Le condominium Tides est situé directement sur la magnifique plage d'Hollywood. Des immeubles jumeaux de 16 étages se dressent sur la plage avec deux piscines chauffées, deux centres de remise en forme, une salle de cinéma, un yoga, un spa, un café, un salon, un billard et un service de voiturier 24h / 24. Les jardins tropicaux luxuriants disposent de 4 cabanes Tiki, de salons extérieurs et d'un accès direct à la plage. Les unités spacieuses offrent des balcons vitrés, des vues sur l'océan et l'intracoastal. Le Westin Hotel & Resort est situé à proximité immédiate du complexe, à proximité du quartier des divertissements d'Hollywood Boardwalk, du complexe GulfStream Horse Racing Casino et du centre commercial Adventura, tous à quelques minutes seulement. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Great location and nice beach and pool access. Loved the balcony and the beach toys and boogie boards available for use in the room. Would stay again!

Apartment could be cleaner. Window sills and door could be cleaner. Paint needed in spots also. Also balcony chairs not comfortable at all. But all in all still better than staying in a hotel room and had everything we needed.

Upon check in we had to go to a different building to get key fobs (which were an additional (60) for access to our building. Our condo was run down; mold and wall rot from prior water damage from the air conditioning located in the ceiling. We had a flood issue water running down wall in hallway standing water on floor. This condo is out dated and needs work, not just a bandage, but renovations. A book/guide with Check in/out rules, places to visit and restaurants binder would be helpful. Went to do laundry and a laundry card was needed to run the machines. The place to get the laundry card was in the other building, which was closed. Terrible communication from the owner, other than the return call regarding the flood issue. The upside was complimentary passes to the beach chairs and umbrellas.

Great location, checkin was a little long and the property people were not very friendly. Thats really all the negative we had for our stay. The property was clean and the apt was very well stocked and there was plenty of things for the beach in the closets. Beds were great. Slept very well. Not a lot of noise. Great Views. We would certainly stay again!!!

Property Managers are awesome! The condo is awesome! People at the front desk are not very friendly, rest of the staff is not the friendliest, but it is worth staying. Between the Condo, Property Manager you work with it is worth it all.

Christmas Vacation

We spent the week after Christmas here. Checkin was easy and everyone was very nice. The location was perfect, right on the beach and near everything. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The beach chairs and wagon came in very handy. We would stay here again!

Great location for fishing & beach

Great communication with owner/manager when needed. Place was clean and comfortable. Nice little deli on first floor for breakfast/lunch and also sold wine/beer. Quick Uber ride to Walmart for supplies.

The property is in an excellent location, with both the pool and beach access being major highlights.However, several aspects of the stay were less positive. The additional fees, while disclosed, felt excessive—particularly the 30 charge per two adults for mandatory fobs that must be returned, as well as the need to purchase a laundry card before adding credits. Both items can only be obtained in another building, and the office operates only during standard business hours, which was inconvenient.Common areas could benefit from more attention. Elevator wait times were consistently long, and the hallways were in noticeable need of a deep clean.The condo itself was functional but quite dated, and it appeared that deep cleaning and routine maintenance are not prioritized. There were visible marks on doors, walls and fans, a tub that did not drain properly, partially blocked shower heads, and a fire alarm with a dead battery that beeped throughout our stay.In past VRBO stays, basic cooking staples left by previous guests have been helpful. While not required, even a small amount of cooking oil would make short stays more comfortable.Overall, the location is excellent, but improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and guest convenience would significantly enhance the experience.

Wonderful place to stay!

Great communication with Tina , the owner, and with Patricia, the property manager led to an easy check-in process. The unit was just as described: very neat & comfortable. Enjoyed the beach & pool with easy access in & out. Everyone was very friendly, especially the security guard. He was always so pleasant as he greeted us each day on our way out to the pool/beach. We will definitely be back.

Nice area and beach

The condo itself is older/dated along with the furnishings, but! It has everything you need, it was clean and the beds are comfortable! The building is dated too and the gym could use some updating as well but, it was nice to have something. The pool is nice, right on the beach, cute little coffee shop and in a good location! For the price, certainly a great deal! It’s about a 3-5 min drive to Hollywood Beach Broadwalk which was a lot of fun! Lots of restaurants, shops and live music.I saw a lot of complaints about check in before we arrived, but we had no issues. Just see valet first before you go to check in and bring your whole party to get wristbands. I also saw people complaining about bug problems but we had no issues in our building or unit. The hosts were very accommodating and had a good response time! Thanks for a good stay!

Great view!

The condo has a great view. I was initially concerned it didn’t fully face the beach however you can see the beach and the inter coastal with all the beautiful boats so we really enjoyed that aspect. The pool area is nice with lots of seating and the beach is good although the beach was closed 1 day for maintenance. Not very walkable area although the Hyde resort next door has 2 nice restaurants which is great. Condo was very clean, the cleaning crew was great and very accommodating letting us in early to drop off our bags. Owner was responsive and friendly. Would stay here again!

