A fantastic apartment in an absolute cracking location. The apartment was spacious with room for all 4 of us. Love the older retro feel and the cafes and restaurants at the end of the street were very handy. Cannot yet any closer to beautiful Flynnâs beach. Will definitely be back.
Canât beat the location or view but apartment needs a refresh
Gorgeous views right across the road from Flynnâs Beach. A quick stroll down the road from awesome cafes and restaurants. The apartment is in a large block, well situated at the front of the block. Incredible ocean breezes to main bedroom. Cons: the second bedroom is tiny, has no air circulation and was too hot to use, the furniture needs a refresh, and the garage situation was very confusing.
Absolutely amazing location. You could literally throw a stone into the ocean from the balcony. The views are spectacular. How often do you get an ocean view from your bed?! Enjoy watching people scramble for parking spots while you amble to and from the beach with little more than a towel over your shoulder.
The apartment itself is fine, if unspectacular. It's clean and the fully-functioning kitchen is great. The lounge and dining furniture isn't the most comfortable and it takes up quite a bit of space. The bathroom is also a bit cramped on account of the washing machine, but having the washing machine is great. The bathroom taps are really small so washing your hands is a bit uncomfortable too. These are all minor things, but you do notice them. At the same time, they're by no means deal-breakers. We had a terrific time here, it's great value and we'd stay again.
Amazing view and location. Secure parking. Property managers were lovely and accomodating. The unit could use a re-fresh as furniture and carpet appeared tired and worn. I would be happy to pay extra to have Wifi available as phone reception was poor.
We enjoyed our stay here. The location and view were amazing! The apartment itself is a little dated but everything was clean and in working order. No aircon wasn't ideal but was fine for us to have windows and fan on... mostly 24 degrees and cooler in the evening with a bit of rain... if it had been any warmer it would've been a lot more of an issue. Not to do with the property but the building seems to be an Optus dead zone... we couldn't get service inside and ended up buying a Telstra SIM in order to use our internet etc. Might not be an issue for others. Overall a very pleasant stay!
Booked in for four nights but stayed one and moved elsewhere.
The unit has a great view, canât argueâŠbut that is all it has going for it.
Itâs old, tired and badly in need of an upgrade. No aircon, just a feeble fan downstairs, and ceiling fans upstairs. Musty smelling old linen on bed and in cupboards, dirty kitchen sink (food crumbs), stained hand towels in bathroom. And, worst of all⊠brown water from shower / bath. Told by letting agent that the water is a port Macquarie âthingâ, but thereâs certainly no warning of it happening, and most of the hot water is wasted before the water clears. Consequently only enough hot water for one of the two of us. No issue at all at our subsequent accomodation.
Not possible to easily access the tiny sink in the bathroom, due to the massive washing machineâŠ.uncomfortable furnitureâŠ.a letdown in every area.
Garage is tiny (for a large car) and while it is stated as âsecureâ on the site, it isnât as they are shared spaces. If another tenant leaves a garage door open, then access is available to any of the 4 vehicles in the garage.
Nowhere near good enough for the price charged, even off peak, and nowhere near being accurately described or pictured on the site.
We forfeited our monies paid and went elsewhere to enjoy our short time in Port Macquarie in comfort( for the same sort of price).
Great location
Great view
Apartment is a little dated but has all you need
Walking up 3 flights of stairs was tricky with 3 kids under 6
I would stay there again.
Was pleasantly surprised with how nice this apartment was for the price. Fantastic view and nice to lay in bed at night and listen to the sound of the sea.
