This is a great little place to stay with family and friends. We were in town for some wine tasting and it's a super location for that. By the way, shout out to Stillwaters (bring a picnic!) and B&E (the owner is a hoot!).
It's about 20 minutes from downtown Paso Robles, so we stayed in, drank our wine, and barbecued. There's a fire pit which we sat around as the sun set, lovely.
Overall, the place worked really well for us.
Couldn't locate washcloths, kitchen towels (i may have just overlooked!)
Street is a bit busy, traffic noise at times.
Better lighting esp in dining and kitchen
Hazardous sunken living room, we had a few mishaps with that.
When the guest room at my son and daughter-in-lawâs house in Creston became the new babyâs room, I had to find a place to stay close by. This house was perfect. Well maintained and equipped, with a lovely fenced in yard for my dog to play. I spent most of the time at my sonâs house, but we did visit Rava wines just across the road, which was a beautiful winery. And we ventured into Paso for dinner one night which wasnât too far away. I would highly recommend this house for a couple or a family. I will definitely be going back.
we really enjoyed our stay and the location could not have been closer to the wedding venue we were attending. However if I can make a recommendation I would absolutely upgrade the lighting in the kitchen and bathrooms. Also the dishwasher is not attached so itâs hard to get it to close and run properly. Other than that the beds were comfortable there was extra linens so I would say I would probably stay there again
The property was close to the wedding venue we were going to this weekend. It was perfect for three small families to share (4 adults and 2 children). The neighbors are friendly and the yard has good space. Would stay here again.
The place was spotless, perfect location in you want to go wine tasting, close to downtown too. Very quiet, it had everything we needed. I highly recommend it.
Please note. Great stay comfortable beds. BUT THERE WAS NO WATER IN THE HOUSE IN THE MORNING WE LEFT
Great beds. Great location. Water didnât work the last morning we were there. Couldnât shower or clean dishes or start washing machine or dishwasher.
We really enjoyed our stay here! The house is somewhat secluded about 15 minutes away from shopping and city life which is not bad. We loved that it felt like we were in the country side and had vineyards close by. The house didnât have any games or boards games to keep kids entertained and didnât have many cooking spices so if you plan to cook bring your own condiments. Overall it was a lovely place and the host was very responsive.
We had a wonderful time at Candi's. Candi was incredibly responsive and the property was even better than in photos. All wood floors, clean, big beds with very soft/cushiony toppers, and a great outdoor backyard with some lights and a fire pit. We were surrounded by farms and vineyards - great little getaway, but no more than 20 minutes from any winery.
In fact, on the last day we rented bikes from Mike (http://pasobiketours.com/index.html) and he even dropped them off and picked them up at Candi's for no extra charge. We biked to a few great vineyards in the area (Sarzotti and Hidden Oak were our favorites). It's a bit of a bike ride (5- 6 miles each way) with some hills, but if you take the back road down Cripple Creek, a great way to see the area around Candi's. I highly recommend doing this if you're active and able.
We had a lovely time and are already planning a return trip. Thank you Candi!
Great little property in the countryside in Paso Robles. The home is large and well furnished. The kitchen has the basics, but if you are planning to do a lot of cooking, you will want to bring your own necessities. The BBQ works great so that is a good option. The breezeway design for the property is really nice and provides a great covered âporchâ. The location is right next to a very busy road so there is quite a bit of road noise. We brought our bikes and were able to get out for some great rides directly from the house and the riding is great! Beautiful countryside. Easy trek into town for whatever you need. Highly recommend!
The property was nice but closer to the road than we would have liked. We chose this location specifically to avoid any noise from fireworks which proved to be true. The kitchen was not well stocked / suited for cooking meals which my husband & I like to do when staying at a rental far from town. I would recommend stating this on the property information sheet so people can adjust accordingly. Also, it took a long time for hot water to come out of the faucet or shower heads. Other than these minor details we enjoyed our stay & would stay again/ recommend the rental to others. Candi the owner was prompt at returning emails and phone calls.
Great pet friendly property that made a perfect home base for our week in Paso. Property was clean and spacious with fun ranch themed decor. Beds are comfy. Will definitely stay again!
We really loved our stay in this paradise home. Candi was a great host quick to respond to our questions. We loved everything about this house the firepit outside is a great spot to hang out in. Many wineries close by. You can also get fresh eggs down the road đ
We will definitely be back.
When we arrived at the house there were already guests staying there! Some how the computer over lapped the reservations! After we got a hold of Candi, she put us up in one of her other houses. The other house was nice, but small. We had our dogs with us and there wasn't much of yard for them. but we made it work for the one night. The next day the other guests left and we were able to get in the house! The house was perfect. Enough room for all of us and our furry friends. Nice and clean. The beds were comfortable, and the decor was nice! We especially loved the donkey wall hanging! The house was perfect for our Christmas celebratio We would for sure return again!
The house was as expected. Most important to us was proximity to the wedding venue (5 minutes). House was clean, linens were provided and everything worked. Met the 1 week old calf (named Bob). Great weekend!
