Gites de Chaignepain - 5 gites for up to 26 people

Gites de Chaignepain is a 5 gite complex in Poitou-Charentes. The gites sleep up to 26 people, all are well equipped for self-catering holidays with private terraces and have access to the fenced swimming pool, garden and games room. Full of rustic character and recently refreshed and furnished with luxury in mind.
Our beautiful gîtes are converted from ancient goat houses dating back to 1803. They are full of rustic charm while providing every comfort you would wish for in a home away from home.
Les Vignes sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin), Le Citronnier sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms (1 double, 1 twin and a single), Le Poirier sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms (1 double, 2 twins), Le Noyer sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms (1 double and 3 which can be configured as either a superking or twin beds) and Le Figuer sleeps 2/3 people in 1 bedroom plus a sofa bed and is all on ground level. Le Noyer and Le Figuer have en-suite bedrooms, dishwashers and beds which can be configured as super-king or twin upon request.
There is a fantastic heated, fully tiled, safety fenced pool 10 x 5 metres with plenty of sun loungers, parasols and inflatables. The secure fenced garden contains children’s swings and a slide, a wendy house, swingball, outdoor table tennis and there is also a games room with air hockey & table football as well as bookshelves with books, board games and DVDs. We have lots of bikes including child sizes & safety helmets.
Each gite has a fitted kitchen, fully stocked with all crockery, cutlery, glassware etc. There is a kettle, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer and full normal size oven and hob. Each gite has satellite TV so you can watch all the normal UK channels or if you prefer you can watch French TV. DVD Players are provided and WIFI is available so you can keep up with your emails if you wish – please note the signal is poor in this area and will not be strong enough to stream films/video clips etc. Each gite has its own lounge and dining area inside as well as an outdoor dining terrace with patio furniture and BBQ. Le Figuier has its own mspa hot tub and lounging area outside.
All bedrooms have shelves and hanging rails, all bedding & towels are provided free of charge including pool towels. Cots, highchairs and safety gates are available for each gite on request. Unfortunately we are not able to accept pets.
In high season booking are from Saturday to Saturday and for a minimum of a week.
We have a communal laundry room with washing machines and ironing equipment and a communal bathroom with a bath which is useful for the young ones. We include a welcome pack with the basics and offer a communal fridge and freezer with some extra supplies on an honesty box basis. If you require a bigger shop prior to your arrival this can be arranged upon request.
