Notre emplacement unique en fait une base idéale pour visiter de nombreuses plages bien connues telles que: Negra, Junquillal, Marbella, Grande et Brasilito pour ne citer que quelques-uns. Chaque maison peut accueillir 6 personnes confortablement. A l'étage vous avez 2 chambres avec salle de bain privée. Tous les deux ont un lit queen size, télévision par câble et de la climatisation. Les chambres donnent sur un grand balcon donnant sur les jardins tropicaux et espace piscine. Ci-dessous, vous avez une salle à manger, cuisine et chambre à coucher avec lit double, télévision par câble, air conditionné et salle de bain complète. La cuisine est entièrement équipée pour tous vos besoins de cuisson. Chaque maison a sa propre place de parking couverte. Les maisons ont été construites avec du bois de teck ici même à Guanacaste, ce qui crée un style de vie plus frais et rustique. La propriété est totalement fermée et très sécurisé. Tous les clients ont accès à la piscine et barbecue. Il est WI-FI pour tout le monde sur la propriété.

Nous sommes entourés par la faune et de la tranquillité. Tous nos clients découvriront cela et bien plus. Il y a des plages, des endroits pour manger, de nombreuses activités, la nourriture et les achats de souvenirs non loin. Sans parler de la nidification des tortues et magnifiques couchers de soleil.

Nous avons la gestion sur place pour vous aider avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Nous offrons canopée, coucher de soleil voile, pêche, golf et bien d'autres activités.

Il y a des espaces de stationnement couverts, une douche extérieure et un grand jardin commun qui est bien entretenu avec beaucoup de feuillage vert, où vous pourrez vous détendre dans la piscine et profiter de la fosse barbecue.

Notre magnifique propriété se trouve à seulement 15 minutes de Playa Tamarindo, une ville de plage bien développé, où vous pouvez faire vos courses et profiter de nombreuses activités, telles que la voile, la pêche, les repas, les achats de cadeaux, yoga, surf (endroit idéal pour les débutants ) et une vie nocturne.
Nous sommes également situés juste à côté (1km) Hacienda Pinilla Resort qui a une classe mondiale de 18 trous de golf conçu par Mike Young, et un incroyable 5 étoiles Beach Club pour votre plaisir.

Coastal Jungle Surf House

The house is very clean, large and everything worked. Nice showers, all the bedrooms have private bathrooms. Pool was great for a swim after the beach. Very secure and a good value.

Mejor Lugar en Avellanas

Hemos quedado en casi todo lugar en Avellanas y al fin encontramos el mejor..se escucha el mar desde su balcon...la attencion excelente...la casa tiene todo para pasarla bien es exactamente como las fotos...apenas que tenemos chance nos vamos a volver a pasar unos dias en este hermoso lugar...Gracias Benito y Jeffrey

If you need to do laundry, don't stay here

The positives: the units were spacious, the pool was great, and the location was private. However, privacy came at the cost of being remote. Experience Avellanas is located 20 min down a rutted, dusty dirt road that can rattle a person's teeth out. Although you weren't far from Tamarindo and a number of lovely beaches, this road made everything seem that much farther away. You also had to drive down this road for a km to get to Playa Avellana. The units were sparsely stocked (e.g., no oven mitts, no sink stoppers, limited dishes). We were supplied a few additional items after asking, but on the whole it felt more like camping than condo living. The biggest issue was Jeffery (the property owner). One of the reasons we chose Experience Avellanas was because laundry facilities were on-site. Our first night there, we asked Jeffery about laundry and he vaguely replied, "no problem we'll work something out". There were 10 people in our group, 4 of which were young children, and we stayed in two of the houses for two weeks. We packed light. After nearly a week of visiting beaches and hiking, we were in serious need of laundry. Jeffery wasn't around that day, so I threw in a load. When Jeffery found out, he was upset that we didn't talk to him first. My husband and I spoke with him and apologized for not running it past him. We explained that we used our own supplies but would still pay a fee for using the facilities. Jeffery said it was fine, it was just that he didn't permit laundry on Sunday's to conserve water. This is completely understandable but this was not posted or communicated anywhere. Additionally, we had just returned from a night in Arenal, so two of the houses were empty for two days. We thought the matter was dealt with but the following morning when another woman in our group asked Jeffery if it would be ok for her family to do some laundry, he lost it on her claiming we were "obsessed with laundry". When she asked why he was being so rude, Jeffery yelled at her, saying he could kick us out at any time. Jeffery lives on site and this soured the rest of our stay. It became a game of avoidance. And we didn't broach laundry again. By the end of the second week, we were so desperate for clean clothes we resorted to hand washing them in the sink. Not the vacation experience I was looking for. 1st lesson learned: I would not recommend Experience Avellanas. 2nd lesson learned: Buy the cancellation insurance!

