À propos de cet hébergement

Maison de fin de terrasse avec des chambres de bonne taille et un petit jardin avec un accès facile aux promenades de la chaîne et à la magnifique côte jurassique classée au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. La maison est à environ 1 km de Lulworth Cove, dans le village de West Lulworth, avec Corfe Castle et Swanage à l'est et Weymouth à l'ouest. Bien situé pour des excursions d'une journée vers de nombreuses attractions locales, notamment Monkey World, le musée du réservoir, le port de Poole et l'île Brownsea.
Confortable et pratique, dans le but d'offrir un hébergement familial abordable. Rez-de-chaussée rénové en 2017, comprenant une nouvelle cuisine-salle à manger bien équipée. Salon familial avec (petit écran) TV et lecteur DVD. Douche et WC en bas et salle de bain à l'étage avec douche. Wifi. Literie fournie.
Du samedi au samedi, location uniquement en juillet et août. Les séjours plus courts sont les bienvenus le reste de l'année. Tarifs hors saison offerts.

belle maison

grande maison avec un jardin très agréable.située a 20mn de la plage de galet par chemin piétonnier seule bémol, le manque de volet ou rideaux opaque, on est réveiller tôt par le jour

Comfortable house in amazing location

We loved our stay at the cottage. We will definitely love to come back. Lovely kitchen and comfortable beds. I loved the 1970s architecture of the house.

Perfect location - close to beach

We have a lovely stay at this property, it had everything we needed and easy to park. Road was lovely and quiet with amazing views across to the fields. We left the car and had lovely strolls to and from Lulworth Cove, a truly wonderful place. We also visited Durdle Door which as beautiful as the photos you see. The local buses (Jurassic Coaster, open top buses) were accessible just at the end of the road and easy to get to Weymouth and Swanage. Looking forward to our next visit to the Jurassic Coast next summer, hopefully a longer stay.

Spacious Property

Very large wardrobe hanging space and plentiful supply of hangers. Great to have two wc's and two showers. Very good water pressure, providing a pleasurable shower experience. Super dishwasher. Appreciated cleaning products being available. Very interesting books.

Fantastic family holiday home

We’ve had a great holiday in west lulworth! The house is spacious, perfect for families. Kitchen is complete. It could be a bit more cleaned in the house, although the bed linen was fresh. We had lovely weather and visited lots of beaches in the area. tyndale and Kimmeridge were favourite. Tankmuseum and monkeyworld are Nice to visit. Thank you Angela and family for this lovely stay!

Lovely place, best for families

We booked the property a second time. It is very neat and clean. The rooms are spacious, perfect for families. The kitchen is very well equipped, ideal for self-catering. Nothing was missing. Ideal base for walks to beautiful Lulworth Cove, Mupe Bay, Durdle Door and Man O' War Beach. Many thanks to Angela! Such a nice place, lovely!

Gemütliches Haus in bester Lage zu vielen Ausflugszielen

Ein gemütliches Häuschen mit allem, was man braucht. Die Küchenausstattung ist mehr als ausreichend (auch wenn vor unserem Aufenthalt die Spülmaschine kaputt ging und nicht repariert werden konnte). Die Lage am Ortsrand von West Lulworth ist sehr ruhig, der Küstenwanderweg und Lulworth Cove sind super zu Fuß erreichbar, auch die Touristenattraktion Durdle Door mit schönen Stränden ist quasi vor der Haustür. Auch ein netter Pub ist nur 5 min zu Fuß entfernt. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr nett, sie hat immer schnell geantwortet. Wir haben uns als 5köpfige Familie wohl gefühlt.

Toller Ort für schöne Ausflüge

Wir haben uns im gemütlichen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und hatten in der direkten Nachbarschaft eine ganz hilfsbereite Dame. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Ort bietet fantastische Wanderungen zu bezaubernden Küstenabschnitten.

Great location

We really enjoyed our stay. House location is fab and inside was very clean and comfy, it's more than enough for family of 4. Kitchen is newly done and fully equipped, same as bathroom. All in all, we had a lovely time and would stay again if visit the area.

A cracking property in an awesome location.

It's a lovely house with everything you need for a comfy stay. Location is almost unbeatable with footpaths opposite leading up to the range walks, and down to the Cove. Very friendly and helpful owner and neighbours. Great pub at the end of the road. Would definitely return.

A super little cottage in a fabulous location

The cottage is warm and cosy with a terrific kitchen and in a quite fabulous location. Walks are direct from the door to Lulworth Cove and beyond - so it a a super place for those who love the outdoors. The check in via the owner online and the next door neighbour in person , was easy and it was super to have the neighbour there should we need it (not that we did but she sweetly checked everything was all right for us). Also it gave us flexibility on time of arrival as we travelled from London after work. The beds were comfortable and the power shower upstairs was great. Also parking outside the house was easy and stress free. Overall a great , good value property that I cannot recommend highly enough.

Great location!

We had a lovely holiday at Angela's house. It's in a great location for exploring the area. The house is spacious, clean, warm and comfortable and as described. There is building work opposite but as we were out every day this didn't worry us. There was good communication with the host and friendly neighbours. Enjoyed our stay!

This property is in a quiet residential area, with access to the Lulworth ranges and coast path on your doorstep. It is well equipped, spacious and clean.

Across the road was a building site. The parking was not on a level and I wrenched my shoulder unloading the car, I was in so much pain we left early. There was no remote for the television and the oven Instructions just left me baffled. otherwise it was good

West Lulworth - holiday home review

We were pleased with the size and location of the property - perfect for our family of 4, and only a couple of minutes drive to the cove. There are lots of things to do in the area and plenty of family friendly pubs for dinner out in the evenings. The pub at the end of the road (Castle Inn) is less than a 5 min walk - very handy! There was building work going directly opposite the house where some new houses are being built, so there was some noise from this, however this didn't affect us as we were out for most of the day each day. The neighbours were really lovely people, always stopping for a chat (and helpful when we had issues with our roof box when we were leaving!) The main double bed was very comfortable and we slept well (more comfy than our bed at home!) The decor was a bit dated (we knew this when when we booked) and upstairs could do with a freshen up - blackout/thicker curtains would be a nice addition (the sun woke us up early!), along with summer duvets as it was very warm with heavy duvets in August! Certain areas of the house would benefit from a more thorough clean. The TV was small however we didn't actually watch any TV so wasn't an issue for us, there is WiFi so you can used your laptop etc. for entertainment. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit the area again in the future.

Vous êtes reçu par Angela Matthews Siegrist

We are a British/Swiss Family living in Switzerland. Angela moved to Switzerland in 1995 when she married. Our house in Lulworth remains a much loved English home base where we enjoy spending time in UK and is close to Angela's father near Bournmouth.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Lulworth is our English home which we visit as often as we can in our holidays. We love to spend time in this beautiful area and are very happy to let the house so that others can explore this region.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The house is located in a quiet residential dead-end road with views over fields and with direct access on foot to The Ranges, which when open at weekends and during school holidays have wonderful coastal walks and views. The house itself is not of any achitectural interest and it doesn't have any special features, but makes a great base for family holidays and short breaks in this wonderful part of the country.
