Plan d'étage ouvert, maison de lac décorée de façon saisonnière avec une vue magnifique sur le lac! Maison rénovée offrant des loisirs sur le lac, détente, foyer, grand pont, salle de jeux pour les enfants! Cette maison dispose de canapés confortables, d'un îlot central avec un luminaire rustique! Sièges de cuisine pour 4-6, chaises et tables supplémentaires dans le stockage pour plus d'invités! Belle terrasse sans entretien avec chaises longues et parasol. Deux parasols au bord du lac et un quai pour accrocher vos jouets aquatiques! Il y a quelques kayaks à utiliser, ainsi que des planches à pagaie et divers jouets de plage et une cabane pour enfants (voir photo de la plage). Profitez également des activités hivernales! Raquette, ski et motoneige, à seulement 1/2 mile de la route 169. Très proche des sentiers de motoneige! Près de la ville et des villes jumelles, mais assez loin de l'agitation de la vie bien remplie. Situé à dix minutes de la réserve nationale de faune de Sherburne où il y a des promenades dans la nature et l'observation des oiseaux! Et à seulement une heure du Grand Lac des Mille Lacs! Que vous recherchiez une plage familiale décontractée ou que vous organisiez une réunion / une petite fête ou un mariage, cette maison a tout pour plaire! Un grand débit de la cuisine-salle à manger-terrasse à la plage, organiser des fêtes d'anniversaire et des réunions est fluide avec beaucoup de parking et de magnifiques couchers de soleil pour démarrer!

Another fun stay!

We have stayed at this property for the last three years with friends. We all have kids under age 8. The toy room is fun, separate areas for our two families, a nice beach and swimming area. Definitely some nice places to hang out inside and outside, great kitchen. And, most of all, we’ve made great memories together. Jackie is a great host and really takes great care of the property,

Owner is difficult. Rent with caution.

While I recognize there are a lot of positive reviews, I highly discourage families from renting this property. The owner wanted to meet us there which would be fine, but she initially agreed to meet at 4pm check in, then changed to 5-6p last minute and then just showed up well after 7pm as we were sitting down for dinner. She then walked through the entire house to "move laundry around" while we were there, but I think she was just being snoopy. It was weird. There were a lot of rules with this property which we followed exactly. Ultimately she contacted me 4 days after check out requesting an additional $200 cleaning fee as she felt it took her "extra time to clean." I asked for any sort of proof as I was really surprised by this, but she had none. She cited finger prints on the windows from our toddler, having to wipe out the inside of the refrigerator, and some baby powder on a bathroom floor. She agreed that we had not damaged anything, followed all of the instructions and picked up all the outside furniture/toys/garbage/bedding. She just "felt" she had to spend "extra time" cleaning. It seemed like she was trying to take advantage of us to try and make extra money. The lake is not great. It is shallow/overgrown with weeds. Fine for kayaking but you cannot fish there and we had difficulty tubing as our boat motor constantly clogged with weeds. We have used VRBO for years never with complaints. I would caution working with this owner as she is difficult.

Perfect summer getaway

Spent 5 days at this cabin with some extended family/cousins. The kids had an amazing time - the playroom in the basement and the shed full of so many toys, life jackets, and all sorts or kayaks/paddleboards, lounge chairs, etc. CANNOT be beat. The individual air conditioners between bedrooms allowed for individualized comfort that my husband adored. Be aware there is no Wi-Fi, which was surprising, and I would say was my only negative. Most of the time it didn't matter however when you have an entire day of poor weather the lack of Wi-Fi was more noticeable. Will definitely be back, loved our experience.

Beautiful stay

What a beautiful house on a beautiful lake I came here with my Girls Group for a weekend getaway and everything was great. We use the barbecue girl the first night that was fine and also we use the fire pit every night and it was so relaxing out there by the water, we also spent part of the day out on the water on paddle boards and Floaties and it was very relaxing. The host was very good at explaining everything we needed to know about the property. I would definitely stay here again.

We had my husband and I and 4 kids ages 15-30. The cabin is very cozy and comfortable. Nice beach with plenty of water toys. The owner is wonderful.. she checked in often to make sure we had everything we needed.

Family Vacation

Our stay at Jackie’s house was nothing short of amazing! We loved the small beach and clean water to swim in (all thanks to the aqua thruster and her care for her property). She was so easy to work with and communicate with throughout the stay. She checked in on us after night one which was extremely thoughtful. The toy room she has for littles was loved by our little boy who made it is room for the duration of the stay - it was so nice he had an area to play in without us having to drag a bunch of toys with us. Even though the property doesn’t have central A/C she has room A/C’s which were more than enough and even the basement stayed plenty cool. Overall she was a great host and we loved staying at her place - would definitely come back!

