We loved our stay. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed. The location was peaceful and private. We enjoyed the hot tub, fireplace and decks. Outstanding views of both the mountains as well as the wildlife in the yard (elk, deer, turkeys). Would love to return!
We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was well-equipped with everything we needed and perfectly situated in a stunning location with breathtaking views. During our four-night visit, we didnât encounter the abundance of wildlife shown in the listingâjust one coyote and two deerâbut we did see plenty of animals in and around the nearby park. While the cabin is ideal for groups of four to six, we stayed as a couple and found it to be a worthwhile splurge. It is a bit pricey when not splitting the cost with others, but the experience was truly memorable. Weâd definitely return!
This property was amazing to stay at. The house was adorable and was stocked with eveything you need. Only 15 minutes or less from the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The mountains are incredible when you're sitting on the deck. The hot tub was very nice and a perfect touch after a long day of hiking. My favorite part was sitting under the pergola. We saw deer, elk and all kinds of birds. A truly wonderful experience and I hope to stay here again in the future.
Our stay in this cabin was just perfect. We loved the outside deck the most - the mountain views, the flowers, the hot tub, the running creek, the deer out back in the mornings. Everything we needed was found inside the cabin, and the location was great.
Excellent cabin. Had everything we needed. Location to town and the Park was perfect. The views were amazing. Sat on the deck and just enjoyed the amazing weather and the views.
What a charming cabin! Our family had the most magical time at this quaint and quirky cabin! It feels so cozy and welcoming- like a stay at Grandmaâs house- the one who bakes your favorite cookies and lets you win at board games. We watched the elk go by while eating dinner and watching the sun set over the mountains from the SPECTACULAR deck! We enjoyed viewing a meteor shower from the hot tub, surrounded by the pines and serenaded by the two-story water feature that wraps around the stone staircase. This cabin was truly a one-in-a-million experience, and we canât imagine ever staying anywhere else when we visit Estes Park in the future. Thanks for the hospitality! It was an ultimate five-star experience!
The house was really cute and the deck was amazing. The host was great with instructions and information given. The view was beautiful. It was the perfect spot to get to both Estes Park and Rocky Mountains
Great cabin in a perfect location. Well stocked with everything you want and need. We had elk and deer on the property every day! The view from this cabin is outstanding. Had a great time and highly recommend this beautiful mountain location!
Property is in a beautiful location with a beautiful view. Kitchen is well stocked. When we arrived, the house was covered with white pet hair, this included floors, furniture, counters and beds. Bed linens were on the floor uncleaned as well as dirty towels in the bathtub. The kitchen was not cleaned. We immediately tried to contact Robin but he did not answer. We then called Mark the âProperty Managerâ listed in the property book. However, Mark said he only takes care of the hot tub. Mark did contact the housecleaning crew. He called back and said they were not scheduled to clean it. We tried contacting Robin via the VRBO app and no immediate response. Lodging elsewhere was limited so our only option was to clean the unit ourselves. This included needing to vacuum multiple times to get the excessive pet hair with multiple vacuum canister dumps, laundry, and full bath and kitchen clean.Robin called the following day, a good 15 hours later. He offered to send the cleaning crew out which at that point was unnecessary because we cleaned the unit ourselves. He then offered to refund us a whole 200, which was offensive, as âthat is what he pays the cleaning crewâ. At no time during that the conversation did we hear âI am so sorry this happened to youâ. What he said âIâve never had this happen in six years. I sent them the updated cleaning schedule on May 6th.â He eventually refunded us 350.What you do get is amazing views on the side of a mountain.
This place is perfect for a stay in Estes, Co. It is located close to downtown. The cabin is an old fashion cabin in the mountains. Its very comfortable and has a great driveway to park vehicles and in my case a small trailer. There is a hot tub with an amazing view of the mountains. Highly recommend.
It was a wonderful property and the hosts was great to work with. The views on the comfortable deck were amazing! And great access to Rocky Mountain National Park!
3rd time in Estes, but this cabin was by far the best!
Communications were great! Location was perfect.
The views are breathtaking!! Willing to bet there is not another rental with views this amazing.
4 different decks/patios and each one of them have their own perks! They didnât skip on a single detail.
Everything you could ever need is available and itâs very homey. You could tell this place is as special to them as they hope it will be for you!
Only thing I would change is adding a gate that can enclose the smaller master patio (for the dogs that must be leashed or new pups so they donât wander off or wild animals donât wander up to them. So bring a portable gate if this applies to you :)
Cannot wait to come back!
We rented this cabin for a bachelorette party weekend and it was more than perfect! The view was absolutely stunning and the best background for all of the pictures. We really enjoyed the hot tub and all the seating on the deck. There were two beautiful hummingbirds that hung out on the deck the majority of our stay! Would absolutely recommend!
We did notice a drone that was watching us while we were in the hot tub the first night. We just went back inside. I sent a message letting them know and they thought they had seen one as well and said they were going to look into getting that taken care of! Very responsive and helpful!
Highly recommended. Quick access to RMNP and amazing views from the deck.
We had a great 6-night stay here in August. Communication with the owner was outstanding before and during our stay.
We hiked in the NP every day, arriving at the trailheads well before dawn (to beat the crowds) and returning in the early afternoon to enjoy the views from the comfortable deck with stunning views. We cooked dinner most nights and found everything we needed in the kitchen.
Location: Less than 10 minute drive from Beaver Meadows entrance. It was great to not have to drive through Estes Park to get home after our long hikes in the Bear Lake area. Downtown Estes Park is easily accessible. Just be prepared for traffic.
Sleeping: As clearly described, the 2nd bedroom is not connected to the house. We couldnât figure out how to make this work with our 5-year-old and 8-year-old kids, so we all slept in the main bedroom.
Tip: The house gets warm on sunny days in August, especially in the upstairs bedroom. Keep the blinds closed during the day and open the windows after sunset, and itâs fine. You might request the owner have all the blinds closed prior to your arrival.
We enjoyed our stay at Robinâs cabin. What was so special to us was the unique history of the cabin, built back in the 1940s. The location is perfect. We were far enough from the hustle and bustle of downtown Estes but close enough to get to shops, restaurants, and the park entrance easily. Our kids were old enough to enjoy the detached downstairs bedroom and thought having their own âapartmentâ for the week was fun!
This property was built by my Grandfather in the 1940's and has passed to my mother and we have primarily used this as a family cabin exclusively. We decided to open the cabin up to the public due to my mothers ill health and limited use.
Very Private location with amazing views off the large deck facing the National Park. We have done significant improvements to the property over the last 15 years to make it more and more relaxing and enjoyable. We are very close to the National park entrance (2 Miles) and to downtown Estes Park (2 Miles) We have a hot tub that looks out toward the National Park located on the deck to the right of the large deck. We offer Free Wifi, and Cable.
