A wonderful house with lots of space and a peaceful location. A real find.
We had a wonderful week and were impressed by the attractive decor and comfortable surroundings. Local pub served excellent food and was very welcoming.The children enjoyed the duckpond and local playground. A stunning house with loads of space and comfort for everyone.

Wonderful property in great location
We loved this fantastic barn conversion. There was plenty of room for the 3 generations of our family. The location was ideal for exploring the Norfolk coast, places of interest and nearby villages. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. The sitting room was cosy and the perfect place to relax on a cold winter night. Everything was fitted out to a high standard. We hope to be back!

Lovely house but needs a deep clean
We arrived when it was dark and therefore hard to find the key safe. Once found, property was lovely and great size to house us all for the weekend. However, the cot bedding was disgusting and had faeces over both sides of the sheets..this sadly tainted it for us as we then felt unsettled on the cleanliness of the rest of the property. There were a lot of cobwebs, the house could definitely do with a good Clean and the lights on the top floor kept tripping. It was nice to receive a welcome hamper, however the biscuits were out of date and mouldy. The attention to detail is lacking.

Wonderful holiday
We stayed here as a 60th birthday celebration with our family. The house was beautiful with very comfortable beds, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need and the location was perfect. We really didn’t want to leave!

Stunning barn conversion in rural village within a short drive to fabulous north Norfolk beaches.
Spacious and impressive with generous sized bedrooms and living areas. Ideal for 4 couples. Quiet location and pub within walking distance. Accommodation is just one part of a huge barn plus there are other converted outbuildings on the site. Short drive to the coast. Fabulous.

A beautiful barn with lovely decor and wonderfully equipped.
The only quibble we had is the lack of instructions for the cooker and hob. It severely restricted our ability to use it to its full extent.
These probably should be available on the internet.

Great new year break
The barn was the perfect place for a new year break with friends. There were 8 of us and small baby, the barn is very spacious, an en-suite in all bedrooms which was lovely and just generally really nice. Would definitely come back and would recommend to friends.

70 years & still going strong
The booking was to celebrate a 70th birthday & brought together a few close family members, covering 3 generations. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the house & its facilities. The house was handily placed for a number of beaches which is the most favoured destination for the youngest members of the family.

One of our best holidays!
I cannot fault our stay at 5 Ivy Barns with 4 other adult family members and 2 grandchildren under 3. We had a very lovely break in this beautiful building with its generous space. Decorated and furnished beautifully we enjoyed time together in 5 Ivy Barns playing games, eating and as a base for out daily outings. Perfect location to visit Wells, Holt, Sheringham and Cromer- so much to do. My only regret is we did not stay longer!

Stay at 5 Ivy farm Barns
The converted barn is in an ideal location in the village of Stanhoe. Really well equipped and being on 3 floors the the old folks could be on the first floor with the next generation & grandchild on the second floor.
Great pub within walkings distance in the village.
we were blessed with great (& hot) weather .
Made a great base for a fantastic family holiday in Norfolk

Could have been cleaner.
Concerns as to how well barn was cleaned. Dirty dining chairs & kitchen cupboard fronts. Crumbs in cutlery drawer. Empty shower gel sachet left by previous occupant in walk in shower. I know it can’t be perfect but one too many things for my peace of mind. Otherwise a good holiday base. Comfortable beds.

Family time away
We really enjoyed our stay at Ivy Farms barn, the house was great for 3 couples and a single person. It would be good to have a hanging space in the third floor bedroom & there were a lot of spotlights out that are need when you don’t have natural light. The sofa in the lounge can be uncomfortable, i found it more comfortable on the sofa in the bedroom. Otherwise, the property was well kept and the outside seating idea. We would happily stay there again.

Weekend with Friends
The location and accommodation was superb only two negative points the 1st being that the table in the lounge hadn’t been cleaned and still had food remains on it. The second was and appreciate it was easy in the year there were no chairs available to sit on in the courtyard. Everything else was first class

Wonderful weekend in Norfolk in a lovely property.
Had a great time with friends last weekend. The property was really lovely, plenty of room for the eight of us to spread out, very clean and well equipped.
Was a cold weekend but underfloor heating kept us warm and a log burning stove was a bonus with plenty of logs provided.
House is well positioned close to some lovely beaches and attractions, so highly recommended. Great pub within walking distance was an added bonus.
We will be back.

A really nice place
Beautiful house with lots of space, located in a nice quiet setting. Furniture and bedding are of a very good quality and the kitchen is well equipped. In winter the wood burning fire is a real bonus. All modern facilities are included as is wi-fi.

Great Barn stay: Close to other cottages
We had a very enjoyable stay at 5 Ivy Barns. It was a bit tricky to find and the address number is hidden. I was surprised to discover the barn is located next to other barn cottages, so it is not really on its own; it is a semi-detached. You are very near other barns. This might be a noise concern.
There were no screens on the windows and a few flies flew into the cottage. A bedroom fan would have been very nice, as I had to keep the windows shut in order to keep the bugs outside.
Parking was convenient and right outside of the house. The barn was very clean and everything was new and very top quality. The kitchen was very equipped. We enjoyed eating meals at the cottages.
I also appreciated the washing machine and separate tumble dryer. Overall, I would highly recommend a stay at the barn and I hope to return.

Perfect hideaway for family get together!
The house was amazing; spacious, clean and stylish. The welcome gestures (tea / coffee / biscuits / crisps) was a lovely unexpected touch. We hired in local caterers called Oyster Catchers on the Saturday evening to cook a special birthday dinner for us who were fabulous and I'd recommend to anyone wanting something a little different. We had a great long weekend at the house, thank you. We didn't want to leave!

En-suite With walk in shower enclosure, wash basin and WC. Bedroom four Twin bedroom. Light and airy room with attractive full size 3ft twin wrought iron beds. En-suite bathroom With bath, mixer tap with shower attachment that can be hand held or wall hung and shower screen, wash basin and WC.
Second Floor:
Bedroom one Spacious family room with exposed rafters and beams. Super-king size wrought iron bed, large flat screen television, sofa, and cot with changing mat underneath. En-suite bathroom With bath, mixer tap with shower attachment that can be hand held or wall hung and shower screen, wash basin and WC. Bedroom three Pretty room with king-size brass bed and flat screen television with Freeview. En-suite bathroom With bath, mixer tap with shower attachment that can be hand held or wall hung and shower screen, wash basin and WC. There is a travel cot stored in the cupboard in this room.
Outside:
To the rear of the property there is a courtyard garden with willow fencing, wooden garden furniture for eight and a Weber charcoal barbecue. The property is set back from the lane in a quiet position. There is a brick/timber car port as well as additional parking for three vehicles. EV Charger is available for a small additional charge.
