Boscarne, une superbe maison de luxe de 5 chambres avec vue dégagée sur la baie St Ives. Idéal pour familles, groupes d'amis et occasions spéciales / anniversaires. Nouveau pour 2018 un bain à remous 6 places avec une vue imprenable sur l'île, le phare de Godrevy, et la côte nord des Cornouailles. Boscarne se trouve à 10-15 minutes à pied de la plage de Porthmeor et tous les excellents restaurants que St Ives a à offrir. Avec des fenêtres en verre au sol au plafond / portes bifoldées, le soleil se jette dans l'avant de la maison. Alors, prenez la pluie ou la brillance, profitez du lever du soleil ou regardez des orages dramatiques se dérouler sur l'Atlantique. Au rez-de-chaussée spacieux salon / salle à manger ouvert / cuisine avec portes bifold menant à la terrasse avec bain à remous avec des sièges pour 6, table et chaises et barbecue. A l'arrière de la maison, une chambre au rez-de-chaussée, avec salle de bains attenante, idéale pour ceux qui se battent avec les escaliers. Au premier étage, quatre chambres avec portes coulissantes donnant sur le balcon. Chambre principale avec salle de bain / douche attenante, et une autre salle de bain / douche familiale. En outre, une quatrième salle de douche au rez-de-chaussée. Quatre chambres avec des lits supermains, dont trois sont des lits zip et link et peuvent être divisés en 6 simples, plus une chambre avec double. En outre, Boscarne a été équipée d'un projecteur HD avec écran déroulant et d'un système de son surround. Profitez des films avec le compte Netflix de la maison et allumez le poêle à bois pour les nuits douillettes. Les autres fonctionnalités comprennent le système Sonos sans fil, le réfrigérateur-congélateur américain et la machine à café Tassimo. La cuisine contient du four Neff et four combiné / micro-ondes, plaques à induction et lave-vaisselle. L'utilitaire contient un lave-vaisselle supplémentaire, une machine à laver et un sèche-linge. Parking pour 3 voitures et Superbe bande à large bande illimitée. Boscarne dispose également de 16 panneaux solaires P / V installés sur le toit qui génèrent de l'électricité, dont certains se détournent pour chauffer de l'eau chaude pour la maison. A lovely stay

What a fantastic place, we travelled with you children and elderly grandparents. The downstairs bedroom gave those grandparents who have mobility issues the ideal place to stay without compromise. The property was lived by all and is a realistic ten minute walk to the beach. As the summer weather was true to form, thankfully there was a hot tub and a cinema screen! I’d happily return, thank you.

A special stay!

We stayed at Boscarne for one week with my wife and I getting married on the weekend. The house accomodated our family of 10 brilliantly and provided so much room for us all to not feel on top of each other. Liz was an incredible host and the property was tremendous. We created so many happy memories there as a family, be it in the hot tub, in front of the tremendous home cinema system or sat beside the log burner. You should make this your next holiday destination!

Beautiful House

We had an amazing family holiday in St Ives. The house is set in a great location with the best views we have ever had of St Ives . The views from the balcony are endless and wonderful to wake up to in a morning . The high spec facilities in the house include the hot tub, cinema screen and log fire and all add to the experience including the fully equipped kitchen, utllity room and two of the five bedrooms with ensuite facilities. Thank you Liz for making our stay a memorable one and we cannot wait to stay in Boscarne again in the future.

A Little Gem

the house was wonderful; clean, spacious, had everything you would need. We were a big group with mixed ages but there was plenty of space both inside and out to all live together for a week. communication before and during was great, Liz was always very responsive and on hand with any queries we had while there. we were lucky with the weather so we got to enjoy the terrace and hot tub which was great. Porthmeor Beach is a 7-8 min walk (2 min drive), centre of town is a 10-15 min walk - longer walking back! just a note on the location; it is on top of the hill which makes for great views but not ideal for people with mobility issues - to be fair, that is St Ives in general, the hills do add to the beauty!

BOSCARNE St Ives

The house is very spacious and was very well presented. The beds were very firm but comfy. The kitchen had most things but could do with chopping boards replacing and a decent pair of kitchen scissors. The views were spectacular and great area to sunbathe and use the hot tub. The shower room is in an odd place as it’s in the hallway as you enter the house with a frosted glass door so not really ideal. There’s one ensuite up and one down the other two bedrooms share the main bathroom on the landing unless one room uses the shower in the entrance! It’s quite high on the hill so anyone not good at walking I don’t think it would be suitable, however there is a regular bus going up and down … parking has always been limited in st ives so prepare to walk down to the beach and bus it back … The down side of our stay was the rats yes rats very big rats running across the deck everytime we did a bbq … the host did address this with a bait box but we had them most of our stay … we had to go inside when the rats arrived as we had small children . All in all we did enjoy staying there

