Camus Bhan, situé sur les rives du Loch Leven à Invercoe, est une maison familiale spacieuse et très bien présentée aux confins du village de Glencoe. L'hébergement comprend cuisine, salle à manger, salon, salle de bains et 3 chambres avec 2 bénéficiant d'une salle de bains privative.

La maison peut accueillir jusqu'à 7 personnes et accepte les chiens (max. 2 chiens). A l'étage, il y a une chambre double et une chambre à lits jumeaux, toutes deux dotées d'une salle de douche et de toilettes. Au rez-de-chaussée, vous trouverez une autre chambre double, qui a également un lit simple, donc peut être utilisé comme un jumeau. Adjacent est la salle de bains principale avec un bain profond et luxueux, et une douche séparée.

Le salon dispose d'une fenêtre pleine hauteur avec vue sur Loch Leven et vers l'ouest. Les couchers de soleil sur Ardgour peuvent être spectaculaires. Si vous ne vous fatiguez pas de la vue, FreeSat TV dispose de plusieurs chaînes disponibles. La fibre à haut débit devrait être disponible à partir de la fin du mois de mai.

La cuisine comprend la gamme habituelle d'appareils, y compris un lave-vaisselle et une machine à laver / sécheuse combinée. La salle à manger conduit à la cuisine et bénéficie d'une vue sur le jardin jusqu'au loch. Dans les mois les plus froids, vous voudrez peut-être allumer le feu ouvert - nous allons fournir du carburant pour votre premier éclairage.

Il y a un jardin privé modeste et pour des journées ensoleillées et un pont où vous pourrez vous asseoir et profiter du soleil couchant sur les collines d'Ardgour. Si vous amenez vos vélos, vos kayaks ou d'autres gros jouets en vacances, vous voudrez peut-être utiliser le hangar ou le port de la voiture à l'arrière de la propriété pour le stockage.

Woodland se promène au charmant Glencoe Lochan peut être démarré à partir de la porte arrière. L'auberge Glencoe se trouve à distance de marche, le long du rivage du Loch Leven vers le carrefour de Glencoe - un endroit agréable pour se promener dans le soleil du soir. Nice house in a great location

The house was clean and confortable. From the dining room there is a beautiful view on the loch. The location is perfect to explore both Glen Coe and the area of Fort William and Glen Nevis. I definitely recommend it.

Wonderful stay, central location

We had a super week in GlenCoe, with Camus Bahn as our base. While slightly care worn, Camus Bahn was clean. We had my husband and I, our two adult kids and my mother and father-in-law. It was a bit tight for all of us but we were not there for hanging around the house. Fortunately we had lovely weather, so after bagging Mumford we could come back to the house and sit on the deck with a cold drink. Views were lovely and location perfect for hiking. Would stay there again

Location Location Location

Lovely cottage. In need of some TLC but this did not spoil the hoilday. All the staff we dealt with were amazing, Ann Marie was great. John the maintenance man was so nice. Beds/bedding comfy, towels lovely and fluffy. Kitchen had everything you need for self catering, loads of parking. Would definitely stay again.

Das Haus hat alles was man braucht. Es gibt drei Schlafzimmer, jedes mit Bad. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet. Man kann vom Haus direkt in den Wald gehen. Die Spazierwege in der Umgebung sind sehr schön.

Spectacular view over the Loch. Wonderful stay.

We had a lovely week in Chamus Bhan Cottage in October, we arrived to a warm cosy feel to the cottage as the heating had been on which was most welcome as it was quite chilly. The cottag provides everything you need for a holiday stay. the beds were very comfortable and all the bedrooms a good size with En-Suite for the upstairs bedrooms and the main bathroom for the ground floor bedroom - a really lovely bathroom with a fab bath!! The ground floor bedroom facilities are excellent as one of our party is disabled. The views from the front of the house are spectacular and you could stand and stare all day long! We had a couple of small issues - shower and window problem - which were addressed very quickly. We had no problem with WiFi but as on holiday not particularly bothered anyway! The house instruction book was helpful & informative but we struggled to know which bin was for which rubbish and the neighbour did not know for sure either - we just guessed! Also we had hope for more ‘things to do’ leaflets so we could plan our week. We did collect a number over the week and left them for the next visitors. We found the lounge furniture not to be very comfortable but we know that the owners have only just taken over the property and have plans for upgrade and refurbishment. Overall we would highly recommend this property for location, scenery and as a good base for the Western Isles and Lochs beautiful walks and for the more adventurous many more activities are on th doorstep. Lovely tea shop / gifts / art gallery on the main road and a really nice friendly cafe in the centre of Glenco where we had a lovely meal. Wonderful week and would return tomorrow 😀 Thank you.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. We do have a few changes planned for 2018 as we took over the property during 2017. The sofas in the lounge are on the list. Noted re brochures - often wonder whether these are of use given wifi these days. Look forward to welcoming you back again sometime soon.