Beatific Spotless Tides Condo Apartment

This condo is AWESOME! It is exactly like you see in the pictures. The beds and linens are luxurious which is important to me since I have back issues. The views as stated are both sunrise and sunset. Really just nicely renovated. The property and pools are wonderful with plenty of lounge chairs both sun and shaded seating. They have a cute little deli type eatery w freshly prepared food and last minute grocery items and the bring in fresh empanadas for an afternoon or late night snack that are delicious. My wife and I went with another couple and it was just a fantastic and perfect place for 4 adults looking for an escape

Good stay

Overall it was good. Condo was clean. It was late when we arrived so registration was closed. It was difficult and stressful. Description advertised 2 chairs and an umbrella at the beach but you had a buy a voucher at the registration office. Service elevator was down and at certain times of the day you had to wait a while for a ride down to the lobby.

The reviews said everything was with8n walking distance. Everything is at least 1.5 to 2 mile walk. We also disnt have enought.p. in our place or papertowls . Only 2 wash cloths per bathroom. 1 for each person for 5 days. For as much as we spent you would think they would leave you enough for the wk. Also the key ards were $30 each instead of $20 like they quoted us.

Terrific location to enjoy the beach

This condo was great for a fun weekend away with friends. It is spacious, clean, and located only a few minutes from great food and music. The beach is right behind the building, and the pool area is relaxing. That said, the process for check-in is tedious. The owner and manager were helpful and provided excellent service, but there are many guidelines to follow regarding entry, parking, and maintenance. It was fine for a weekend with adults, but I would have found this frustrating if I was with my family. This is likely due to it being a heavily populated area, but that was notably irritating at times. The building staff was very regimented, and that stiff persona made me feel a bit guarded during my stay. So, overall I was pleased with the grounds but felt it lacked a welcoming atmosphere.

Hi Nick, thank you for your feedback. I always appreciate honest and valid opinions. I am sorry because of your not 100% satisfied experience. Unfortunately, the buildings management ( in that area) have their own rules and we can not do anything . I was complaining about some things with the management building but then I felt threatened in some way ...,with different things . I will try to point out different topics at the next board meeting . Registration, parking and so on are always a big issue even in hotels but I agree that I would love to have things more simplified regarding​ buldings rules&co, too. However, do not forget that we are here in South Florida and I have learned that without rules here a lot of people are trying to take advantage of almost everything so I guess they just try to keep everything under control and guests safe ( parking controls and fobs and guards in the pool area) which can seem a little irritating . I will try to figure out how to make check in process more smoothly and less tedious and to make our guests' stay more comfortable. Thank you ! Kindest Regards, Tina

Great overall vacation experience

This property is a great value for the area. The beach is fantastic and the unit comes with 2 beach lounge chairs and umbrella, set up daily by an attendant. In the unit was a wagon, extra beach chairs, boogie boards and toys. Many other guests were jealous of our wagon! The complex was clean and well managed, with no wild spring break college groups to deal with. Definitely a peaceful family atmosphere. The view of the intercoastal and ocean are great from the 11th floor unit. It's not super fancy and the unit/complex is a bit older than most other properties in the immediate area but it's also priced 3x's or more lower than most condos nearby - and the beach/ocean are the same! The pool area was clean and well maintained and the water was bathtub warm. We did not rent a car and had reasonably priced uber rides to nearby restaurants - including up to the Hollywood beach boardwalk which is exactly 2 miles north of the complex. My family had a wonderful vacation and would book again.

The location was good rooms were clean. However all the fees were not told before.

20$ for the fobs was highway robbery. $150 for cleaning also ridiculous. I usually pay $50. Lastly parking. Usually included in the price. Just put it all in and charge more expensive per night. So as you arrive you have to pay $35 for parking $150 for cleaning $40 for fobs and $300 deposit on appt and$20 deposit for parking. Cash only. Would've been nice to know. All the hidden fees were listed under notification not fees. So much subterfuge

Hi Elizabeth! The extra fees are under the descriptions and I have personally sent an email with them as usual.That are costs regarding the administration and I had to pay them too as a guest there. The deposits are no costs - you get them back if no damage or if ( in case of parking) you bring the valet card back to the administration.So you can not put that into the costs ' list. And a cleaning agency costs that ( and we do not keep any dollar of that). Probably you have paid 50 dollars for a non legal cleaning.( I prefer to have a legal agency and I guess most of the guests appreciate that) . however , you got the option to pay all that via paypal.It has not too be cash. I can remember that I asked you if you wish to cancel the reservation if you do not accept that. However, there are a lot of locations ( as well as guests) and next time please, read carefully everything . However thanks for the feed back even if not really motivated . I mean also negative feed backs are useful and help to change things but this one is not motivated .All the best!

