordinary! Loved to sit outside in the evenings, when the horses were loose & grazing. The dogs were good to come visit & are the sweetest! We feel that we could not have chose a better place to have our reunion & look forward to visiting again!

Amazing property and host

This was the most amazing trip we have had as a family. The property was stunning and Kerri and her family went above and beyond during our stay. We were so blessed to have her daughter Joyce take pictures of our group for a rare full family photo. If you want a little piece of heaven this is the location for you.

We completely enjoyed our stay at the ranch. The house was clean, well equipped and as advertised. The site was central to many Hill Country locations and the hosts were quick to respond to questions.

Beautiful ranch

Couldn't have hoped for a better stay!

We were all so ready for a great creative retreat and the place made the event perfect! We really enjoyed the remoteness of the property. The animals were awesome, and the house was well laid out for us to come together or split up to work on our own projects. It was immaculately clean and very well supplied.

We had a great stay, two nights. The stars were fantastic the first night. Great layout for two small families or one big one. Close enough to Kerrville but not to close to kill the night sky. Prompt responses from the owners

Awesome place!

Kerri’s property is beautiful. Comfortable, clean and incredibly relaxing. It has a well stocked kitchen large living room and spacious bedrooms. It’s our second stay and we are making plans for a third. It was great!

We loved this house! Unfortunately we were going to a stock show shop had very little time to actually utilize the house but for sleep only. Amazing location and would love to come back in the summer!

This place is the perfect mix of peace & comfort! It was perfect for a girls trip, plenty of space to spread out! The friendly goats, cat & dog added to the ambiance. The owner was sweet & easy to communicate with. You will not be disappointed!

Arrive at the location. The drive up to where we where staying was amazing. The place we rented was clean and very cozy. It was a just what was need after a long ride up from Dallas.

Relaxing and peaceful

April Kelly provides a very restful laid back and informal environment. Gorgeous views of the surrounding hills and friendly miniature horses and goats. The guest lodge has a screened in back porch the length of the building. Perfect for a family getaway. Loved it!

Another wonderful weekend!

This is our second annual girls trip at the ranch and it was fantastic, just like last year! The host is so friendly and so are all the wonderful animals. If you don’t like peacocks, chickens, deer, miniature horses, goats and dogs, this isn’t the rental for you ;) If you do, don’t hesitate to book this amazing home and enjoy beautiful sunsets and an amazing view by the pool! Thank you again for a wonderful stay!

More than we expected

The stay was absolutely amazing. The friendly animals, petting area, dogs, horses, hen, goats and pony’s we a plus. Not to mention the view!! Pictures don’t do justice. The host was welcoming and introduced herself in person. The house was clean. Had essentials in the kitchen, rooms and restrooms. Family games and WiFi worked very well. The screened in porch was a plus!! Ping pong table. BBQ pit area was perfect. Fire pit was beautiful. The pool was so relaxing. Felt like ranch heaven. Highly recommend to all.

Awesome house!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house for our girls trip! Kerri was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Only some minor recommendations: have a binder with checkin/checkout instructions such as where to place the trash when full, thermostat operation, lights operation, etc. and have an ice maker and heated pool in the off season months. Other than that the house was fabulous!!

Weekend away with friends

This place was so amazing!! Very very clean. Loved seeing all the wildlife out in the evening and at night. The dogs next door would come over and say hi everyday! I missed my dogs I left back at home so it was nice to see the dogs everyday! This property is phenomenal. The sunset we witnessed one evening was like none I had ever seen before. Sitting on the patio every morning having coffee was the highlight of the trip. I highly recommend this property and I will definitely be staying here again.

Kerri is a life long horse lover, rider and professional horse behavior specialist.
When she isn't tending to her many responsibilities as a ranch and BnB owner, you will find her in the barn with one of the 8 horses that call, Wolf Creek Guest Ranch their home.
When you are driving to the ranch through the beautiful neighborhood of big ranches and the neighboring exotic ranch, you will often see Kerri or a member of her family riding a horse or taking a walk with various ranch animals.
She is a trained, Orton Gillingham language therapist and on the founding faculty of several camps and schools , across the country, specifically for dyslexic children.
Wolf Creek Guest Ranch was home to a 5 week boarding camp for dyslexic students for it's first 3 years before the Ranch BnB became a full time business.
With Kerri's passion for horses, family and friends, developing a BnB to share her interests was a very natural fit.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We are always busy, maintaining and developing the BnB to be the best, most unique rental in Fredericksburg and the surrounding Hill Country. We have so much to work with here, being a working horse ranch and having a really fun Pony Petting Pasture where guest can interact with our miniature horses, Smoky and Rowdy and our cute goats, Goaty and Rosy.
You will enjoy beautiful views here and incredible sunset and sunrises!! We are a dark sky community with an amazing night sky. The stars are so bright that you feel like you can just reach out and touch them. It is also great to be able to see the Milky Way on most nights.
Abundant wildlife can be seen and enjoyed that call this ranch their home. We have White Tail deer, Axis deer, jack rabbits, all kinds of critters and birds as well as fox and coyotes.
We have a catch and release fishing pond, complete with resident ducks and various other water fowl that come for a drink and a meal.
Walking the rural roads is both safe, due to dead end ranch roads and beautiful. I personally try to walk every day and ofter take a horse along with me for exercise or training.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The Guest Lodge has a lovely pool for your summertime vacations and a huge outdoor fire pit and huge, indoor, stone fireplace for the winter vacations. The Lodge also has a full kitchen, and large open living, dinning area along with full porches, both front and back. The back porch is full screened in with comfortable rocking chairs and dining tables and chairs.
From the back porch, you will have access to the huge shaded patio that leads out the outdoor pool with the best views in the Hill Country.
The patio has a charcoal grill along with tables, chairs and hammocks for the entire group. It is an amazing area that you are sure to enjoy and may never want to leave.
For those wanting a little more activity, the Lodge also has a ping pong table, horse shoes, and a corn hole game.
As a guest you will also have access to the Pony Petting Pasture with Smoky and Rowdy loving your attention. The playful goats, Goaty and Rosy are also lots of fun to pet and brush.
It's alway nice to get outside for a little walk, down to the catch and release fishing pond complete with resident ducks, wildlife and a canoe to paddle around on.
