La maison de vacances idéale! Cette spacieuse maison de 3 chambres est seulement une courte distance en vélo de la plage, et dispose d'une piscine privée avec cascade d'eau, une grande terrasse et véranda, et offre des vues imprenables sur n ° 3 du chenal et les lagunes de Turtle Point.
Chargé avec le charme du littoral sud, 123 Turnberry présente un plan d'étage ouvert spectaculaire à la flambée des hauts plafonds, et une abondance de fenêtres qui produisent une atmosphère lumineuse et relaxante. Il existe de nombreuses zones de rassemblement bien aménagées et des espaces confortables pour répondre à vos besoins - une pièce principale, qui bénéficie d'un confortable canapé et fauteuils club en coupe, et une grande télévision à écran plat, d'un den / étude avec bibliothèque pour profiter un peu de temps calme, et un 2ème étage zone qui offre une vue aussi bien assis. Et si vous devez, il y a un bureau privé de se faufiler dans un certain temps de travail. Ce bureau a un lit gigogne qui se transforme en 2 lits jumeaux. Le sous-sol dispose d'une table de ping-pong et espace pour se détendre.
La cuisine entièrement équipée dispose chaud armoires sur mesure avec comptoirs en granit, 2 lavabos mis à jour, un réfrigérateur surdimensionné, refroidisseur de vin séparé et machine à glaçons, élargi île offre des sièges pour quatre, et ouvre sur un espace salle à manger agréable qui peut accueillir jusqu'à dix.
La maison offre également beaucoup d'espace de vie en plein air. La véranda est juste à côté de la cuisine et est encore un autre refuge pour prendre des vues panoramiques, y compris beaux couchers de soleil. La piscine et la terrasse sont idéales pour une après-midi de divertissement en plein air ou une soirée tranquille à écouter le son apaisant de la cascade de la piscine. La piscine mesure environ 12 pieds de large et 25 pieds de long.
123 Turnberry peut accueillir une famille nombreuse ou une famille élargie. La première suite étage maître dispose d'un lit king-size, une grande télévision à écran plat, baies vitrées qui donnent sur le terrain de golf et le lagon, et offre un accès direct à la zone du pont et la piscine. Il dispose d'une salle de bain privée avec baignoire et grande douche à l'italienne, lavabo double, dressing et beaucoup d'espace pour en faire sentir comme à la maison.
A l'étage, les 2e et 3e chambres disposent de deux lits doubles dans chaque chambre (4 lits au total), et chaque chambre a sa propre télévision et salle de bain privée - une salle de bain comprend une douche de plain-pied généreux, tandis que l'autre accueille les plus jeunes avec un douche et combinaison de baignoire.
La maison est située sur un cul-de-sac dans l'exclusif Vanderhorst Plantation, où vous pourrez profiter des chaises berçantes sur le porche ombragé et regarder les enfants jouer à des jeux.

Great time, great house!
Easy to get to the beach. Clean house with great pool and a kitchen that was fully stocked with anything you would need for cooking! Highly recommend and we would stay here again.

We loved staying on Turnberry Drive! The house is very spacious and the pool is wonderful with a view! Very convenient to get to the beach. Ping pong table is a great touch!

Best spring break house
This house was perfect for two families. Spacious, quiet, and lots of amenities - gorgeous golf course view, beautiful sparkling pool, ping pong table and a comfortable screened porch. Beds were really comfy. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. Our kids enjoyed the selection of games and puzzles.
The location was great for golf and biking and a short walk or bike ride to the beach. We will definitively stay here again and Susie / Kiawahbyowner was so easy to work with.

Unfortunately, the guests arrived on a Friday evening to discover the first floor unit wasn't cooling. (it had been working earlier that morning). We were able to send out a tech the next morning and he repaired the AC and it was cooling when he left. The guests waited until Sunday evening to call us to say it was broken again, so we lost a day to try to resolve the problem. It turns out that we had to replace the AC unit which took a couple of days, but we were able to get some window units in the home to help with the heat. We did refund 1/2 of the total rent due to this unexpected problem.

Wonderful Family Home
We love the layout, location, and hospitality of this home and the agent/owners. The layout of the home is well suited to a family that likes to spend time together, and the location within Vanderhorst is optimal with ease of access via alley of Oaks to the ocean. The BEST thing about this home though is the agent, Susie. In working with Susie you feel like you have an advocate for you the renter, which makes a vacation truly one that allows you to focus on your family should anything go wrong. 5 Star Experience!

