À propos de cet hébergement

Grande maison spacieuse de 2700 pieds carrés. La maison est située directement sur le lac avec une vue imprenable sur l'eau. Vous pouvez lancer votre kayak, votre canoë ou votre planche à pagaie juste à côté du quai à l'arrière de la maison. Des heures de plaisir sur le lac! Il y a aussi 2 courts de tennis dans le quartier à votre disposition.

La maison est à seulement 1 mile sur la route de la ville de Bethany et de la plage. Facile à 20 min à pied de la plage mais encore mieux, le chariot s'arrête juste en face de la maison. Le chariot circule toutes les 1/2 heures pendant l'été et vous dépose directement à la plage et en ville. Alors garez la voiture, allez à la plage pendant la journée, profitez des restaurants de la ville le soir, et la prochaine fois que vous monterez dans votre voiture, c'est quand vous partirez pour rentrer à la maison. Si vous préférez vous rendre à la plage, ce n'est qu'à 5 minutes en voiture et 2 cartes de stationnement sont à votre disposition.

Le niveau principal comprend un grand salon / salle à manger ouvert. Il y a un mur plein de fenêtres dans le salon avec une vue imprenable sur le lac. Il y a une télévision à écran plat et DVD. La maison a Internet par câble et sans fil. La grande cuisine de la salle à manger a des comptoirs en granit et des appareils en acier inoxydable. Le porche projeté est hors de la salle à manger avec vue sur l'eau. Il y a un coin salon et aussi un petit coin repas. Sortez du porche grillagé sur le pont du rez-de-chaussée et il y a un grand salon avec une vue imprenable sur l'eau.
Il y a aussi une grande chambre avec sa propre salle de bain au niveau principal, donc idéal pour ceux qui n'aiment pas les escaliers. À côté de la salle de bain se trouve la buanderie avec laveuse / sécheuse complète.

En haut des escaliers jusqu'au 2ème étage se trouve un couloir en mezzanine qui donne sur le rez-de-chaussée. La grande chambre principale a une salle de bain attenante avec des comptoirs en granit. Il y a aussi une télévision dans la chambre. De la chambre principale se trouvent des portes coulissantes sur le pont à l'étage. Cette terrasse dispose de 2 chaises longues et d'un ensemble salon avec vue sur l'eau. Il y a 2 autres chambres qui partagent une salle de bain.

La maison est très familiale. Dans la chambre avec lits superposés, la commode est un combo commode / table à langer. Il y a un matelas à langer dans le placard. Il vous suffit d'apporter votre housse de matelas à langer. Il y a aussi un génie des couches et emballer et jouer dans le placard pour votre utilisation si nécessaire. De plus, il y a une poubelle de jouets dans la chambre avec lits superposés qui divertira les enfants pendant des heures.

La maison peut accueillir 13 personnes avec l'arrangement ci-dessus et c'est le nombre maximum d'occupants autorisé pour notre location.

L'allée est assez grande pour garer 4-5 voitures. Il y a une douche extérieure sur le côté droit de la maison. Le lac sur lequel se trouve la maison se connecte aux canaux qui se connectent à la baie. Vous êtes dans la rue de Bethany Beach et à 10 minutes de Fenwick Island et Dewey Beach, à 15 minutes d'Ocean City et à 20 minutes de Rehoboth Beach. Très bien situé et proche de toutes les plages si vous voulez en explorer plus d'une.

Watching herons

The house is restfully colorful and commodious. We had lots of family for dinner with no space problems and plenty of seating. We enjoyed kayaking with our inflatable kayaks. We especially enjoyed drinking our coffee qwatching baby herons in their high nest

Nice location, great house!

The first impression wasn't great with the house not seemingly cleaned, but quick response from owner, and overall wonderful stay here! Loved the access to the lake/canals/salt pond, what a beautiful bonus to the Bethany Beach location! Loved the trolley, we barely drove anywhere!

Beautiful secluded feel

We loved how close to the beach we were but still felt like we were nestled in a lakeside home. Like getting the best of both worlds! Lovely home and beautiful views and plenty to do nearby. It was perfect for our girls weekend !

