Not very comfortable
We stayed here for almost 3 months. Customer service is not friendly. We sent emails for information before arriving and never received replies. Once we arrived, there were a few things wrong (mainly a burnt counter)so we call Canovas. They implied that maybe we brunt it (we reviewed the photos of the apartment later on and saw that there is a cork mat over the burnt spot). They finally did send someone to do the few repairs after we sent an email.
The fold out sofa/bed has to be the worst sofa for sitting on. Very uncomfortable. As a bed it is fine.
The kitchen chairs are the wooden folding kind. Good for an evening but not longer.
Their is a sea view once you go outside but you are behind the Hotel Perla Marina. Also, you never get any sun inside so the apartment is always cold and damp.
In the bedroom the paint is always flaking off the ceiling. The headboard is not attached to the wall properly (my husband fixed this himself) so when it fell off there was a lot of mold behind it. We needed to wash it every week as it kept coming back.
The fan/extractor above the stove does not really do anything except make a lot of noise.
The area is very good, lots of restaurants and walking distance to the Centre of Nerja. You are also very close to the beach.
The apartment is cute at first glance but needs to be made more livable. It is very sparsely equipped. The coffee machine is not as advertised in the photos (it has been replaced by a very small one). It is advertised for 4 people and that is exactly what is supplied (4 knives, forks and spoons etc.). The cabinets around the kitchen sink are all rotting as water is always splashing (the tap needs to be fixed). This apartment would not be comfortable or big enough for 4 people.
Customer service needs to be improved by 100%.
