The cottage had everything we needed for the week; beds were very comfortable, a lovely courtyard garden which was a sun trap. Itâs also close to all the amenities in Lymington (in walking distance). Richard was an excellent host; gave us concise information on the cottage, local area, dining out options and offered personal help when I experienced a problem with my car on the day of arrival. We would definitely book this cottage again.
Great location into town, everything easy to work.Beds were the best in a rented property, so comfortable.Nice cosy little cottage. We will definitely be back to stay there.
This was a lovely property to stay at in order to visit some of the attractions that the area had to offer. The cottage was a perfect place to unwind and the town had plenty to offer with lots of dog friendly shops and pubs. All in all a great little break.
Very clean, well equipped cottage. Lymington is a great place to stay and the cottage is located relatively close to the town and marina. Lovely area to visit.
Very comfortable, clean and cozy cottage in a very convenient location. On a quiet street with parking on road outside. Great communication with property host and very easy check in. Overall a great stay and we would choose this place again.
Sea Cottage was just the place my wife and I wanted for a mini-break in the New Forest. A moderate walk from the town centre made it accessible, and car parking was easy. The cottage was clean and with excellent facilities. All our contact with Richard was helpful and friendly. We would be happy to book again.
This cottage was charming and was just as described. It had everything we needed and was within easy walking distance of the delightful town centre. We felt very comfortable here and had a great weekend. I would highly recommend
The cottage had everything we needed, clean and comfortable. Walking distance from Marina, Quay and High Street. Good pubs locally to choose from serving great food. Ideal for our first break away with our dog.
Loved the cottage and was in walking distance of the town, harbour and many dog friendly pubs and cafes!
The cottage has a secure back yard which was perfect for the dogs and has hose and back gate entry ( in case of muddy paws)..lovely place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine on the patio furniture!
Beds very comfortable and the shower was great too!...would definitely recommend!
A lovely small cottage well equipped and comfortable beds and linen. Well situated for Lymington high Street which is approximately 13 minutes walk and the sea wall about the same. Easy driving time to Burley across the forest and to Avon Beach and Mudeford Quay.Nice Woodburner which made the cottage very cosy in the evenings - you need to bring your own kindling and logs. Only negative is the stairs, they are very steep which anyone with mobility issues would find a challenge.
Charming cottage great location ,had everything you needed, sea wall walk 5 minutes away which was great with dogs, the only thing we mentuoned was that the courtyard could have been a bit more pleasent to sit out in ,just needed weeding and the shrubs cut back a bit .
Everything about Sea Cottage was wonderful. It was a perfect location for exploring The New Forest, Southampton, Portsmouth, and the Isle of Wight. The beds were perfect and we didnât miss my own pillows a bit. Loved the shower, too! Thank you for helping making the start to our monthlong exploration of the south of England absolutely perfect!
A delightful cottage for 2. The town centre, harbours, bus and train were all within comfortable walking distance. Plenty of free parking spaces adjacent to the cottage. Richard could not have been more helpful and flexible during the Covid re-booking process. A really enjoyable week discovering the town and the local area. Recommended.
Becky and myself have lived in Lymington for eleven years and couldn't imagine living anywhere else now. Becky is a part time veterinary surgeon and a part time university veterinary lecturer. Richard has his own local property business, and is a volunteer on the Lymington Lifeboat Crew. We have three daughters, a black lab and a crazy cat.
We recently modernised and refurbished the cottage creating a charming, and still characterful place to stay. The cottage is so close to town and has the benefit of having the marinas, sea walks and parkland literally on its doorstep. It makes for the perfect short break. The Cottage has two double bedrooms, one king size bed and the other with a double. The Haven marina (with lovely Bar & restaurant!) is a few minutes walk and from there the sea wall meanders around the salt marshes with great views of the Isle of Wight and Keyhaven fort. The old market town of Lymington, with its lovely High Street and cobbled street leading down to the Town Quay are also within easy walking distance. Further afield, a short drive takes you into the New Forest. Heathland and forest walks abound and ponies, cattle and donkeys roam free so take your time and explore the delights at your leisure.
Fantastic location. Just a few minutes walk to the sea or to the High Street with a great selection of shops, restaurants and coffee shops. The ferry to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight leaves regularly from the other side of the river and is easily reached on foot, by bike, by car or by train from Lymington station. The cottage has a cosy atmosphere, with a log burner for the winter evenings. On warmer days there is a small courtyard garden and a terrace leading off the 2nd bedroom.