Beautiful Home

The pictures for this listing does not do it justice. This home is beautiful and clean in a very peaceful neighborhood. Close to everything and easy to get around, especially with the Trolley which passes right by the house and will take you down to the beach area. Our host was responsive and very accommodating. We were 3 couples and there was plenty of room for everyone. I highly recommend this home and will definitely book again when visiting that area in the future.

Clean and comfortable

Great location. Only down side was the noise echos due to few carpets and high ceilings with open bannisters to top floor. I could hear everything the person in the kitchen was doing, up in my room unfortunately. (Like making early morning coffee!). So just something to be mindful of, if your group isn’t all on the same page waking up! But not deal breaker!

A Perfect Getaway

A beautiful house with a scenic view of the lake! The location was perfect and the neighborhood seemed safe - also close to downtown Bethany and the beach. We didn't use the trolley but nice to know we could hop on right in front of the house. Kayaking in the lake and through the canals was nice and peaceful. There were so many interesting birds to see along the way. The owner was very responsive and also provided tips/recommendations about the area which was very helpful. We had a great time!

Lake house Getaway close to the Beach

There were 8 of us in the party. The house was perfect. Close enough to the beach to enjoy everything and far enough to not be in the craziness. The house was clean and exactly what we were needing for the weekend.

Wonderful week but property needs attention

Lovely property, great location, quiet and convenient. The home itself, however is in need of deep cleaning and repairs. For example, some hardware on the doors of the kitchen cabinets were totally missing ( this had been mentioned in a previous review but obviously not attended to), screen door to backyard doesn’t fit correctly, big gap at bottom ( also noted before our visit). The tub was stained brown from water issues I suppose, but my postpartum daughter in law was on her hands and knees trying to clean it so her little children could use it. I was so embarrassed about that. No mirror in first floor bedroom, fans and return vents covered in dust and grime, antenna in master bedroom SCOTCH TAPED to the wall. Windows look like they have never been washed. Screened in porch needs an outdoor fan. Mini blinds with cords are a choking hazard and need to be updated. All that being said, we enjoyed our week at the beach for many other reasons. We just feel this property needs some deep cleaning and attention. Would love to rent again, but will not consider unless property is given some attention.

As always love BB, home was disappointing

Wonderful location! Quiet, peaceful spot. On the lake. Shuttle pick up at door. Watching Osprey, Blue Heron and Cormorants was fabulous. Trees with many different nest. All fantastic pluses for this home. Home itself was overall disappointing. Needs some TLC and deep cleaning. On arrival we cleaned the entire house. Floors, tabletops, counters, bathroom and all touch surfaces. In the owners defense we did not contact him. We witnessed the cleaning company leaving and didn’t feel calling them back would be helpful. It smelled like they sprayed some fragrant cleaner but did very little cleaning. We decided to clean the entire place ourselves. For the price charged ~ we expected a higher end, well cared for home. It is not. Several kitchen cabinets are missing hardware, cannot fully open dishwasher as broken bottom stove drawer impedes it’s opening, Dining room chairs and upholstered chair (its a removable cover) are dirty and need care. We left the home in far better condition they when we arrived. We have been visiting BB since 1993 ~ we will not stay here again. We were expecting a well loved home.

Wonderful Property - Super Location

This is a beautiful home with incredible ammenities. The trolley that stops right in front of the house to shuttle you to the beach is awesome. The neighborhood is quiet and the nature surrounding the property is wonderful for people of all ages. I would highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again in the future!

Overall we had a great weeks vacation! The property is as shown on the photos. The location is wonderful, the trolley is very convenient, and the community is very nice! There are a few things that do need attention or upgrading, such as screen doors on the enclosed porch do not close, and one screen area is torn, so you really aren’t keeping the bugs out. Also all the toilets ran most of the time, and the upstairs bathroom door was barely on hinges, I actually fell off and the men in our group were able to put it back up , but there are things that need to be taken care of.

Beautiful lake getaway

We had a blast at this property! We brought our kayaks and a SUP. It was the perfect spot for these types of watercraft. There were so many places to explore! House views of the lake and water fowl were incredible. Host was very responsive, too! Loved this vacation!!.

Location, location, location!!!