We do recommend it!

Staying here was definitely a great choice! The property includes four units. We rented two, one for our family, and one for our parents and extended family... We did a lot of cooking, and when we used the bbq, Francisco was of great help! Jeff was also great! He booked a nice fishing trip for me, my father, and my two sons! In sum, the hosts were great, and everything was as promised... We as a family definitely recommend this property...

If you want peace and relaxation, this is for you!

We spent a couple of weeks at this villa, and were very satisfied with both the property, and the managers. We landed at the Liberia Airport on April 5, and rented a car to make it to Avellanas. When we arrived at the property, Francisco welcomed us and showed us around. He was very friendly and helpful from the start, giving us good tips on all things local. We didn't get to see Jeff, our host, but he communicated with us over the phone a couple of times to make sure everything was ok. The villa was very open, with ACs in all rooms. And the wifi was really fast. Now, if you want the noise of a large beach town, this may not be for you (although Tamarindo is just 15 mins away). On the other hand, if you want peace and relaxation, this is totally recommended.

We had a blast, will return!

Avellanas is great! We really enjoyed staying here and visiting the local beaches... Kudos to both Jeff and Francisco for the outstanding attention! The house is big enough for a large family. Everybody slept comfortably, plus the property is very secure. We had a blast at the pool, and the bbq with the other guests was fabulous! Although we just stayed for 3 nights, we want to return next year for a full week!

Great location - private and quiet, close to several beautiful beaches

We spent 5 days in February at this property which was about a 10-15 min drive to the tourist town of Tamarindo. You need to travel down a dusty gravel road to get to the rustic cabins and signage is poor. Easy to miss the turnoff to the little road leading to the entrance gate. Our gatekeeper and onsite manager Benito was friendly and courteous and showed us to our cabin. Unfortunately he only spoke Spanish , so communication was difficult. Would be good to have someone who knew some English to help with the settling in and to answer guests' questions. Kitchen had very few utensils (only 2 dull knives for food prepping), no tea towels and no basic supplies such as salt & pepper. We did make use of the new BBQ by the pool area on 2 occasions which was nice. Would have appreciated soap in the bathrooms and more than 1 bath towel each for our 5 day stay. Would also have appreciated a page of notes with basic info about what to see and do in the area, recommended restaurants, etc. as the onsite manager could not speak English. We got our info by speaking to the guests who were renting the other cabins around us. Internet was basically non existent except for the last 2 days of our stay when it was repaired. Even then, it is slow at best. Beds were comfy and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was much appreciated as it was 35-40 degrees C. when we visited. All in all, we loved the location and close proximity to 3 or 4 fabulous beaches and the town of Tamarindo. It was nice to come home and relax by the pool after a busy day.

Best than a resort, fully recommended!

We stayed at a nice five-star resort in Guanacaste a month prior and as good as that experience was, we are even more pleased with this Avellanas rental. The reason is because you get all the fancy amenities, plus the extra privacy and personal attention. The on-site management guys were great! They provided us with everything we needed, including information on the best places to eat, and which places to visit. Needless to say, this is fully recommended!

Above average, and well priced!

The villa is just as it's shown in the pictures. Above average, and well priced! Both the living room seats and the beds were extremely comfortable. And the wifi was better than at home! It is indeed a very peaceful property and located less than a mile away from a wonderful five-star resort, Hacienda Pinilla. Jeff, our host, booked a full day of activities there for us, and it was better than expected! If you want to enjoy the local beaches, and the best the Avellanas area has to offer, this is it!

Great! We had a wonderful stay!

Wonderful to time with family, very clean , very safe! Super markets and fruit markets within 20 minutes.Lola's at playa avellanas is a close drive , good food cold beer and great beach, white sand and awesome waves! We had a powered outage for a few hours, and there is no generator on the property, but a candle was given to us. ( this is my only complaint) Definitely not the fault of anyone. The Propery manager" Mau" , was friendly and looked after any needs right away. The pool was very well maintained and BBQ was available any time :) thanks!! We would definitely go back!!

Amazing Costa Rican retreat!