Thanks for your review. Just to explain there are 4 bath/shower rooms in the property. Two ensuites, one upstairs and one downstairs. The second bath/shower room upstairs services the 3 bedrooms upstairs. We put a 4th shower room as a multi use room on entry into the house. It can be used on returning from the beach, or a spare shower room to back up the 3 main shower rooms. It is also an electric shower in case of boiler issues. That means the house will always have a working shower. Some guests don't use it, but it allows 4 showers to be used at one time. Noted re chopping board and scissors. Thanks. Unfortunately we were unaware the bbq was attracting rats. We ask all guests to not leave food out for the normal problem of seagulls. I baited a box (and the bait went) and the guests this week have not reported back to me that they have had a problem. I explained and asked them to. I also asked the lady next door where the rats are coming from to bait as well. They are living under her wood store. I sincerely apologise and will continue to bait and monitor. Thanks.

Fantastic Family Holiday

We stayed here in August, and we all had an excellent time. The location is lovely, easy walk down to the beach (downhill), but quite steep in parts walking back – But that’s St Ives. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the property after reading some of the reviews. Plenty of room for the kids with ample seating inside and out. The bedrooms were decent sizes with plenty of storage space. The kids loved the entertainment system, especially the projector. Amazing views from the decking / balcony. We would all definitely stay in this lovely holiday home again. Highly recommended. Thanks 😊

Everything you could possibly need

Just had a wonderful Christmas in Boscarne, St Ives. The house is just as described, very comfortable, modern & with everything provided you could possibly need to have an enjoyable holiday. We cooked a Christmas dinner & the kitchen was well equipped to do so. The hot tub was a great success even though we had a lot of rain. All in all a fabulous Christmas in St Ives at Boscarne.

My review

It was a great location near the beach & the town. The only small issue for me was with a big party of people there were too many houses in very close proximity so had to be very quiet as not to disturb which is difficult to do when there is a party of 9 or 10.

Thanks for your review but puzzled by your review. Before I accepted your booking I sent this message:- thanks for the request. Happy to accept your booking but just to let you know that the house is in a residential area, and cannot be used as a party venue. So fine for a respectful 40th but not for a weekend that the neighbours will have cause to be concerned about. You responded:- yes that is fine. That is not the purpose of our visit, and you requested to go ahead and book. So I accepted your booking. So I was really clear that we had neighbours. Parties and noisy groups are not what we wish to host. And we don't accept hens/stags or anybody who wishes to use our properties to party. Unfortunately being close to the beach and town means we have neighbours. That is why before we accept bookings, we make this clear to potential guests. I did this, and made you aware of this. We clearly should not have been the house that you booked.

Wondeful House

We were a family of 6 who stayed in July 21. Great house, great views, quiet location, great hot tub, great home cinema and great kitchen. Spotlessly clean. Just remember that this is St Ives, so there are a lot of hills. You're only a 10 min walk to the beach and centre of St Ives. There are lots of buses to take you back up the very steep hill!! The owner popped in a couple of times to check the chemicals in the hot tub and was easily contactable if needed,

Lovely ....:

We really enjoyed our stay. Firstly, Liz is a lovely host and quickly rectified an issue we had - in fact within minutes! The house is big and perfect for two families (with 4 children) The pictures do make this property look newer than it is and also bigger but it was still nice. The beds were really comfortable and the showers were really powerful. The outdoor shower was lovely and immediately hot! The hot tub was a great addition, with an amazing view. Liz came to check the chemicals and as we were leaving the came to fully drain it and clean it. The property is approx 10 minute walk to the nearest beach but the way back is extremely hilly - parking for any of the beaches is a nightmare! There were no personal touches on arrival like hampers, notes etc which we are used too, although there was milk in the fridge. Also, no info on local take aways - we found a good Indian that deliver (cash on delivery only). Knifes could do with a sharpen but there was plenty of crockery, cutlery, including plastics for the kids! Loads of seating inside and outside which makes being away with another family nice and easy! Gas BBQ was great too! Overall a pleasant stay, with glorious weather from start to finish.

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay. Beach was only 10 minutes away and the shop was a few minutes walk. The bus stops right outside if you don’t feel like walking up the hill. The hot tub was a big plus! Thank you Liz for a wonderful stay :)

Local lady who moved away to London for 15 years but returned to St Ives. Now look after our original renovated letting house, three flats plus our recently built luxury new builds Boscarne , Chy Lowen, Godrevy all of which are holiday lets. Plus 100+ year old farmhouse and cottage that both accept pets.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Boscarne is a beautiful purpose built holiday let. Designed and completed with our guests in mind, we have tried make it a very special house. Added features of hot tub, projector and drop down screen, t/vs in all bedrooms, & unlimited Superfast broadband, Netflix. Electric charging point. But most of all a lovely open planned property for guests to spend special time together. We have had birthdays, anniversaries, wedding departures, all great memories made at Boscarne.
