Une cabane confortable au début du Cambria

Le Bonny Cottage, l'une des cabanes originales de Cambria, est bien placé dans une charmante région affectueusement connue sous le nom de Happy Hill. Calme, privé, entouré d'arbres et de jardins, il se trouve à moins d'un mile des villages et de Moonstone Beach. Construit en 1923, ce chalet conserve son sens originel du charme et de l'histoire, tout en étant soigneusement aménagé pour un séjour confortable.
Il y a deux chambres avec des lits merveilleusement reposants (un roi, une reine) et des draps luxueux. Il y a une salle de bain principale ainsi qu'une salle d'eau attenante. Shampooing, revitalisant et autres articles de toilette et nécessités sont fournis.
Le salon paisible et intime dispose d'un foyer au gaz et de portes françaises qui s'ouvrent sur la lumière du soleil (ou la lumière des étoiles), avec une vue sur l'océan au-delà. Vous trouverez une large sélection de livres, ainsi que deux télévisions par câble et un lecteur DVD. Il faut mentionner que le décor change pour célébrer les saisons: automne, hiver, printemps et été, chacun à son tour.
Il y a une cuisine bien équipée avec verrerie, vaisselle, ustensiles de cuisine et fournitures de base de garde-manger. Selon la météo et votre humeur, il existe également des options de grillades et de repas en plein air.
Après avoir passé vos journées à explorer tout ce que Cambria et la côte centrale de la Californie ont à offrir, rentrez chez vous pour lire sous le vieux chêne massif, savourez un verre de vin ou une tasse de thé dans les jardins, regardez l'océan changer de couleur sur la terrasse ensoleillée ou asseyez-vous près du feu la nuit et écoutez les vagues ...

Wonderful!

This place is so cute! Very well done and decorated-large yard, great seating. So fun to come back to the house and have the ambience of all the candles. Love the history of this place. It’s immaculate and has very nice linens. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anybody.

Thanksgiving getaway

Our stay was great. Great location in a peaceful neighborhood. Cabin outfitted with all the goods. Only thing I can complain about was the bed wasn't comfortable in my opinion.

Long weekend getaway

This is a sweet, romantic step back in time. So many cozy and thoughtful touches throughout. Especially loved the candles on timers and the multiple spots to sit and enjoy the views. We will definitely be back.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the cottage—it exceeded all my expectations. The charming ambiance, coupled with the candles illuminating at 8 PM, made me feel right at home. It truly was a magical experience, incredibly cozy, and impressively well-stocked. The massive tree in the backyard, adorned with moss, added to the enchanting atmosphere.

Perfect Getaway

We enjoyed the quietness of the neighborhood, the proximity to town and Moonstone beach, and the amenities at the cottage. The cottage is small, but had everything we needed for a relaxing few days. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the deck and enjoying our coffee in the morning, and watching the sunset in the evening. We would definitely stay here again.

We had quail, deer, and raccons visit us and the largest flock of turkeys was just down the street at sunset. We come to Cambria to relax and get away from the summer heat. The Bonny Cottage was the perfect choice.

Charming Historical Cottage

This historical cottage is bright and comfortable. The antiques and old photos of people having fun add to the charm of the place. There are two decks to enjoy with a distant view of the ocean and a front yard that was frequented by groups of quail. You are walking distance to town and the beach but you do need to walk up a steep hill going back. The cottage is well stocked and has everything you may need. This is a real gem!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Bonny Cottage by the Sea, was indeed Bonny! It was very cozy, very clean, and very enjoyable. The neighborhood was quiet, lots of friendly people walking friendly dogs. The front deck with the furniture was fun, we actually got to sit in the sun a few days. The kitchen was very well stocked and we found everything that we needed. Loved all the candles that are in the living room. The beds were comfortable and the cottage was decorated with vintage furniture, photos, and decorations which were very charming. I would certainly stay here again!

Cozy, peaceful cottage

My husband and I were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of this place. The bed in the master was very comfortable. Lots of windows throughout the house to let in the ocean breezes. We especially liked sitting at the cozy kitchen table for our morning coffee and breakfast while looking out at the trees and flowers. The kitchen was well stocked with most anything you need to prepare meals by simply adding your ingredients of choice. There was not a dishwasher but we don’t mind washing dishes. We felt like we stepped back in time enjoying the antiques and old photos on the walls of couples and friends enjoying themselves. There were lots of books and movies to watch if you desired to do so. We weren’t far from shopping and places to eat and only about 15 minutes from Hearst Castle. We would love to stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Have been visiting Cambria and staying in this cottage on and off for 20 plus years. The cabin is charming, homey, and one of the original Cambria cottages. As well, it has always been a good experience dealing with Scenic Coast.Clearly the family who owns this property has a long standing relationship and it shows. This time was special. I had to cut my visit short and leave early due to Hurricane Hilary. I needed to get south before the storm hit. Accidentally left my earrings behind and worried quite a bit that the finder would keep them. But these are honest people. Valerie received the earrings from her cleaner...thanks to an truthful person. I received a complete refund for the night I lost, and my earrings are being mailed to me. What great folks! I cannot recommend this property management company enough.

Comfortable Vintage Home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The lovely home is charming if you enjoy the vintage feel. We enjoyed the deck area in the afternoon which offered a peak of the ocean. This was my second visit to the home in the past 2 years. I was happy to see a few upgrades such as new carpet, new microwave and a few other items. I would suggest that the owner consider providing a Keurig coffee pot. We scrubbed one of the copper bottom pans. There are several others that need the same treatment. Lots of deck area and a BBQ is available. The two loveseats in the living room may need the cushions redone. There didn't seem to be much padding in the seat area. Also the TV is a bit challenging. The instructions are not quite correct. However, we did figure it out after a bit of trial and error. I would definitely recommend the home if you are looking for a quiet, comfortable single story home located close to everything.
