The house is perfect, such a great layout for a family. Love the hangout space upstairs. Such an easy walk to the beach. Great neighborhood. Our favorite - this was our second stay and we cant wait to visit again.
Was a quiet street with a 2 minute walk to the beach. There are excellent places to eat within 10 minute drives and the pier is 15 minutes away with a lot if things to see there as well.
We loved being able to walk to the beach barefoot. The home is gorgeous and the neighborhood is quiet. We found plenty of fun things to do nearby. It was a perfect getaway for our family.
Loved the beach house and the location! It was very private and the walk to the beach was short and easy. You were still close enough to see and hear the beach on the deck! It was beautiful!
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Itâs a truly short walk to the beach, we had everything we needed and more, and beach items and toys galore! Beds are comfy, and there is plenty of space to spread out or be together. We love this area for the beautiful, quiet beaches and close proximity to St. Augustine and Daytona.
Had lots of room for each couple to space out. Had lots of beach chairs, beach towels and beach toys. Utility wagon was awesome! Washer and dryer were very handy, right by the door. 2 driveways were nice. The walk to the beach wasnt much more than the houses on the beach. We loved our stay!
This property was well-stocked with everything a family would need for a comfortable stay. We really appreciated the linens, towels, beach chairs/toys and kitchen supplies. All of the appliances were functioning well and the house was very comfortable for our family. Thank you!
We went there for Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends. We had an awesome stay at the house. The pictures does not show Justice to the place. The house is extremely clean and all the appliances are brand new. The house is really close to the beach where our kids and us head lots of fun. You get an awesome feel of a beach house. We really had a fun time and love the home. We plan to stay at this property when we visit st. Augustine again.
Very comfortable home, lots of different spaces for 3 boys to spread out in. Short walk to the beach. Home has a great wagon and beach toys for all ages. Well supplied kitchen. Only negative is dirt road with lots of construction going on.. new homes being built and road constantly being regraded. Not a big deal for me as my Jeep is used to dirt! Lol We would definitely rent again.
The place was very clean, cozy and very comfortable. The house had everything we needed as a family. My only issue was that there were no plates or bowls that could be used in the microwave. The cups, bowls and plates were all plastic, which is great for children. I would have like some of them that were glass, ceramic or porcelain like Corelli or Corning ware.
That said, the place was amazing in every other way. Would definitely want to go go back there when we are in the area.
We quite enjoyed staying at this property. The house was well laid out and there was ample room for our group of 8. The house has a nice deck from which you can see a bit of the ocean. The beach is just a couple of minutes walk away and there are beach chairs and some sand toys in the garage under the house. The beach is very quiet (there are no amenities or concessions). The house is nearby a well stocked supermarket and there are numerous restaurants just a short car ride away. The house was also a nice base for making day trips to St Augustine, Daytona Beach, several beautiful springs and Amelia Island ( weg took the ferry). All in all we had a very enjoyable week!
We are a family of 4 adults & 3 early schol age children. We chose this house because it afforded us a spacious home w/lovely furnishings, great sleeping quarters AND in close proximity to the beach. It did not disappoint! Well maintained home w/fabulous deck offering ocean views from two places, plus the short walk to the beach was heaven. Easy access to stores & if more than a supermarket needed, you need to pay a one way toll of $2. Quiet block & some friendly neighbors, made for a very restful respite. The sunsets & sunrises were superb!
Thank you, The Foster & Labrada familes
The beach house was a wonderful getaway with family and friends. The house decorations were impeccable. Melondie was great at responding to issues. Prior to arriving a storm came and knocked out the cable/WiFi. So, no TV and wifi. That made us talk even more. Such great memories were made and I will cherish them for my birthday even in the midst of a pandemic.
This is an awesome beach house to stay at. It is totally worth every effort made to get there.
The place is great....perfect location. Comfy beds. Great customer service from the Selby group. Great beach vacation overall.
Couple of qualms bring this to a 4 star. The grill is charcoal, we were told it was propane. So having to get charcoal after going food shopping was a pain. Two girls used hair dryers at the same time and blew a fuse the last night. The fuse box was locked up so we just had to live with some lights off.
I'd also recommend more paper towels and dish detergent.
Rental was easy. The instructions on how to get into the property was easy. Location was good if you donât mind staying 30 miles from Daytona. The ride down 1A1 was great. Plenty of room to park the 8.5 x 20 ft enclosed trailer and full size dully truck without unhooking. The house was very clean and updated. Lots of stairs in the house. Master bedroom and bunk beds are upstairs. The two queens are on the entry level. Had plenty of room in the garage to park trike, street guide and road guide at night. A quite and friendly neighborhood. Only issue was the road coming in to the house was not paved. Hard packed sand, but still cause small amount of dust. We were not night owls, so usually weâre back at the house before midnight.
The first day we got there it was raining and over cast. But that turned out to be good as we could explore the beach without getting burned. I sent Monica a note saying that we have arrived and were very impressed with the house. She quickly sent back a note and said she would try to deliver some sunshine. Boy did she the weather was perfect the rest of the week. The beach was just a short walk, the shortest that I ever had at the beach. I love the unpaved road as we could walk without shoe's to the beach. Everything we needed was at the house including towels, beach toys, plates, etc, expect the food of coarse. Very quiet neighborhood with very friendly neighbors. I was even able to find shark teeth which isn't what I do best. We had 7 people stay over and I found the beds to be very comfortable. With rooms quiet enough to nap during the day while others were up and about making noise. This is going on my favorites as a place to come back too and soon I hope.
Close to the beach. Easy access to Palm Coast which was important as my wife and I were there to help clear out my parents house to prepare to sell it and then do my dadâs funeral. The house has comfortable sleeping, two living areas and was super close to the beach. It came furnished with a tent, shades, boogie boards, and beach chairs. Couple minor suggestions to make but overall we loved it and look forward to returning.
This home was absolutely perfect for us. We've been vacationing in Palm Coast for several years now and always stay in this neighborhood. This was our first time in this home but it won't be our last.
The layout of the home was fantastic. We loved the open main floor and the separate living space upstairs was ideal when our teenagers took over the tv at night.
The property manager was wonderful in communication. The home was spotless, beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed.
The only issue we would even be able to mention is that the property description said there was a kayak available for use - our 13 year old was excited about that - and there was not one available. Certainly not a deal breaker but we did look for it because it was mentioned.
Palm Coast is our favorite vacation spot and this home is our favorite. Looking forward to staying again next summer!
Everyone has something to do in this area, which boasts 18 miles of serene, cinnamon-colored sand beaches along the Atlantic Ocean. You can park your lawn chair in the sand and bask in the sun or cast your fishing pole and try surf fishing. For those seeking more activity, surfing, boogie boarding, kite boarding, and kayaking are all options. Wildlife enthusiasts can watch pelicans, dolphins, and right whales, and if you time it right, you can see baby sea turtles making their way to the ocean. Golfers have plenty of courses to choose from, while foodies can explore the many local restaurants. A day trip to St. Augustine offers history buffs a chance to see the Fort Matanzas ruins and shop at quaint boutiques in one of the oldest towns in the area. A scenic drive up A1A takes you through museums and a winery, and you can cap off your day with a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride.
The area is very private with no public access to the beach on the street. Amenities are close by but yet you feel way from it all. Relaxing and serene. Revel in the tranquil atmosphere of this beach, far from the commotion and congestion of big cities and crowded beaches.
