We loved this villa, great views, great vibes, great staff. Kadek and Kiki were super helpful and easy to contact. Highly recommend. Lots to explore just make sure you know who to pay when going to waterfalls.
Great Spacious cabin with nice garden. A long trip from the airport and very grateful to have Dewa as driver ss the traffic and roads require experience. The road up to the cabin is really quite poor so I wouldn't want to drive anything less than a rugged car or 4x4.. November is rainy season and we had storms all day most days so we didn't get to see much out and about..
I have stayed at this property numerous times and it never disappoints. Such a relaxing spot, with a homely feel. We will definitely be back again soon.
We only managed to stay 2 nights here, however would definitely book again. The surrounding scenery is breathtaking and the place itself has such charm - a perfect getaway
Wonderful cabin at then end of the road. Great views of the lake and town. Walk to the lake through the fields of vegetables, enjoyed the porch and sunsets.
I always enjoy coming to this wonderful house. It has great energy and makes everyone happy. Kadek is always a delight. We will definitely be back. Thanks for everything.
What a view to wake up to every morning!
They house is neat and tidy. Has everything that you need for a short stay with enough in the area to keep you busy for a few days.
Beautiful Mountain stay villa with a wonderful view.
As always I had a another wonderful stay in this villa. It was nice and cozy at night and is always refreshing to wake up in the cool mountain air with such a wonderful view. It is well organized and the lady helping named Kadek is so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. What a treat it is to stay here!
It was lovely to enjoy the cool weather in what felt like an alpine chalet. The views and the setting were delightful and we enjoyed our walks out from the home. The hill on the way back helped work off some of our excess food. We didnât find any great places to eat so grabbed some supplies and cooked in the kitchen. Kadek was welcoming and explained how things worked. The location allows for an early visit to the temple before the hoards of people arrive. Due to the location some wildlife can be expected but that is all part of the experience. All in all an enjoyable stay in a very unique home and setting.
The setting of the house is lovely, garden is beautiful, checking in was easy and the housekeeper was very helpful. However, we cut our stay short as you must have your own transport else itâs not a very convenient place to stay. The shower was very temperamental, kitchen was not easy to use, otherwise, the views were beautiful.
All aspects of the stay were excellent from initial booking to ongoing communication to arranged transportation. The accommodation itself was very relaxing - spacious yet cozy - with plenty of room inside and out. The picturesque views from the house were stunning - almost hypnotic at times, in particular when clouds clung to lake below. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, especially after a long day of exploring the amazing area. Beyond the above comments, the daily contagious smile of Kadek made for a memorable experience!
I booked this for a quiet stay for almost two weeks. The property is wonderfully well-run and maintained, and the pictures above almost undersell how pretty the grounds and view are. If you are planning an extended stay, definitely be sure to stock the kitchen, and itâs probably a good idea to have your own transportation available. Lots of beautiful nature stuff reasonably close by, too. Everyone involved with the property was super helpful and communicative.
We had a wonderful stay - even though it was raining on and off during our time in the mountains. Thankfully, the cabin's driver and guide Dewa knew exactly where it wasn't raining and took us there. We had wonderful adventures while staying in this cabin and the cabin felt cozy to return to no matter the weather. It was clean and the kitchen was nicely stocked. It is up a rather large hill so not walkable, but we didn't find that to be an issue because Dewa was available whenever we needed. Communication with owners was easy and they were accessible for any questions before and during booking.
We were in constant appreciation of the Villa, the view, the ever changing atmosphere, the art that made the Villa extra special, and the great kitchen where we cooked for several nights.
As artists, we will always keep this villa alive in our memories as one extraordinarily magical place.
The one thing that was challenging was the steep hillside and walking down to the main road.
We used a driver for the most part and that worked great.
We arrived never having been in Bali before, property was better than expected in terms of view and gardens. Lovely house. I would have loved to see screen on the windows so that you could keep windows open and not worry about the bugs and to also keep the air moving and fresh. As an older home even though well maintained it did have some musty smells and open windows would have helped this. The staff were great, house keeper and driver were really wonderful and the owners were very helpful and responsive. Would recommend it to any0one wanting a peaceful getaway.
We really loved the villa and the experience. Fantastic views from inside and outside the villa, lovely garden to relax. Spacious home, kitchen. Breakfast overseeing the lake/valley. My wife and I could imagine us spending weeks there to relax, buy cheap fresh veggies at the local market after morning hike/bicycle ride, read on the balcony, cook a bit. Great hiking in surrounding areas, gorgeous waterfalls. More pleasant temperatures compared to hot Kuta. Friendly staff Kadek helped us wonderfully, she cleaned the house and dishes daily. Helped us arrange a local driver and get familiar with the area. Review from an active family with two teenage sons.
We spent 10 days at this lovely villa. Itâs on the rustic side, but itâs been well kept, the gardens are lush and well-groomed, the location is perfect, and the communication with the owner, manager, and housekeeper was perfect. The setting is peaceful, and youâre surrounded by beauty. My husband and I stayed in the queen bedroom downstairs and were very comfortable. The housekeeper, Kadek, welcomed us with her warm Balinese smile, and she attended to the house every day. We mentioned we were impressed with the green lettuce growing in the fiends around the villa, and the next day she brought us the most beautiful lettuce weâd ever seen. After paying too much for strawberries on the roadside, we talked to Kadek, and she told us she could get a much better price, so we gave her money, and the next day she brought us a kilo of delicious strawberries. We had an issue with towels not being clean, but we just mentioned it to the manager and they took care of it immediately. We also had issues with the dongle for the internet - it stopped working even though weâd paid three times to renew data, but the manager resolved it in a timely manner. Itâs a bit challenging if you donât have a car as there are no motorcycle taxis up in Bedugal, but Kadek can give you info on how to hire a driver. We felt the price was a bit higher than we wanted to pay so we ended up walking a lot, but it was fun exploring the surrounding area. We had a fabulous time and would definitely return!
Cool mountain air, ideal base for trekking or exploring this unique area of mountains and waterfalls, taking wooden canoes on the lakes, canyoning and visiting coffee, clove and other spice plantations.
