I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was clean upon arrival. The only issues we had was that the living room furniture was very worn and the large couch had a terrible smell. We did not use the washing machine and dishwasher until our last day there and neither worked correctly. The dishwasher was showing some error when running it and the washing machine was not draining. The location of the house was great and an easy walk to the beach. Lafittes landing is always a top choice as the beach area is always less crowded and all houses are an easy walk to the beach. We always have a great experience as well with Swedes and use them for all rentals when we come to Crystal Beach.

Reviewer Comments: Love the location and a GREAT layout for three couples to share. House just needs a really good cleaning and the mattresses on the full/queen beds need replacing desperately. Would love to make this house our annual New Year's Eve place. Hope to find out these issues are resolved for next year. Swede's is always wonderful to work with!!

Anniversary weekend

We have stayed in Beach house before and love it, but both refrigerators were out this time. We lost all of our food. We called Swedes Realator and they had some body come look at it, but he never fixed it. I know it was a busy weekend with it being topless Jeep weekend, but we came to enjoy ourselves. Not to worry about spoiled food we lost. My husband talked to someone about it when we dropped key and they acted like they did not care. We were not one of those idiots tearing up the beach. I feel for Crystal Beach having to put up with that. I just think take care of us that rent these Beach houses and take care of them while here. My husband and I love Crystal Beach and would love to rent again if we have a refrigerator that works. It’s our fault we came onJeep weekend. We lost about $150.00 worth of food. Thank

Beautiful house

Home is beautiful, great neighborhood, beach views, and beach access. Get a good powered golf cart as access is soft. Homes needs some maintenance, rusty air vent covers, deck board and nails popping up. Also hand and dish soap were not full, not extra trash bags, and oven was dirty and made house smokey.

Nearly perfect

Freezer was broken so we had to use ice in a ice chest. Other than that we lived this property. Close to the beach and short drive to the store.

Some hickups but overall good experience

The house was amazing! Large living space, open to the kitchen. Linens were an additional charge and weren't sufficient, they didn't provide enough towels. House was clean and plenty of seating.

Summer of Covid 19 fun!

House was perfect for our needs! Very close to the beach...plenty of room for our group...loved hanging out on the deck! Property does need a bit of updating and small issues need to be addressed...still I would recommend this property!!

Not maintained well.

Ants in kitchen coming up from carport post. Front doorknob rusted with sharp edge that could lacerate a finger while opening. Didn't appreciate having to pay extra for linens and towels and learning about it on arrival. Is it too much trouble to provide toilet paper and tissues and paper towels? Many light bulbs burned out. Overall not a good value for the price.

Sorry about your experience. Ants have been a problem everywhere with the heat. We can keep our rental prices lower by making linens optional. The tenant receives a couple of emails advising about the linens. Give us another try. We have many houses to offer.
