We were visiting from the U.S. to spend time with our family member who is studying in Santiago and we needed a place for our family to all stay together. This VRBO suited our needs perfectly. The property manager was responsive to any questions we had. The place was clean and included most of the amenities we needed. Although there was a washer, having a dryer would've really helped especially because we tried not to overpack to make room for souvenirs. Drying the clothes on the rack just took too long. Also, the shower faucet upstairs was very difficult to turn and there was no place in the shower to place your soap or shampoos. Having a shower caddy with suction cups would've been very helpful. One last recommendation is to provide an extra set of house keys when there is a family renting so that if family members want to step out at different times, they have keys to get back in. Other than that, the distance to the center of town was very close and worked out well. We also had a beautiful view of the cathedral. We loved our visit to Spain and Santiago de Compostela. Our VRBO rental worked out well. Would recommend it to anyone! Thank you Victor!

Lovely location and property

Overall this apartment is wonderful. The living space, kitchen and bedrooms are all in great condition and very clean. The apartment is pretty spacious and would easily accommodates 6 ppl with the 3 bedrooms. The kitchen had everything you'd need to make a meal and the bathrooms had plenty of towels. Pros: the location really is nice. Whether you step out and go right or left, you end up near the old town or cathedral area within a few minutes walk. The view of the Cathedral is really magical. At night when it is light up, just wonderful. The space is nice for hanging out or sitting around the table with coffee - it is very comfortable. Cons: the outside area is in rough shape with many weeds and discolored walls and stone path. A good power wash and trimming would be an easy fix. Our weather was rain the entire time, so we didn't use this area so not a problem, but it does not look like the picture at all. The directions to get into the place were confusing: grey gate with grey mailbox. There was indeed a grey gate with the address above, but the mailbox was black. We walked down the alley and saw a door, but there wasn't an address or anything indicating this was correct. We called Victor and his aunt came out and met us, but it was 15 min of confusion. It would have been helpful had the instructions said: grey gate with grey mailbox, walk down alley and door is on the left. Press bottom button. Also, having a instruction book or manual for the property would have been helpful. We don't speak spanish and his aunt met us and told us how to lock the door and pointed at the kitchen, but since it was all in spanish we understood as much as we could, but didn't know where to turn the heat on. We reached out to Victor on this and after a few hours he told us the thermostat is in the 2nd bedroom downstairs, but it was very chilly until we figured this out. These are not really complaints, just suggestions for future guests I guess. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who is visiting Santiago.

Leider entsprechen die Bilder nicht dem tatsächlichen Zustand. Im Garten waren keine Gartenmöbel, wie auf den Bilder angegeben, vorhanden. Besteck war auch nicht für alle verfügbar. Die Duschen und Toiletten bedürfen einer Reparatur.

Apartamento muy recomendable

Está muy bien ubicado, es amplio y amueblado con gusto. La cocina está provista de todo lo necesario para cocinar. Lo único a mejorar, porque todo lo demás está muy bien, es arreglar el jardín. Hemos estado cuatro adultos y todo ha sido extraordinario.

Perfect location

This property was the perfect location. It was really close to the park and to the Cathedral. The view of the Cathedral was breathtaking. Bedrooms and kitchen were bright and well stocked with everything we needed. The only problem we had was with the Wifi. It might have just needed to be rebooted. I would definitely stay there again.

Great place

Pros - LOCATION!!!!!! Beautiful view of church and a quick five minute walk to just about anywhere you want to go. Cons - wi-fi basically non existent. It would be nice to have someone who can speak basic English when checking in. A small sign letting us know which apartment would also help. It wasn’t the poor ladies next door first time showing someone the correct apartment. Overall a small price for a great apartment in a wonderful location. Highly recommended.

No instructions about unusual to us electric stove oplperation and manager,although pleasant is slow in English and NO ENGLISH AT ALL lady plus unusual to my ears Spanish who came AFTER we had to phone and to talk to neighbor and wait awhile since NO ONE to let us in.When better and CLEARER (at gate 28B NEXT to gate 28 with a B ringer) systems in place it will be top notch.Gals waiting tables at cafe down the hill and at nearby grocery- 2 good places- are ALL English fluent

Großartig wohnen im Zentrum!

Eigentlich gibts hier nix zu schreiben. Außer vielleicht einer ultimativen Lobhudelei: Klasse Lage, Blick auf die Kathedrale, die Wohnung ist sehr gut eingerichtet, in die Innenstadt sind es 5 Minuten und ein Parkhaus liegt um die Ecke. Sehr sehr zu empfehlen!

Comfortable but Street Noise is High

All was good inside and was as expected. The view of the Cathedral is great. The picture of the back yard is not reflective of the weedy and worn condition. The place was clean and very comfortable inside but is on a very busy street. Despite being at the back of the building you can hear and feel the rumble of traffic on the street. If you are light sleeper you won't be happy.

Great location, good well equipped property

We had a great time in Santiago with the apartment looking out over the cathedral and just a short walk from all of the city centre sights. The apartment is clean, well equipped and spacious. Exactly what a family needs for a base.

This an absolute gem of an apartment.

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the charming Tina, this place lived up to all expectations. We were unsure what to expect from Santiago D.C, but our apartment enabled us to enjoy the old and the new town,with the minimum of effort. The apartment is modern, well equipped, but above all, has the most wonderful view of the Cathedral from the extremely private garden. I genuinely believe, it would be difficult to find a better place to stay. I would also like to thank our host Victor for his immediate responses, and desire to sort out any questions we may have had before, and during our stay. In conclusion, if you are going to Santiago D C,then do yourself a favour and try to rent this spacious comfortable apartment. Wonderful. :-)