Great for young kids

We stayed here during the spring because it was close to family. It was a perfect place to stay with 4 young kids, even though it was off season for the lake. The kids slept in the basement bedroom and loved having the smart tv in there. The toy room was super fun, especially ages 8 and under. Kitchen was well-equipped with all the basics. This is a place the owner said they also use, and you can tell it’s set up nicely and well-loved. The handmade staircase and cute painted basement floor was so fun! The beach looked really nice - will consider checking it out in the summer. FYI this is not a secluded lake cabin. It’s basically a neighborhood house with lake access, nice, but not private. It was a great location, 5 minutes ti Elk River and 40 minutes to downtown Minneapolis.

Beautiful family friendly property

The house was very cozy for our winter stay, it was beautifully decorated. The toy room was a big hit and was great for keeping the kids occupied. They had a lot of accommodations like a pack and play available, a baby gate etc. The host was easy to communicate with, and was very responsive and helpful if we needed anything at all. I’m sure it’d be great fun in the summer too. Overall a great stay!

Impeccable!!

This house was so stunning and so perfect for our family! Firstly the property manager is very communicative and made sure we knew everything and had everything we needed. The shed is FILLED with canoes, life jackets, floaties, and a splash mat. The beach is sand and the kids just loved it. The porch is lovely and gives a great view of those Minnesota skies at night and a lovely sunset view. Two main bedrooms are upstairs and the double rm with the TV is downstairs as is the playroom. Love love loved it.

Great place for families!!

This place had everything we needed for our family vacation. We loved that there were great a/c units in the rooms and plenty of toys for our son to play with. The sandy beach was perfect for our son to make sand castles on. Jackie was a great host that checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We were close to stores and some restaurants, which was convenient! The only suggestion we would make is it would be nice to have a tv upstairs to watch movies on, but there was a great tv downstairs in the living room/bedroom area with lots of movies, cable, and Netflix. Would definitely stay again!!!

August grandkid get away

My daughters, grandkids and I spent three nights. There was plenty of room for the six grandkids and us. The property was extremely well maintained and beautifully decorated. We love the outdoor flowers. Sitting on the deck in the morning with coffee is a treat with all those hydrangeas around. The beach was great for everybody there are deeper areas for the older kids to swim and play in and shallow areas for the younger kids. The sandy beach was clean and had plenty of beach and water toys. The toy room was a big hit there are plenty of movies for good night time entertainment. Our host was so helpful. She showed us around and answered questions. She was very responsive to our inquiries during our stay. She was accommodating to our requests. I would definitely stay here again

Wonderful stay!

Just stayed for the second time at this property and it was even better. Our host Jackie checked in with us and made sure everything was going well. We stayed with friends and have kids ages 6 and under. The beach was perfect for swimming and playing in the sand and the playroom is awesome when needing down time. Love the kitchen and hang out areas. The property is beautiful and well maintained. It’s a wonderful place and we have made many treasured memories the past two summers! Hope to return again.

Total package cabin life

Well-stocked, clean, very cute cabin with everything required for an extended family getaway. Beautiful sand beach to build castles, large green lawn to play games, dock for catching fish & securing jet ski, clean water for swimming, paddleboarding, paddleboating, lily pad play, smoker grill, great fire ring, comfy furniture, amazing playroom, huge kitchen. Jackie has prompt, caring communication. Will absolutely book another vacation here. All in our extended family had a blast.

Family vacation for all ages

We had a fantastic extended family vacation. There were lots of things to do right at the property. We fished, kayaked, canoed, played in the sand, had a couple of fires with smores and pudgy pies, and so much more. The little kids enjoyed the playroom. We highly recommend Jackie's property.