The property is amazing with a very clean pool and the nessaccary amenities (washer,dryer,full kitchen and bathrooms). We had two of the villas for 11 people for our wedding party, and it worked out very well for us. We loved to cook on the gas grill and hangout in the pool at night. Since you are a bit further from the main towns, the stars are so bright! Thank you, Jeff! for being our host and introducing us to la Pura Vida!! We will be back!

Fully pleased!

The second time we visited Costa Rica, we decided to rent this spacious beach house located in Avellanas, Guanacaste. The property is very nice and well taken care of. There is on-site maintenance, and the common areas include a large pool, and a bbq. I am not sure if the reason why those beds felt so comfortable was because we went to sleep extremely tired after a full day of outside activities, but we certainly appreciate the comfort provided as it is clear that the owners went the extra mile on this respect. The house is inside a private and fully gated property, located in a secluded, peaceful area. With that said, if you are staying here, we recommend you to come with your own transportation so you can explore the surrounding beaches. These vacations in Costa Rica were unforgettable for our family, and staying at this house was definitely an important part of the whole experience. Fully pleased!

High quality and good price!

I rarely write a review for a place I have visited in the past, but I felt like leaving a small contribution for this particular house because Jeffrey, our host, definitely went the extra mile to make us feel incredibly comfortable. Needless to say, everything at the house was as advertised. Kitchen was perfect, and the rooms were spotless clean. We stayed here for just four days, but we plan to rent this property again probably around September. If you are looking for a combination of high quality and good price, this is it!

Amazing property, excellent hospitality!

Me and my family are considering to relocate to Costa Rica in the near future, but before we decided this is the right move for us, we wanted to take a trip to the area and experience it for ourselves. This is the property we chose to rent for our one-week trip. It is located in one of the best areas of the pacific coast of CR: Playa Avellanas, Guanacaste. Once we got there after a short trip from the Liberia Airport, we were welcomed by Jeff, whom had previously booked the property for us over the web. The house is all that is promised on the internet, and more. Plus Jeff happened not only to be an excellent host, but also an amazing adviser. He provided us with all the information that we needed about the area, and also booked a couple of thrilling, adventurous trips for our family of four. After staying here, we decided that relocating to Costa Rica was indeed a choice we wanted to make, and the local hospitality just made our decision an easier one. Thanks to Jeff and all the people that we met in CR for all the help and guidance!

Great, inexpensive upscale property!

My parents, my wife and I made the trip to Costa Rica early April, and decided to rent this wonderful house from Jeffrey, who turned out to be an excellent host. Although this wasn’t our first visit to CR, or to Guanacaste, this was the first time we paid this kind of fairly low prices for this type of upscale accommodation. From the moment you enter the gates of the compound, both Jeffrey and Mauricio (the caretaker) make you feel like you are a VIP guest. The services provided, and the house itself, both were great. Completely satisfied

Wonderful beach house!

We just returned from our vacation in CR, and we couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The property offers lots of privacy and tranquility. The house itself is fancy and beautiful, though the price is just right. From the host, to the house, and the location, we certainly believe that we made the right choice when we picked this Avellanas beach house. We highly recommend this property, and we hope we can comeback in the near future!

All we needed and more!

This is a nice 4-unit gated complex, and it's located in a secluded, private street. There is a nice pool that we used daily. There we met Karen and Michael, a couple of Britons that were really friendly, and even joined us for a couple nights out at Tamarindo. The wildlife around the complex is vibrant. Lots of howler monkeys and iguanas! The house is very clean, and comes fully furnished with all we needed to spend a wonderful vacation. This house and its surrounding beaches are definitely a small oasis in Central America. Highly recommended!

Great vacation in CR!

This house came with everything we required to spend a great vacation, and since we are a family of 5, we really appreciated that there was a separate bathroom for each one of the 3 available rooms. Our host, Jeffrey, arranged an amazing canopy tour for the whole family, and the nearby beaches were nothing short of spectacular. Me, my wife and our 3 kids are all thrilled with the experience, and we have decided to come back here when we take our annual trip next February.

Very pleased with the experience

This house was the right choice. We knew it the minute we met Jeffrey, our host. He booked a couple of fishing trips for us and was very helpful during our stay. Same goes for Mauricio, the other on-site host. We met other guests at the pool, and Mauricio helped us all to organize an amazing bbq. We always felt safe as the property is very secure. The rooms were spacious; and I liked that each had its own bathroom. Tamarindo is just a short drive away. We did our grocery shopping there, and also dined at some great local restaurants. We are really pleased with the experience, and we definitely plan to return.
