Exactly as described. Jemal was very responsive. Location was perfect. Close to Coast Guard Beach & Nauset Light Beach. Also near Wellfleet, Truro, and Provincetown. Would rent again!
Nice little cottage, directly accessible by the main road 6 (but a bit noisy), good spot close to the cap code train rail, less than 10 min of east and west beaches of the peninsula. 10 min from a large store. Bring your own water from drinking and coffee + bed sheets and towels. For the rest, everything we needed was there. Thank you!
Pros:
Great Location
Adorable place
Great indoor porch
Beach chair and umbrella were nice.
Cons:
Horrible cleaning job. We found the place had not been cleaned at all. The coffee maker still have coffee in it from the last guest. Our pillows and comforters had hair from the last guest. Also, all the cooking utensils were dirty and had not been washed in a long time. We ended up buying pillows and blankets. We ended up using the kitchen minimally because we didn't feel like cleaning everything. We tend to cook often during our trips, but not this trip because of the mess.
If your flying in, your required to bring your own sheets and towels. I wish there was an option to have those available for an additional cost instead of flying with a suitcase with extra stuff.
Overall, if the place had been cleaned properly, I would have given them 5 stars and a comment about the additional cost for sheets and towels. Given the mess, I couldn't go past 2 stars. I hope this helps with the next guest staying.
Couldnât raise any of the roll up shades as cords were tangled or broken . Floor of shower made out of the slipperiest tile available - ceramic - had to put a towel over floor in shower . Screened porch had all storm windows down with broken shades that couldnât be raised and floor is actually a deck with dirt underneath and bugs coming through . Empty cleaning supplies , no door on freezer compartment .
This place is perfect for two guests, very cute and well-maintained, with a great full kitchen, sun porch, and little yard area with a grill Perfect budget option for exploring the Cape
We had a nice stay and it was perfect for just my husband and I. The listing didnât say there wouldnât be sheets/towels but luckily we were visiting friends and they had extras we used while there. We would stay there again!
Overall it was good. Internet wifi signal was very weak for the duration of the stay, we made due but it would have been tough for a longer stay. Bathroom is very small, was fine for us but would be tough for larger people.
Le CousCous was a great stay in the best part of the outer Cape! The place is very cute and in a very quaint neighborhood of cottages. The online pictures and lists capture the place exactly as it is â small and simple but perfect for a week on the Cape where youâll be out at the beach! This was on us and our skimming of details, but there is no washer/dryer which can be tough on a 5-night minimum reservation. But, we decided to do laundry old school by hand. COVID precautions donât allow the property to provide linens (including towels) so just keep that in mind.
All of this said, Le CousCous was a great stay and suited us perfectly for the week! Thanks for a great vacation!
We really like this cabin. The porch was very private and the beds were comfortable. I found the road sound a little tough at first but then we didnât notice it. I would would like to have had more information about recycling. Itâs a great location and we loved Cape Cod.
Thoroughly enjoyed the location â perfectly situated and easy to access various beaches, as well as shopping and fun in Wellfleet, Truro, & P-town. The screened-in/covered porch provided a more expansive living space; it was nicely decorated in traditional beach style. The fridge size, which was commented on in other reviews, was fine for us because we brought a large-capacity cooler and ate out for most of our meals. The bathroom is small, with a stand-up shower; it suited us well enough, but that might not work for others. Really great place for a five-day-plus getaway.
I stayed in the cottage for one week in early July. The space is very accurate to the listing-- small but comfortable, with everything you need supplied (including a decent selection of kitchen supplies, extra blankets, etc.). The cottage also has a great location in North Eastham, super close to some great beaches, the bike path, restaurants, and more. The only down side from my opinion was that the cottage is right off of the main highway in Cape Cod, so while the grounds are well maintained and comfortable, you have the highway right there when you are relaxing outside. However, it did not interfere with my sleep. Overall I think this is a very nice place to stay, especially given the accessible price point.
Property was clean and well maintained. Check-in was easy and convenient. This is our 3rd stay at these cottages. My only concern is road access into Sandpiper cottages is somewhat dicey - sign is small, unlit and to enter access road requires full stop on Rt 6 (cars traveling 55+ mph) if coming from the East. But no complaints on the property, except refrigerator was small - diificult to accomodate 1/2 gal milk/OJ or ice cream.
We had a hard time locating it because we are not from the area. Once we found it everything was perfect! Itâs in a great spot from everything. Itâs not to far from beaches and other towns. I would highly recommend and definitely stay again! Great first experience very happy!
The comfortable & centrally located cottage is the perfect "home away from home" to explore the Cape. The cottage was clean, accurately described & even had beach chairs! The owner was both easy to communicate with, responsive and very helpful. I had a great time. Highly recommended. Thank you very much!

Simple, sweet little Cape cottage
Simple, pleasant little cottage, well situated and clean.
The owner, Jamel, was a good resource.
This darling little cottage perfect for 1-2 adults is just what you need for a cape vacation! Iâve been frequenting this area off and on over the last 20 years and have stayed in multitude of places, and this was very comfortable! It was very clean, something that unfortunately can be a toss up when renting a place like this! For me, personally, traveling can cause anxiety if Iâm uncomfortable in the space Iâm staying, etc.. and I felt right at home in this cottage! I honestly canât wait for my vacation next year!
Very quaint and well kept, perfect little get away!
Very nicely kept little doll of a cottage. The owners were very responsive and gracious and checked that we had what we needed. The cottage has two twin beds inside the one room cottage and a full/queen futon on the enclosed porch. We booked at the last minute for an unplanned get away when our favorite hotel in the area was booked solid. It was a great choice for us, as we are out most of the day and only come back to crash, and maybe made one or two meals there max besides breakfast. Given the size of the place it is surprisingly accommodating, and had almost everything we needed. It is part of a small nicely laid out group of cottages. The neighborhood felt both quiet and safe. That is saying something because it does back up to Rt. 6, so if it's windows open season, and the traffic noise is undesirable to you, then this is not your place. For us it was a great little place which we enjoyed and will definitely stay again!
We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. It sits in a small complex of about 8 other cottages and has parking for at least one car. It has a nice main room/kitchen/bathroom and an enclosed porch that is nearly as large. It has all the essentials - everything you need (micro, coffee maker, tv, wi-fi), nothing you don't. It is just south of the Wellfleet border which we appreciated because we frequent allot of the restaurants there. It is a quick two-miles to Nauset Light Beach and a nice run there and back if you're a runner. Coast guard is another mile or two west if you feel like dealing with the parking shuttle. Be warned that Eastham beach stickers are only for bay-side beaches and ponds in town. Ocean beaches in Eastham are all NPS and require a different pass that you can buy right at the entrance booth of any national seashore beach parking lot.So the location is excellent. The owner was very accommodating and helpful via email as well. Overall, we had a great stay.