Great Lake house

Jackie was great as a host, and we really enjoyed the house. The kitchen was fully equipped, and beds were comfy. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck in the evenings watching the sunset and the blue heron catching fish. The furniture was all very comfy and it felt like home. We also liked using the kayaks and paddle board. Jackie is very accessible for any questions and I highly recommend this house. 👍😀

Review of Jackie's place

First, Jackie is a wonderful host and a nice person. She took the time to meet with us and make sure everything was in order. Second, the house itself is fantastic and looks just like the pictures. It has a very nice, cosy feel and it is clear that the owner is committed to maintaining and improving the house. It was immaculately clean which was important for our group as we had some who have allergies and sensitivities. The great room was an excellent spot for gathering and hanging out together. We are a three generation family so we needed spaces for the younger kids (actually and in heart) to play (few of the houses I saw on Lake Fremont have as large a lawn, a sandy beach, and a swimming area in from of the house) while at the same time being accessible (only a couple of steps) for older, mobility impaired adults. As with a lot of MN lakes, there are weeds and lily pads close to shore but the owners have taken great pains to keep the water area in front of the beach clear which made it great fun (soccer goalie on the lily pad anyone?). There is also a wide assortment of floating vehicles (canoe, kayaks, paddle boards) so that we had a flotilla at times on the lake. The pellet grill allowed our "grill master" to prepare tasty meals and there was plenty of seating for all. The adults in our group were all saying they would rent here again. Five stars all around!

We’ll be back again and again

This was our second year staying at Jackie’s wonderful home on Lake Fremont, and we plan to keep coming back! I grew up in central MN but live in Seattle, and I try to bring my two boys (9yo and 6yo) to MN every summer. Spending three nights at this house has been the highlight of the trip two years in a row now. The house is great, and there is tons to do between all the boats and toys in the shed and all the toys in the toy room! The fishing off the dock is also great, and my kids’ favorite part of staying here. (Last year in late June we caught lots of bass off the dock, but this year we came in early July, the water was very warm, and we caught primarily yellow-bellied pan fish, which were too small to be worth eating. But my kids had a ton of fun just catching and releasing them!) The water was SO warm this year (this lake is quite shallow so it heats up easily, and there’s been a lot of hot weather this summer), it felt practically like bath water—delightful to swim in, even if it meant the bigger fish weren’t hanging around the dock! The house stays cool with air conditioning, and the big umbrella over the patio table keeps it pleasant to eat on the patio if you want to, even on hot days. The deck faces the gorgeous sunsets across the lake. And Jackie is responsive, welcoming, and a delight to rent from. This place is our little slice of paradise!

Great Cabin - Has Everything you Need!

Jackie was an amazing host and her place is fantastic. It's clear that she cares for her guests and takes great pride in her rental. It has pretty much everything you can think of. The water toys were great to have/use and the lake was beautiful. I highly recommend this rental/location. Having a TV upstairs would have been nice. Also, the water is quite shallow in areas so I wouldn't recommend diving off the dock.

Girls Weekend and Birthday Celebration

We had a group of 8 women who wanted to get together for a girls weekend and birthday celebration. The location was ideal and the space was perfect. We enjoyed the lake, bon fire, ducks and just being outside after a long winter. Jackie was great to work with and accomodating. The only thing we would change is outdoor lights that came on at 9 as we would have sat outside longer but the mosquitoes were coming out. We had a blast and would rent again!

Perfect Stay

Can't say enough positive things about our stay at this property! We had a group of six adults that came up for a snowmobile event at ERX Motor park in Elk River. Jackie (host) was excellent, stopping by to make sure everything was in order and gave us input on restaurants and activities near by. The home was perfect for six adults, very clean and all the amenities that were advertised. Parking was also large for our equipment and trailers, which is rare to find. The trail was close to the house, which made the location an excellent choice for our weekend. Will certainly plan to stay here in the future and would highly recommend this property. Thanks Jackie for your warm hospitality and wonderful property! We will certainly recommend it to our friends and family!

I own this home with my two kids and have greatly enjoyed living here! We’ve hosted numerous lake parties, birthday parties, and showers here. I am opening up my home for others to use and enjoy as much as we have!! I grew up in Zimmerman. I love to ride horses, 4-wheel, fish, kayak, camp and be in nature. To me, this place has it all with the convenience of living close to the cities yet far enough away to feel space and country living. I hope you will enjoy my home as much as we have. My kids and I continue to live here as I rent out when I do not have them. More than likely I am around the area riding horse or visiting family and friends!

Close to the country and the Twin Cities. This property is smack in the middle of both! The north half of the lake is county owned, with a minimum maintenance road that’s great for walking and biking around. And the south half is ran by the city of Zimmerman. My lakeshore retreat has everything you’d want in a lake place get away with family or friends. Relaxing on a private beach, boating to the island, hosting an event, or even enjoying winter activities! All is possible with this home. (I do not supply any motorized water toys, a dock is available to hook up to if you want to bring your own!)
