Une retraite spacieuse et luxueuse pour les couples près de Great Tew

Quatre étoiles, évaluées par Visit England. Peut accueillir 2 adultes. Grand canapé-lit permet d'accueillir deux personnes supplémentaires. Peut être combiné avec Cobnut Cottage pour dormir 6-8 via la porte interne pour se connecter directement avec Châtaignier. Idéal pour les grandes familles. Élégante table en chêne et 4 chaises. Sol en ardoise africaine avec tapis dans tout le chalet.

La châtaigne, au rez-de-chaussée de la grange principale aménagée, est spacieuse et luxueuse pour deux personnes. Son atmosphère calme et tranquille ainsi que son accès direct à la terrasse ensoleillée offrent aux clients une sensation de fraîcheur et de restauration.

L'accès à la châtaigne est en brique et des marches carrelées en terre cuite menant à une petite zone extérieure carrelée avec banc de dalle de pierre solide. De la porte d'entrée, un petit lobby mène à la cuisine en chêne massif. Vous passez ensuite à travers de belles doubles portes en frêne massif placées dans un écran en bois pour atteindre le salon et la salle à manger confortables. Un feu ouvert inhabituel, des solives et des poutres apparentes et un sol en ardoise africaine en font un appartement des plus somptueux. Un grand canapé-lit permet d'accueillir deux personnes supplémentaires.

La chambre à coucher, à travers une voûte en bois voûtée dispose d'un siège de fenêtre incurvée et une table de lecture avec une belle vue sur l'étang et la vallée de Cotswold au-delà. Il y a des volets intérieurs en bois qui rendent votre espace de couchage à l'aise et calme. La luxueuse salle de bains privative est dotée de lambris en chêne et d'un sol en ardoise africaine. Il a une baignoire profonde et confortable avec douche de tête.
Détendez-vous dans des fauteuils devant les élégantes portes-fenêtres à cadre de ch��ne ou entrez directement dans la cour ensoleillée où vous trouverez votre propre coin salon niché entre le citronnier et l’hydrangée.

Great place to spend time in the Cotswolds

Heath Farm Holiday Cottages is a great place to spend a holiday. We stayed in Chestnut which was very well appointed. A big bonus was the wonderful country view from the hot tub. Friendly owners and staff were always available to assist. Close to many wonderful walks and places to visit.

Always brilliant

We’ve been coming to Heath Farm for five years now and always enjoy our stay immensely whichever cottage we stay in. It is so wonderfully nurturing and walks around the woods and down by the pond are relaxing and so peaceful.

really lovely accommodation in beautiful Cotswolds!

Heath Farm is lovely! Chestnut is a beautiful accommodation: spacious, cosy, well equipted, beautiful furnished with lovely details of quality craftsmanship. Chestnut comes with a private garden with view at the lake and sunset. The jacuzzi was perfect to relax after long walks in The Cotswolds. We will visit Heath Farm again, for sure!

Dickens Golden Wedding weekend

Everything was brilliant. We booked the whole site for the weekend- 10 adults & 12 children. So much to do - wonderful games facilities & equipment. We had our own sports day & also played rounders , football, cricket, & croquet. Mon very kindly set up a huge slippy slide for us ( blessed with hot weather) Then we also had the hot tubs, & the lake for fishing, paddleboarding, boating & swimming.

A wonderful stay at Heath Farm

We had a wonderful stay at Heath Farm. The hosts were fantastic. We stayed in Chestnut which was beautiful and very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. The place was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. The welcome pack was a nice touch and the cakes from the bakers on site was device. The grounds and surrounding areas are a pleasure to walk around, just be mindfull of the main road, it can get busy. We will definitely return.

Wedding Weekend Bonanza

We had our wedding here so all the cottages were booked out for the family. Everyone was taken aback by the care and attention paid to every detail. The cottages were a delight - cosy, quiet, comfortable Everyone at the wedding said they’d be looking in to booking their own weekend away at Heath Farm; it’s immaculate and so are all the cottages.

Wonderful stay at Heath Farm

We had 10 lovely days in Chestnut Cottage at Heath Farm. The cottage was so well set up, immaculately clean and comfortable and such a charming place to stay. The setting is just beautiful and the location was perfect for us to explore the many interesting places in the Cotswolds that we wanted to visit. Very friendly staff, family working there. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you.