Family time
Our stay on Turnberry was a wonderful respite from the current world chaos. Quiet. Relaxing. Everything we needed. Plenty of space to gather and talk and play games or swim in the pool, and lots of places to get some quiet time. Bike rides to the beach were easy and frequent. Suzie took care of all of our needs and responded to requests quickly and professionally. Love my time on Kiawah.

Our 4th time at 123
This was our 4th stay at 123 Turnberry and I challenge a family to find another home on the island that is in as great of a location/setting, with the open layout for family, and backyard pool/golf course view. Add to all of it, Susie! She's a tremendous manager for the private owners of this home. Our only ask as a family who loves this home is that if you rent it, please treat it with care as if it's your own home. As for us, we'll be back, again and again and again!

A favorite for our family on Kiawah Island!
Our October 2017 visit was our 2nd to this home within 2017. This home is a favorite for our family, in that its location (behind the second gate, right off of Flyway, with the pool overlooking a fairway on Turtle Point) is about as great as you can get. Taking it a step further is Susie; her correspondence, communication, assistance, everything, is top level! The kitchen and living room is open, which makes for great family connection within the primary area of the home. Bedrooms are comfortable, each with their own full bathroom. We have run, skateboarded, and ridden to the beach, which is a simple and direct route via the Alee of Oaks, and takes, at most, about 8 minutes (via skateboard as slowest mode). Our family will continue to come back to this home annually, as it has been everything we not just need, but want, in our Kiawah rental destination, and is supported by Susie, who is a great and honest property manager.

House exceeded our expectations!
We come to Kiawah every year for two weeks, this was our first time staying in this house and the accommodations were perfect! The layout of the house with the large bright kitchen and adjoining family room was great for cooking and hanging out. There is a large wine refrigerator and a separate icemaker which we loved. The kitchen is fully stocked which was appreciated as we cooked nearly every night. The master bedroom and bathroom was very nice, as are the two upstairs bedrooms each with two queen size beds and separate bathrooms. There is an additional daybed with a trundle in the office on the first floor which could accommodate additional guests. We played a lot of ping-pong in the basement downstairs, our teenage children enjoyed that. We also spent a lot of time hanging out in the lovely screened-in porch and on the deck by the pool. The beach is a simple eight minute bike ride away, we went just about every day. The view of the golf course from the pool deck is spectacular. The house was very clean, this will be our new go-to house for future visits to the island, thank you for making it available to rent.

August 2020 Family Vacation
We rented this home for our family of 6 (grandparents and 2 kids). This home has a great location just off Turtle Point Golf Club on Kiawah Island. It has wonderful views of the golf course and the pool and screened in porch are really the highlight of the house. My wife and I own a vacation rental property in CA so we know what it is like to be both owners and renters.
While this home has a great location and pool option, the rest of the house really needs an update. The kitchen and one of the upstairs bathrooms were renovated and have nice features. However, all of the furniture, carpets, etc are not only dated, but pretty stained and dirty (especially the main family room). the home was built in 1991 and much of the original carpet and furniture are likely from the 90's or early 2000's. The owners really need to spend about $30-$50k on new furniture, carpets in the bedrooms and a good deep cleaning. One of the bedspreads was soiled (looked like dried blood). In our rental unit we replace all of the bedding every two years and have it professionally cleaned each season. If something is stained like that, then we remove it. Plain and simple. Is this house worth renting again? . . . Questionable, but the owners need to pay a little more attention to this property. If they do, it would be a really fantastic rental. Susie the property manager was very communicative and provided helpful information and a very smooth check-in process.

We ask potential guests to check out the 5 star reviews we have received from other renters the summer of 2020. In September 2020 the interior of the home is being repainted. During 2021 two of the bathrooms were completely renovated. New carpet was installed in the upstairs bedrooms in 2022. The pictures on the VRBO listing reflect the home accurately. Perfect late summer escape from 2020 craziness
Kiawah is a dream vacation spot and we were pleased to return to the island for a week vacation by staying at this property. From our initial inquiry through check-out, communication was incredibly easy and straight forward.
The online images are representative of the property, with the first floor having a spacious kitchen with high end appliances that were great for cooking meals in (since many of the restaurants are still not opened or with limited take-out service). The open layout of the kitchen into the living room has amazing views from sunrise through sunset out the expansive back door / windows (fantastic photos with the scenic pool / waterfall).
As for the pool, it has doors that open to it from the living room, master suite, and kitchen. The waterfall is on a timer, which for our toddler, provided a lot of excitement to watch for when it would turn on / off. Having a toddler, we definitely had some concerns about water safety. Each door to the pool area has a safety alarm for adults to bypass, which eased our concerns and we were able to fully relax. The pool is large enough for all four adults + child to be in the pool and not feel cramped at all.
The first floor master suite was spacious with walk-in closet and large master bath and the office (which has a futon/couch/trundle type bed -- perfect for us to be on the same floor with our young child). The upstairs has two large bedrooms each with its own full bath. This was perfect for the rest of our family members as we each had our own space.
The basement was a great informal hang-out spot during the peak heat/humidity times of the day. It was fun to run around in the basement (toddlers enjoy doing circles) and playing a quick game of ping pong. It was exactly like many other Kiawah basements -- nothing special, an expansive storage area turned into something functional, which was great for us.
The home location was great, the bike trail (we rented bikes) is a straight shot to beach access trail #32 and an easy ride to many other attractions such as the multiple marsh towers. The beaches had few others and it was nice to have our own space.
The evenings were serene and each night we were able to enjoy hanging out on the back deck / pool area and just listen to the great nature sounds found on Kiawah. We were surprised at the lack of bugs outside at night, so make sure you enjoy this wonderful aspect of the home as well as everything else -- Cannot wait to return!

