Family vacation

Plenty of room to spread out in this home. Great location right on the beach. Nice size pool. Kitchen was well stocked. Three generations of our family enjoyed the annual vacation here.

Only complaint were a couple sharp nails on the deck that need to be fixed so the kids feet didn’t get cut

Great Family Memories

Only problem we encountered was the stoves broil functions did not work. the ovens themselves were not super functioning.

Great week on the beach in OBX!

The location was perfect, so many shops and great food nearby (walking distance), Jack’s Burgers is a MUST HAVE. This home was spacious, beds were comfortable, pool was a good size, and the pool house was an added bonus as it was not featured or listed as a benefit/feature of the home. We especially loved the rooftop area over the pool house for hanging out at night. Beach area was clean. We loved the nugget that was available for the kids too, and the rollaway cots!

House met our needs

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Large house and all but one bedroom had its own bathroom which worked well for us. Ice maker is a big plus. Beach access is somewhat difficult as there is a large dune to navigate. Location is very convenient to shopping and restaurants. We had an ac issue on the fourth floor which they did fix but had to come twice. Response to service calls was very prompt

Fun week with family

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A big catch is a great house and very accommodating. Unfortunately, we had a couple of big problems. The grills were barely usable. We called about them and somebody showed up but the problem really was not resolved. Another rep showed up Friday afternoon telling us we’d be getting new grills. It was too late because we were leaving Saturday. In any case, we never got the new grills. In the middle of the week, the pool heater went off. In the past, Wednesday was the regular maintenance day. This time they showed up on Thursday and said the heater needed water so it turned itself off. Wednesday was the warmest day and we didn’t use the pool since the heater went off. $600 to heat the pool- We had no way to know why the heater went off! Since we enjoyed our time anyway, we did resign for next year. Hopefully we won’t have these issues.

We appreciate your feedback, Kara! We are sorry to hear about the pool heat. Per our listings, it only raise temperature 10° above the consistent ambient temperature (60° and higher) and the weather was fairly mild that week. Although the delivery was delayed, we are happy to report that the new grills have been installed and are raring to go. We hope we will have a change to wow you during your next visit!

The house was clean, but dated….the kitchen sink leaked and the air conditioner was not working on the 3rd floor, it took them a day and a half before bringing window a/c, which leaked in the one room ! Unfortunately we had rain almost everyday so we couldn’t use the outside very much!

There were 20 of us and there was still room to go hide if you needed to! I would recommend this home to any large party wanting a nice house with a good location.

Overall, Wonderful…. 14 members of my family from Seattle, Little Rock, NYC, Massachusetts and New Jersey…. Kitchen area was Central and very well equipped. Pool, really clean (inside the adjacent area room could use the AC being repaired as could not be used other than storage) Sunrises were glorious. Proximity to ocean, wonderfull! Central location for the dunes, Bodie Lighthouse, Carolla and Safari tour… good… waterpark and miniture golf (go early!!!!) Thank you!
