this house is lovely, colorful, with many artisan features, multiple patios, a well-stocked kitchen, lovely views. during hotter months, the inability to have all night air conditioning may be difficult for those who are hot sleepers, but the proximity to town, views, ceiling fans, and positioning to take advantage of the sea breezes are good offsets.
A group of seven girlfriends from Anchorage, Alaska used this property for a long weekend getaway to celebrate a 37th birthday. Wow, was it so perfect. The quiet town. The easy access to trail running and mountain biking. The perfect beaches and snorkeling. The house provided an excellent kitchen for us to cook meals together and enjoy dining al fresco on the outdoor patio overlooking the ocean as whales were breaching. The stargazing and morning sunrises from the top roof deck was an added treat. We absolutely loved our host, Junior. He had everything we needed to have a good time: beach chairs, snorkel equipment, umbrellas, etc. We all fell in love with Cabo Pulmo and will definitely be back.
We LOVED staying at this house, and in Cabo Pulmo! It worked perfectly for our group of six for a week. We spent our time snorkeling, swimming, kayaking, watching whales, staring at the ocean from one of the many outdoor seating areas, watching the stars at night, hiking, doing puzzles, playing games, reading, and of course eating lots of fabulous food. Our host, Junior, set us up with everything we needed and more, and was super kind and helpful. Cabo Pulmo is quite a magical place for a low-key and relaxing vacation, and this house was wonderful. We slept soundly each night in the comfortable beds, and made great use of all of the kitchen supplies. We hope to return again in the future!!
We had a lovely time, we will definitely return to this property and tell friends about it ! Junior the house manager was friendly and knows everything about the area . It is such a special area and this is a unique and special home ! We really loved the art and the sound of the waves crashing at night . Our only sorrow was not having more days at this property . I personally love roosters waking me up at dawn ! They sing one into the morning . The sunset and sunrise from roof were magnificent .
Wonderful and beautiful Mexican house. Ideal location, beautiful view, quiet neighbourhood, 200m from the beach, helpful property manager. We'll be back!
This is our fifth trip to Cabo Pulmo and our second stay at Pat's lovely property. We can't say enough about this place -- quiet, spacious, steps to the beach, beautifully maintained, classic Mexican style, huge kitchen, comfortable bed, and smack in the heart of Cabo Pulmo. Perfect for just a few people or for a large group. Junior is a fantastic manager and a wealth of information. Lovely, lovely place. Can't wait to come back next year!
This is a wonderful property with a beautiful view from the upstairs area (bedroom/kitchen/living area). It was absolutely wonderful to wake up to a gorgeous sunrise!
We enjoyed the wonderful views from the home. The caretakers were very nice and helpful with any questions we had. The beach is easy to access, the kitchen was fully stocked for use as well. The top deck on the roof made for amazing star gazing.
Great location, that provides lots of flexibility for big family.
Thanks for a great week! This wonderful house gave us a respite from the daily hustle and bustle of the states, and was close to all our friends during our stay. The caretakers were super responsive, and we had everything we needed. Thank you!!
We visited in July and it was pretty hot but there is usually some kind of breeze in the afternoon and evening. The house is great, we slept 8 people (4 adults + 4 teenagers). Fantastic views of the Sea of Cortez, nice large kitchen, very close to the beach. If you go in mid-summer the downstairs rooms are going to be a little warm even with fans on full blast but for me that's not a big deal. I believe you can run A/C if you want, but for an additional cost. Be sure to stock up on food in San JoseâSoriana is close to the airportâbefore driving up to Cabo Pulmo. You can also get basic amenities and beer in La Ribera which is 20-30 minutes away. Food at Caballero has gotten really good. Nancy's is now closed. La Palapa is great but not always open.
If you're a surfer like me, you'll have to drive to get good waves, but it is possible to surf in Cabo Pulmo sometimes. The outer reefs look surfable but it's a long paddle and I've never seen anyone on them. However last week on a hurricane swell with hard south winds I surfed the northern corner of CP beach (they call it Cerrito) which I've never even seen break before. Super fun novelty wave.
Finally there are now a ton of snorkel and dive crews in town, I recommend supporting the local outfits, they're all pretty good. We had great luck swimming with schools of manta rays and big-eyed jacks. It was amazing. Enjoy!
This house conforms to ADA regulations. A wonderful discoveryâall are welcome. It is painted in desert colors, clean, and comfortable. There are two sitting areas and two well equipped kitchens. The patios and dipping pool are delightful. We especially loved the star-gazing patio. The house is surrounded by lovely gardens, balconies, and birds. The balconies, windows, and patios as well as the roof provide a 360 degree view. Henry and the women who cook and tidy up are all congenial and helpful. Beach access is a two-minute walk. The house is on the edge of the small town, convenient to restaurants, the convenience store, and the dive shops. Idyllic!
This was the perfect place for my husband, son and I to stay for a week to escape the gloomy Seattle winter. The home is beautiful with views of the water, the mountains and wildlife. Very quiet. Excellent kitchen. Just a short skip to the local restaurants. We highly recommend this place and will return again for our fifth trip to Cabo Pulmo next year!
We loved all of the decks and outdoor spaces. Awesome stargazing. Great afternoon breezes. Incredible, well stocked kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
My family of 4 came down for 4 days and we really enjoyed the property. It is well located just 100 feet from the beach, there are a couple little restaurants down the street. We specifically ate at El Caballero. Jorge there is great and the food was good and they also sell a few staple grocery items. The property is very unique and has many "secret spots" to dine and relax. The kitchen was well appointed. Everywhere you turn is a great view. Finding the light switch for the right light was an adventure. Pilu, caretaker of the home, was very welcoming and super helpful. We even went diving with her. I recommend this home.
