Idéal pour un couple qui aime marcher, faire du vélo et se détendre, ce cottage est situé dans une campagne magnifique à seulement 15 km de Skipton.


Paradis des marcheurs avec le chemin de Ribble qui passe au bout du jardin, ce gîte mitoyen de plain-pied jouxte le domicile des propriétaires et propose un hébergement spacieux et soigneusement coordonné. Il est situé au bout d'une voie privée dans une zone rurale, avec une vue dégagée sur la campagne environnante et les collines au-delà. Idéalement situé entre le parc national des Yorkshire Dales et la forêt de Bowland, l'établissement se trouve également à proximité des complexes de vélo de montagne Pennine Bridleway, Settle Loop et Gisburn Forest, ce qui en fait un lieu de séjour idéal pour des vacances actives. Il surplombe un site présentant un intérêt scientifique particulier dans la plaine d'inondation de Ribble, avec une richesse d'oiseaux et une peau d'oiseau sur le chemin Ribble. Une maison idéale pour se détendre et profiter de votre environnement. La ville animée de Settle, située à seulement 6,4 km du marché, propose un grand choix de boutiques, de pubs et de restaurants. Wonderful spacious cottage with all amenities you could wish for. Host are always available but not intrusive, just very nice. Plenty of places to visit or just stay home and admire the views.

This is a small cottage attached to the owner's property. Carl and Bev are the perfect hosts. Happy to chat and offer advice but who leave you to get on with your holiday. The cottage was cleaned to the highest standard, tastefully decorated and well-maintained. It is equipped with everything you need and more. The cottage is in a peaceful location, which in turn means a 15 minute drive to supermarkets but that's what we were looking for. There's a small enclosed patio to sit out and enjoy the scenery and a larger parking area with grass, which our dog loved to explore. The Ribble Way is on the doorstep but livestock in the field meant that we preferred not to use it with our dog. However the walk up the access drive to the main road was perfect for our evening strolls.