Amazing Home for our Vacation
Our stay at 123 Turnberry was absolutely perfect. From the beginning, Susie was prompt with her delivery of contracts and other paperwork. We received our check-in instructions, door codes and parking passes well ahead of time and they all worked without issues.
The home itself is very comfortable and functional. Other reviewers have stated that the home is a little outdated. While a couple of the rooms need some updating, the important parts of the house where we spent 90+% of our time were updated, comfortable and lovely. The kitchen was large and well equipped with almost everything we could have needed for cooking several meals for the family. The living room was large, open and a great place to relax at the end of the day. The living room TV worked for us though we could never figure out how to get the other TVs to work (not that we would have used them very much). The bedrooms were comfortable and clean, and the bathrooms all worked without issues. But the best part of the property for us was the pool and back deck area. The pool temperature was perfect and was the ideal distraction for our kids whenever they got restless and wanted something to do. The adults had room to mingle with the kids in the water, but the chaise lounges were a great place to relax and keep an eye on the kids while they swam.
Other amenities that we thought were great were the BBQ grill on the back pool deck and the ice maker in the kitchen. Not mentioned in the property description is that there is a washer and dryer in the home that we used mostly to dry towels at the end of the day. As mentioned the basement ping pong table was fun too.
It was difficult to determine how far we were from the beach, and Susie gave us a good estimate. I would HIGHLY recommend renting bikes to get to the beach as the walk is just under a mile each way and would take a while especially when hauling all of your gear. Our bike ride was flat and easy and took about 5 minutes. We also rented a towable bike trailer to haul chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc. There is bike parking close to the beach. There is not really a place to park a vehicle close to the beach so bikes are by far the best option. We used Seaside Cycles and were happy with them.
If I could offer suggestions for improvements, I would say that the living room A/V setup should be cleaned up and updated. Lots of messy equipment made it confusing to figure out. Bluetooth Speakers would be amazing.

Great week at Kiawah!
We loved this home and all it offered. I thought the house was even better than the listing - great location, beautiful pool, easy bike ride to the beach. Kitchen is well-stocked and the house is really comfortable - nice new washer and dryer, smart tv with Netflix, etc. The master bedroom is downstairs and other bedrooms are upstairs allowing for lots of privacy for all.
Susie was so helpful with bike rental companies, beach chair/umbrella rentals, grocery store info.
We can’t wait to come back!

We'll be back to 123 Turnberry Lane!
This home on Kiawah Island was perfect for my family from top to bottom. Clean, well equipped and decorated very nicely. The pool off the back deck was awesome for our little one and we enjoyed the quick bike ride to the beach each day. The golf course view didn't suck either.....Nothing negative to say and I must also applaud our agent, Susie Oringel. She is an absolute rock star and is there for you at every turn! This wasn't our first rodeo with her and won't be the last!

Beautiful Kiawah
We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house is beautiful and spacious. We enjoyed sitting on the deck enjoying the pool and beautiful view of the golf course. Big kitchen has everything you may need. The property owner and manager couldn't have been more responsive and professional. Thank you!

Great house!!! Looking forward to going back!
The layout of this house was ideal. Beautiful view from the main living space. The kitchen was very upscale and functional. Great space throughout the house! Loved the outdoor areas. We really enjoyed the pool and deck area joined to the screened porch. Perfect design for families with kids or multiple couples. Truly can't imagine anyone it wouldn't fit.
Sadly our trip was cut short due to Hurricane Mathew, so we were only there part of the week. The rental agent was great to work with. I can't wait to go back to this same house!
