I stayed here with family (5 adults and 2 children). The location is perfect and we found the property had everything we needed including comfy beds, a well stocked kitchen and a big lounge that accommodated everyone. The owner Suzie is very responsive and sourced a replacement kettle straight away. Thank you for our stay at your lovely home!
Generally well appointed.
Clean and well furnished.
Let down a bit by some tatty door insulation and non functioning blinds, and one dangerously loose wall coving in the garden.
Didn't detract from a great family holiday.
Good location and generally well equiped. Showing some signs of wear eg paint work. Plenty of utensils but could use a few more teaspoons. The auto switch on the kettle doesn't seem to work.
All that said we were happy with the property.
The house was clean, location was good but with a toddler the garden was hard work, when weather was good and he wanted to run around there was so many bees on the overgrown lawn full of daisies and cowslips we were worried he would be stung. Patio was unsafe as so uneven, unfenced drop to patio from lawn dangerous for toddler. Several windows didnât open at all or didnât close properly, kitchen and dining room doors didnât close properly, again problem with a toddler. Oven and oven ware dirty, we bought foil to use on oven tray. 2 wardrobes with around 15 hangers not adequate for the amount of people. Shower pressure poor and scalding radiator and pipe in bathroom.
This house was very suitable for our family of three generations. It was very clean and well equipped. Quality towels and bedding were provided. It had also been recently refurbished. The off street parking was appreciated. The children enjoyed playing in the large garden and we all loved the local beach.
We had been before so know what to expect - itâs a good house for a family itâs easy care and has a.
Comfortable beds, a good sitting area and easily sits 8 at the table. It would really benefit with some outdoor furniture- there is only a pub style table big enough for 4 outside. Otherwise it is as itâs billed!
Our first stay in Brancaster, very quiet area, we were able to walk to the lovely beach with the dog, lovely property with very comfortable beds and high quality bedding and towels, excellent fully enclosed garden with garden furniture which we made full use of as the weather was glorious.
Large property with everything could need an great base for exploring the area. Back garden is a great size for children or pets to play and the patio is a sun trap
This property was perfect for myself and family,3 generations in all.The location is very quiet and a pleasant 20min walk to the beach, and what an amazing beach. The annexe was ideal for myself to retreat to for a spot of quiet time with it's own TV and wet room.I would highly recommend this property
Fantastic accommodation- the downstairs rooms and wet-room were really useful with a 14 month old. Great communication from the owner - would highly recommend
Good size property. Comfortable. Excellent location for the beach. We stayed in the annexe which was ok as my husband is disabled. Only thing i would say could do with more mirrors in the annexe to do your hair & storage in the bathroom.
Had a very nice time weather perfect.
A very useful property for larger family of all ages.
Very useful for Christmas week with all the family.
Easy to find, plenty of parking.
Very nice - and unexpected - welcome pack on arrival.
Clean throughout.
Heating hadn't been left on but radiators warmed the place up very quickly.
Whilst glasses and mugs are in kitchen, all table crockery is in cupboard in dining room - or maybe we should have left everybody else to play 'hunt the plates' like we did!
Chairs and beds very comfortable.
The house is much bigger than it looks with a large private garden. It slept 10 of us including our 2 grandchildren. The impossibly beautiful Brancaster beach is only 15 minuted walk with a pushchair away.
Very suitable for a family Christmas holiday. North Norfolk was not known to us and we thought it was lovely, lots of flat walks, stunning scenery, we really appreciated the log burning stove when it got cold, played lots of card and board games on the large table and charades in the sitting room, reading, talking, all the things we never seem to have time to do.
We bought the house in January 2011. After extensive refurbishment the first visitors came in May 2011. North Norfolk is perfect for families, walkers and foodies!! We love the house as it is so near to wonderful beaches.
We use the house as a family as well as letting it out. Everything is very child friendly, lots of kiddie plates, cups etc. But I still have to have my comforts, ie nice linen, pillows and lots of heating, including a wood burning stove. There is a downstairs double bedroom and wet room. This is a quiet room and perfect for grandparents, who dont want to hear the children in the early morning!
