Nouvelle maison confortable sur le magnifique lac d'Amherst. À quelques minutes de Killington et Okemo. Une escapade familiale parfaite au Vermont - hiver, printemps, été et automne. Cette maison peut accueillir 6 personnes avec trois chambres et 2 salles de bain complètes. En bas se trouve une cuisine, une salle à manger, un salon (avec TV écran plat, DVD et Internet), une buanderie / stockage / salle de boue.

7 miles à Okemo; 12 milles à Killington; Sentiers de motoneige et de ski de fond sur la route. Idéalement situé juste à côté des routes 100.

Summer Rentals - House est livré avec 2 kyaks et une chaloupe sur votre propre quai privé. À quelques minutes du parc d'État de Plymouth, il y a la location de bateaux, la natation et les pique-niques, la mise à l'eau publique.

Wow!!! Amazing place!

Wonderful stay in this beautiful house Everything is new and clean and beautiful Lots of space, so many amenities in the kitchen, beds super comfortable, large bedrooms and washrooms Super friendly owner The site is just magical with the lake and access to kayaks and paddle board Very quiet and peaceful We did not want to leave!

Very nice, better than pictures

House was much nicer than it looked on the listing. It was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The stairs down to the lake are steep and cross a busy road so kids won't be able to do it alone. There is a nice outdoor area with a grill and fire pit as well. The host was very responsive and helpful. We had a great weekend and would stay here again.

On rt 100

Grills needed to be replaces due to the condition we were not able to use them. We thought it was odd that 2 drawers containing silverware and utensils were stored in Tupperware until we noticed the conditions of the drawers I wish I could post some of the pictures I took. We ended up washing all if the utensils and storing everything we were using and our food in the upper cabinets. We had a trailer for our Kayaks and would not want to try to carry anything to the lake using the provided steps. The owner stresses locking up and not leaving the kayaks unattended but the lock cable was strung through the rope kayak handles so I am not sure what good this would do. Lake was beautiful. I would not rent this property again

Cozy cabin with private dock

Comfortable cabin with everything you need. Partial lake view and private dock. Lake was great to swim in, and great for fishing and kayaking too.

Beautiful Lake

Communication with the owner was great. House was adequately stocked and maintained. The lake was perfection! Our two families of 4 adults, 3 teenagers, and one child spent 90% of our time swimming, paddling, fishing, sunbathing, and cliff jumping. The house is conveniently located near town. The only reason I gave location a 4 and not a 5 is because of the dock and house being close proximity to the road. We expected it going in as we read the other reviews that mentioned it, so it was not a surprise to us nor did it negatively impact our stay. I would recommend the house.

Overall not bad

So my wife and I wanted to rent a lake house so we could spend a week on the water with the kids. We have a 5 y/o and a 2 y/o. This house was not exactly what we had in mind. There were a lot of trees that block the view of the water from inside of the home. To get from the house to the water, you go down a very steep set of un-level stone steps, then cross a small highway which is always busy, and then go down a set of steep and slippery wooden stairs to get to the dock. We hoped for an area for the kids to play in the water, but the shore just drops right into the lake and was too deep for them to play. There was a nice beach area inside of a state park on the neighboring lake, but you have to pay to enter every day. The house had a few boats to use, but they were a nightmare to carry them down all those stairs and across the highway. The water was murky at the end where the dock is, but crystal clear on the opposite end of the lake where the creek feeds the lake. The location of the house to the water was very upsetting to us. The house itself was nice. We rented this home because it was brand new, expecting AC in a brand new home. The home did not have AC, which wasn't too pleasant on the hot July days. Also, there was no where to put garbage bags. You cant leave them inside because of ants, and you cant leave them outside because of raccoons..we learned both of this the hard way. So we had to take garbage bags into town. Another thing was no outside hose spigot to wash stuff off outside. Again, just things you would expect at a new house. The location of the home in regards to the area was nice though. Close enough that town was only a 5-10 minute drive where there are plenty of places to eat and explore. It was very close to both Okemo and Killington which makes this house much better suited for a stay in the winter. The inside of the home was modern and open. A big factor of this rating was in regards to where the house is in relation to the lake. It really should not be considered waterfront property. I don't think it is a good choice for staying with younger children due to the difficulty of getting to the water. We made the best of our time there, but if we had to do it again, we would find something different.

I'm so sorry you didn't have a great experience. We have outside garbage cans now and the boats are on the dock. When you were there we had literally just finished the dock and had not put boats down there yet. I wish we would have spoke before you rented. I try to explain the house to everyone before they rent. Not many homes in Vermont have air conditioning because it never stays hot enough long enough in Vermont.

Cozy home in a great location in between Okemo and killington.

Matthew was a great host with great response time to all of my questions and very accommodating to our needs. The house was in a great location about 20 minutes from killington and 10 minutes from Okemo. Everything was very clean and in great condition and I would absolutely stay here again.

Great house, Great Location!

We are long time visitors to Killington and decided this year to stay away from the craziness and the crowds of Presidents Weekend for our stay. We shared the house with another family making us 4 adults and 6 kids total. The layout was great, there was more than enough room for everyone and it made for a very relaxing and fun trip. We were able to eat meals in and pack meals ahead for the mountain to avoid the restaurant crowds and slow service. We thought we were taking a step back from staying at the mountain but we couldn't have been more wrong. Even though it was longer of a drive than we were used to the location was great as we were able to split up a 5 night stay between skiing at both Okemo and Killington. Everything we could possibly have needed was only a short drive away. The house was immaculate, beds were very comfortable. All quality appliances and everything you need for a vacation away from home was provided. Owner was very responsive, followed up on our arrival and our stay. It snowed 8" while we were here and the plow was here immediately. When I say I thought it was great staying on the access road for 25 years, I'm now sold on staying here. We can't wait to come back again!

Great location - very clean!

Owner provides great communication via text and verbally over phone. Great location between Killington and Okemo for Skiing. House is brand new and very clean. Perfect for 6 people. Snowed while staying, snow plow guy was johnny on the spot. Recommend AWD/4WD vehicle for graded driveway in winter. Will rent again!!

Matts place is perfect! Brand new and perfect setup for a family or couples weekend! 3 equal sized bedrooms, two full baths and the open layout of the first floor is perfect for hanging out, entertaining and the bedrooms are private enough to have your own space. Conveniently located in between killington and okemo, the location couldn't better. Perfect for winter activities, but with the lake and doc across the street, were looking forward to renting in the summer for a getaway! Matt was super responsive and we literally needed nothing as the place was setup for anything you could possibly want or need. Pots, pans, toaster, coffee maker, tv and internet! We loved it!