We spent the weekend at this property and we were so pleased! You open the front door and immediately see the huge windows with the lake view. Beautiful!! The home is a quick 5 minute drive to the Bethany boardwalk, and with the parking pass included, finding parking was easy… even when it was crowded!! The owner was accommodating, quick to respond to any questions, and made it an easy check in and check out. We will definitely book this house again!

Amazing, Serene & Pleasant Lake House!

The Bethany Lake House was an absolutely wonderful stay! The property managers are very accommodating in that they met our specific requirements. The house was very clean, quiet and as advertised the lake view is just stunning. We rented a kayak from a nearby business "Coastal Kayaks", great people! We kayaked around the island and into some of the channels, just serene and pleasant as can be. Bethany Beach is literally 7 mins drive and takes you straight to the Boardwalk Shops. The house hosts are very responsive and provide many other items to the stay-cation package that which one can choose to do. We have "favourited" the Lake House and will most definitely be coming back to stay again, with unanimous votes. Thank you so much Thuy! - The Weekenders

Loved the house and location. Very quiet neighborhood. Lake outside was great and trolley convenience was great. Lots of room in house so we didn't feel on top of each other. Only problem - the downstairs bedroom was never cool .

Ideal Location

Such an enjoyable 2-week stay at this beautiful house on a lake with easy access to Bethany Beach! I spent every morning drinking coffee on the back porch, watching the herons right across the water. My husband took his canoe right off the dock in back to the Salt Pond and crabbed each day, and the kids and I took kayaks around the lake and canals. My kids also enjoyed the quick drive to Bethany Beach and the trolley that stops right outside the house. No need to choose between a beach and lake vacation at this house- it was the best of both worlds! The house itself had plenty of room, was well-stocked and offered beautiful views out onto the lake. The owner was very responsive and kind-- we would book again in a heartbeat!

Lake and beach. Best of both worlds.

The house was perfect. We could walk to the beach or launch our kayaks off the dock and explore the lake and canals. We rented bikes one day and took the bike trail by the house that runs along the canal. There was so much to do. The house had plenty of room for all my sisters and their families to gather and relax. The home owners were very helpful and all their recommendations were very good.

Wonderful

Bethany Beach has such a nice atmosphere and the property was wonderful. Great accommodations, easy beach access and located on a lovely lake. We loved kayaking, and enjoyed watching the nest of herons that we could see from the house. The mini golf course right outside of the entrance to the neighborhood has wonderful ice cream. Would definitely book this again!

Fabulous Time!

My family and I are so happy that we booked this house! There was room for everyone (7 adults and 2 kids) to sleep comfortably and have their own space. We were originally seeking something closer to the ocean but the tranquility of the canal and the wildlife was the highlight! We watched the mama and daddy herons feeding their babies and painting such a beautiful silhouette in the trees. When we spotted one of the herons in the yard and saw her beautiful blue coloring, we were amazed. We loved seeing the geese take their families up and down the canal a couple times a day and a balk eagle flew overhead one day. Grandpa taught his two grandsons how to fish off the dock (so precious!) Adult daughters got to catch up on the front porch nightly. We all had a lovely time. Oh, and we loved the proximity to the beach! The kitchen had everything we needed. We brought pans, bowls, knives from home but didn't need them. My 87 yr old mother-in-law enjoyed it and especially the bedroom on the 1st level! Thank you for such a beautiful home, incredibly instructions and suggestions. We hope to be back next year!

Husband's 40th Birthday Weekend

We had an amazing time! There were 6 adults and 4 kids from age 4-13. The rooms accommodated us all comfortably! The house had everything we needed to have a great time. We only left the house for groceries. The kitchen was well stocked, and the kids enjoyed the games and toys provided. There was plenty of space inside and out for us to gather. It was truly a weekend to remember! And Thuy was incredible throughout the entire process!

It's also right on the lake to enjoy all the fun lake activities such as kayaking and paddle boarding. We also love to sit on our main deck and watch the sunset over the lake in the evenings.

We also love the neighborhood. It's close enough to the beach but quiet and peaceful in a residential neighborhood. It's also a great walking neighborhood and you will see lots of friendly owners walking about so be sure to wave and say hi.