Disappointed

We were very disappointed in the condo. The floors were very dirty and there were little black bugs in the bathroom and the one bedroom. I have never slept on beds and pillows that were so uncomfortable. The doors were dirty and beaten up. This condo was not worth the money. The shower curtain fell down twice and on the last day the hood over the stove fell down on one side. The property is not in walking distance to any restaurants so you need a car if you are staying there. There are a lot of extra charges for everything. We enjoyed the weather and there were fun things to do but it is an extremely busy area. The ocean view was beautiful and there was easy access to the pool and beach. However, I would not stay there again.

Hi Martha! I am sorry for you feeling that way. We have processional company cleaning the unit based on regulations . If the windows were dirty from outside it might have been due to storms or something similar and that can’t get clean asap . The beds and pillows are normal so if you might want luxury level then you were in the wrong place . I don’t know what was the issue with the shower curtain ( but maybe being more gentle with pulling and sliding the curtain??) and the hood is fox . I don’t know how it can fall down . Anyways anybody able to Google the address can also see that there are plenty of restaurants one can eat and that I’m walking distance . Plus there is the Hollywood vintage bus and the water taxi or Uber available too . The extra charges are the fob and the parking which is normal for this kind of condos . Honest Review

Ok people, here’s an honest review of the condo, from someone who stayed here for a solid week in July. Let me start with the pros. This condo is clean, and in good shape. It shows a little wear, but so does my house. It is very well stocked with towels (beach and bath) and plenty of blankets. The beds are comfortable and we easily slept all 6 of us, although our youngest made up a bed on the floor since they didn’t want to share. The keypad to get into the unit is easy to use. The pool area is very clean and was never crowded, we were always able to find a chair and the kids enjoyed the pool. The beach area was also never crowded, no matter what time of day we went down. The unit comes with two beach chairs, an umbrella, toys for the kids, even a small cooler. There is a little cafe just off the lobby area, great for a quick coffee, and also convenient to grab milk and toilet paper. Walmart is really close for grocery purposes. Cons: The check in process is a bit of a hassle, but as long as you expect it and have patience, it’s fine. Be sure to get to the office by at least 4:00 to check in and bring your whole party so they can get the bracelets to access everything. There need to be instructions on how to lock the keypad and also checkout instructions. Some things I would recommend- A toaster A pair of scissors A net for the kids to catch fish New pillows for the master bedroom Overall I give it 4 stars. We had fun.

Thank you dear Elizabeth for having taken time to review our property. I am sorry for the hassle regarding check in but the HOA management is very strict and owners can’t really do anything about their rules . Trying to make things work better though . Regarding keypad and check out : we have a property “ manager” who is supposed to give you all the instructions and help you with that . Scissors and spoons and glasses& ci are replaced frequently . It can be there was a check out just before you checked in and they had no time to check out everything.. I apologize for that . Usually guests ask for things they might need . Pillows have been bought last year . Anyways thank you for letting us know . We will replace them with new ones end of October . Thank you for having been our valued guest . BR

Disappointed !

Upon entering this condo, I was hit with a strong, horrible musty/mold smell. It was nauseating. Then, noticed buckling of one wall and shabbily repaired wall in the bathroom. Looks as if there was a water problem. Then, the vents were black with soot. In the second bedroom, the ceiling was black above the vent. I took pics of it. We also had a locked closet presumably filled with amenities such as toys, beach chairs and umbrella? Check in was a bit crazy because they couldn’t get their portable CC machine to work. Then, having to go to the other tower for parking validation was very inconvenient. It is not a smooth process! They (The Tides) also turned off the water, without any notice as we were getting ready for a family wedding. Nothing like bathing with bottled water. Another disturbing aspect was that the cleaning person came in as we were leaving and she brought in two rolls of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, a garbage bag and one pod for the dishwasher.- which is all that give you. She remade the beds that we slept in and didn’t change the sheets🤢 A family member rented a completely renovated 2 bedroom/bath condo, in the same complex that was impeccable and I paid more! The view was great as was the location. But this condo was such a disappointment and maybe the health department should be notified.

Vacances en famille

L'appartement est parfait pour une famille, avec ses 2 chambres et 3 lits, 2 salles de bains, cuisine complète et fonctionnelle. La vue sur la mer et sur le canal à partir du balcon est excellente. Accès à la plage et mer à partir de l'hôtel. Le point négatif est l'accueil qui se fait au receiving administration est complexe, nous avons cru que nous devrions trouver un autre hébergement tellement c'est complexe.

The unit has a wonderful view : intracoastal & ocean view and we can see both the sunrise and the sunset. The condo has direct access to the beach without crossing any street. The pools and the garden landscape are ones of the most beautiful in the area.

Take the elevator and you are in the garden and pool area, just open a gate and you are on the sandy beach. No need to drive to enjoy the sea and the beach.