Beautiful house with amazing views

We had a few bug bears to be honest the pub where we needed to pick the key up was no where near Camus Bhan so that was totally inconvenient and expensive because we couldn't find it and after a long tiring drive was a little much especially as we couldn't get 4G so we couldn't get sat nav either...My sister has her own business and lost sales on her website due to not being able to access the wifi which was an imperative factor when booking as we were already aware of the poor 4G coverage - Had we known there was a problem with wifi there is no way we would have been able to come but we was told as a 'by the way' when we picked up the key rather than a phone call or email prior. We stayed in a house for 7 people yet there was only 6 chairs around the dining table (we purchased a stool so we could all sit together) There were only 4 chairs for outside and no chiminea as advertised - also anyone wishing to use the car port also advertised will find a trailer inside it. The furniture in the front bedroom upstairs had drawers that came unassembled when opening them so we had to spend time putting them together again before using them... they could do with some wood glue to make them more sturdy. Also smelly mops in the cupboard and stagnant water didn't even attempt to use them, the dustpan and brush were outside in the shed. I think our main bone of contention was the lack of sympathy when we enquired about wifi and just informed that we are all in the same boat only they weren't 400 miles away from home losing money they still took ours..., That aside these are things that can be easily rectified. The house itself is lovely and beautifully decorated,it is much bigger than it looks and there was plenty of room for seven of us. The view from the loch across the road is amazing and the place itself is breath taking and dramatically stunning. It was a lovely holiday will come back to the highlands if we can find a nice sandy beach because that's what the children like. I would recommend this property. I would suggest that the key is brought to the guests on arrival or left somewhere closer.

Any negativity seems to have arisen from the wifi issue and we can understand the frustration of not having the service offered. However, BT proved to be as bad as ever in rectifying the fault. We were promised a fix before you arrived though BT signed off the fault they didn't actually check. We spent hours (literally) trying to get BT on the case, both before your arrival in the full expectation that it would be resolved, and during your stay. Appointments were missed, promises broken and it took a very long time to get the wifi up and running. We're sorry, but it was completely out of our control. Key collection is at Clachaig Inn, and we advise of this. Pretty much all our guests will arrive from the south, and it's a very short detour from the A82 to call by. We have a Google on our site to show the locations of property and inn. It's also an opportunity to introduce ourselves. We are looking at providing key safes at our properties, but having experienced this ourselves on trips away we are concerned about the disconnect that it creates between the guest and the property manager. We are close by (about 3 miles from the property) and we're here all day 7 days a week. We're keen to ensure that your stay is as enjoyable as possible. If there are issues we're here to sort them. If you wished to use the car port, it could have been remedied immediately with one phone call, but was never mentioned when discussing the wifi. We suspect that the real issue here is the wifi, and we understand that. We don't offer a chimenea and have never offered one. We're glad that you enjoyed your stay. The location is quite special, and the views spectacular. It is a great house and a great location for a holiday. The nearest beach is at Cuil (about 8 miles) and while there is sand it's limited. There are sandy beaches towards Oban, but for the full beach experience and perhaps some of the best beaches in the UK we would always recommend a day trip towards Arisaig and Mallaig (about 80 mins drive).

In addition, the outlook over Loch Leven with the ever changing tides and light will keep you mesmerised. And if you can draw yourselves away from the view, there are beautiful woodland walks from the back door towards the Glencoe Lochan and the Bridge of Coe.
