Amazing POOL - prêt pour une baignade rafraîchissante.

Il y a 3 chambres à coucher, un salon avec une grande télévision à écran plasma, un système de refroidissement et de chauffage séparé, une cuisine complète ainsi qu'une grande cour arrière avec une piscine creusée chauffée à 28 degrés. La plate-forme est parfaite pour les sports de plein air. La maison est nichée dans la rue magnifiquement calme et adaptée aux enfants de Blairgowrie.

La piscine est opérationnelle de novembre à avril inclus. Le prix actuel n'inclut pas les 50 USD par nuit pendant la saison de la piscine et sera ajouté lors de la soumission. La piscine est disponible par demande spéciale en dehors de cette période au même prix (et minimum de 100 $).

Nous offrons également des possibilités de séjour d'une nuit compte tenu du nombre d'événements organisés dans la région et nous savons qu'il peut être difficile de s'évader plus d'une nuit. Sachez qu'un montant supplémentaire de 60 $ est appliqué au taux nocturne que vous verrez pour garantir que nous couvrons les dépenses immobilières. Nous acceptons les réservations d'une seule nuit dans les 2 semaines de votre séjour.

Cute, Convenient, Comfy and

A girls weekend at Blairgowrie was made so much easier staying here. We walked to Breckfast and the Beach, drove to Sorrento to shop. Picked up some goodies for diner and sat around in the lounge with music videos and chatting. We had everything we needed to have a wonderful weekend away. Thanks to the owners, such a cute place to relax and recharge.

There was for us (3 adults, 3 kids: 4, 8 & 8yo) just two reasons this stay was OK - the heated pool & the proximity to beaches. The house itself was not clean - both overall cleanliness and rental perspective - especially in the current COVID times. There’s no linen provided as per the listing, and it was clear the previous group hadn’t had any - we had to wash all the mattress protectors to remove the sweat, vomit odour & body hair from them, before we could use our sheets. The washer’s spin cycle seems faulty so it was well past the kids’ bedtime before we could make the beds. The furniture in each bedroom had drink stains, sand and body hair - more cleaning needed. The neighbour mentioned that there had been schoolies groups staying, explaining the state of the overflowing bins of bottles and trash out front, and the bedding, bedrooms and kitchen inside. There was just two-thirds of one roll of toilet paper in the house (the one on the holder) for our two night stay for six people. The dining chairs have torn coverings, were dirty or no seat padding or all of the above (listing photo is clearly old). Given that that rules for the property state that you must vacuum, mop and run & empty the dishwasher or risk a $50 fine per failure to comply - what does the cleaning fee cover? There was no sense at all that the property had been cleaned or even visited by the hosts or cleaner between stays to warrant the fee. The internet failed at some point, so the Apple TV, Netflix etc did not work. The kitchen’s collection of old pots and pans, mismatched and incomplete crockery, cutlery, glassware and utensils was disappointing - easily fixed for $100-200. The cutlery and kitchen utensils were dirty, so we had to put everything in the dishwasher before we could make dinner. The two largest pans were very dirty with baked on food, and with no scourer in the house so had to drive to Blairgowrie IGA for one. Much of the house itself is dirty and tired - dust and grime build-up on window sills and architraves, broken towel rails, worn out dining furniture - things that are easily remedied, and most at little to no expense. The pool and enclosure give the impression that it is the most recent upgrade to the property as it is good condition and was well used - for an additional fee! A disappointingly expensive visit to the coast - cannot recommend this property if the current standard of cleanliness & facility persists.

A perfect escape especially with small children

I loved our stay as it was exactly as described and what we were looking for. A homely house with a great backyard and a perfect pool for all ages. There was even a welcome basket for us which was a pleasant surprise. Communication with Paul was always easy and he always replied promptly.. it’s a very easy house to look after and keep clean for the longer stays too. Out of anyone’s control was the weather during our stay, however the heated pool allowed us to use it every day anyway. If you have small kids and live in Melbourne or surrounds, it’s a great alternative to flying out somewhere for some downtime. Definitely a property I would love to stay again in the future.

Outdoor living enjoyment

My family recently stayed at this relaxing property with our two whippets and various friends. Space inside has been utilised quite well to make it accommodate many people although the living space is a little small if the weather is cold and you have to relocate inside with 6 children and 4 adults. However, this property has an excellent outdoor space which is its charm. A huge grassy area for dogs to run, Shaded areas with a games area under a carport, fabulous swing/seats, lounge chairs by the pool with a huge umbrella, basketball hoop, and outdoor seating. We spent 90% of our stay in this great outdoor space. The pool was always warm – but not too hot. There is an ant problem so being very tidy during your stay is imperative. We had to spray the bathroom and toilet areas every couple of days to keep the ants away. Being familiar with older styled beach houses, we were used to dealing with ants and spiders. Paul and Jodie were very communicative and we really enjoyed our stay.

The house was perfect size easy to find and in a great location for us. Paul was amazing from the Booking process All the way to the time We were there even texting me letting me know the pool temperature! Definitely do yourself a favour and rent this house out. You won’t regret it!!

Great sized pool and god backyard, the pictures online don’t do justice as we were pleasantly surprised! the only downsides were that the microwave doesn’t work, there were no basic things such as salt/pepper and oil, and not enough toilet paper for 3 days (luckily we brought some) Overall the house is great and easy to clean if you get everyone involved. The owners were nice and easy to deal with. The house was lovely but thought it was definitely overpriced. I didnt understand how we were expected to mop and vacuum the house especially when I had to pay a cleaning fee on top of everything else and to top it off there was no bins supplied at the property. We had to bring everything but the kitchen sink, plus take all our rubbish with us. Also to have a pool but have to pay the additional charge to heat the pool on top of what we already paid seemed a bit steep.

We had a great stay for 3 nights and although the weather wasn’t that nice for us the kids were still in the lovely warm pool everyday. We had a great time at Blairgowrie. Our own little beach resort, clean and comfy home, backyard our own little oasis with swings, bbq, deck area and swimming pool to relax. A leisurely walk to the Blairgowrie shops for brecky, lunch or dinner and then the beach. Quite, Peaceful and Tranquil - just what we needed to recharge with family and friends.