Chestnut review

Lovely secluded getaway. Helpful hosts on site and clean and comfortable accommodation with a good sized hot tub and relaxing surroundings. Really enjoyed our stay and would go back. Order the sourdough. You won’t regret it. :)

A slice of heaven in the Cotswolds

We had the most amazing stay at Heath Farm. Mon and his family went over and above to make our stay enjoyable and make sure we had the best time possible. They have truly created a slice of heaven in the Cotswolds and it's an excellent spot to explore the Cotswolds from. Our cottage, the Chestnut, had the hot tub overlooking the pond area which was a perfect place to unwind and watch out for wildlife after a day of exploring. There is lots to do at the farm itself with woodland to explore and lots of activities such as croquet, archery and games room, you will definitely not get bored! Truly recommend and will definitely go back!

We stayed 4 nights in Chestnut which has the hot tub with beautiful views. Beautiful estate with plenty to explore and also has a games room plus outdoor space. Lovely orchard with an abundance of apple and pear trees which we could pick along with the lovely raspberry bushes so had fresh fruit each morning. The cottage is well equipped and the owners have thought of everything. They have got it just right as not intrusive but there if you need them. You will relax from the moment you arrive. It was hard to leave and will be returning as soon as we can. A great find and a perfect position to explore the beautiful Cotswolds.

drive in switch off

Nothing happens very fast here was Mon's welcome statement and in a very good way he was completely accurate. You can properly wind down here and the accommodation and facilities were wonderful. Everything you could want in terms off self catering (to a very high standard) and even though it rained for the whole time we were there it was still wonderful. Hot tub morning and evening's was perfect and you are spoilt for good places to eat and visit, Will be returning soonest Im sure Kev + Naomi

Far from normal

This was our forth visit to Heath Farm and the third in Chesnut. Our first three visits took place around 10 to 12 years ago. The whole place is just amazing! The accommodation is beyond clean, beyond idyllic, beyond homely, and probably beyond everything you’ve seen in accommodation of this type. David and Nena still live and run heath Farm and are now well into theirs 80s, and this life obviously suits them as they are both active in running the farm with the help of their family. On the surface little had changed since our last visit but all the appliances had been replaced, a beautiful walk in shower had replaced the bath and the cottage now has its own hot tub which looks over the valley towards the lake. This is perfectly placed to visit the towns of The Cotswolds and other attractions in the area ( don’t miss crocodiles of the world attraction) How the Barbours have kept this place as perfect as they have is testament to how the whole place is presented. We will return as we can relax comfortably here. Absolutely no minus points at all. Complimentary cake, muesli and milk on arrival and absolutely fantastic hosts. We can throughly recommend chesnut cottage at Heath Farm. As an aside our first three visits were usually the first week in December, when my wife would bring an extra suitcase and we would vist towns during the day and buy Christmas presents, and in the evening she would wrap them and we would go home with a case full of gifts ready for Christmas.

Wonderful Stay, beautiful surroundings!

We have just returned from a stay at Chestnut Cottage and it was thoroughly wonderful. Every detail had been thought of and the booking process was so quick and easy. I loved being able to choose the cake and granola that were there on arrival and the choice of bedding. The kitchen was well appointed and we didn't want for anything (except kitchen foil but I may have missed it in the cupboards). The fire in the living room was a real delight. If I only had one slight quibble, the sofa wasn't particularly comfortable and perhaps needed some footstools to allow for lounging. The bathroom was extremely clean and the towels were fluffy. We particularly appreciated the robes and towels for the hot tub, which was also amazing. Again, if I had to make a suggestion it would be to provide plastic cups so you can safely take drinks to the hot tub. We used our recyclable coffee cups. We didn't get to use all the amenities and if we came back for a longer stay we would definitely explore the woodland and use the fishing lake. The only other minor comment I would make is that the upstairs cottage should perhaps not be let to children as there was some running about and noise which we could hear from Chestnut. But this was only on a few occasions and we couldn't hear it when watching TV. All in all a wonderful stay and the quality of the cottage is exceptional. I hope we will be back!

Perfect Thanksgiving Getaway

We rented out the entire heath farm Property and My family stayed in the Chestnut cottage. We asked Abi to unlock the secret wardrobe door so we could flow freely between ours and Cobnut as my sister was staying in Cobnut. The accommodation was incredible, they had absolutely everything we could need in the kitchen, which was so helpful as we were hosting Thanksgiving for family that was visiting from the US. The beds were comfy, blackout curtains and shutters amazing (major bonus!!), it was so cozy. The team was so welcoming and accommodating. They thought of everything. It’s such a beautiful property and we created such wonderful memories there, I look forward to returning again in the future!

A perfect location to recharge!

Just wow! Beautiful location and a property that has everything you could wish for. Cozy, luxury, beautiful. Incredible views from the hot tub, and then time to curl up on the sofa in front of the fire. The little touches like bedding choice, cake, flowers and milk make it extra special. Thank you!
