Amazing apartment at a great location, downtown in walking distance. Host Frederick is very nice and helpful. We strongly recomend this place if you are visiting Dallas
Lovely place. Owners on same site. Well equipped kitchen, heating worked well (late September visit so we didn't use the pool). Good sized bathroom and lots of hot water. Overall a lovely place to stay.
We already have a static in France, but my husband wanted somewhere with a private pool that was also dog friendly. This fitted the bill completely. It was for my birthday, so it was a lovely treat. We just relaxed, had bbq's, swam in the pool, the weather was gorgeous so the pool was a steady 25most days. Just a shame it wasnt ready when we arrived. Hadnt been cleaned or the heating turned on. Soon sorted once we phoned someone who came out the following day. But all together we had a lovely stay and anything you could possibly need was there, from garden games, bikes, to Books, DVD''s, etc.
It was nice but it was not possible to make darkness in the main bedroom
. So it was not easy to fall asleep.
I already mentioned it to the owner.
Otherwise everything was ok.
We spent a wonderful week here with 2 small children. The property and grounds are beautiful. We were made to feel very welcome with essentials already in the fridge and even a bottle of wine! The bed was one of the comfiest I have slept in. The hosts have really thought about all the little details to make a great stay. Stairgates, dishwasher, plenty of garden games, wifi and sky all made our family stay very relaxing. The pool was a wonderful addition and watching the combine harvester work in the field opposite was a treat for the children. We hope to return!

When we bought this property it was a series of old farm buildings and was completely overgrown but there was something that appealed to us and we could see the potential for building something lovely - we believe we have achieved this!
Whether you want a peaceful, relaxing break or a more active time, you will find it here. We are between the 2 towns of Carhaix and Rostrenen in a sleepy village. But if you want to get to the coast or explore the history of Brittany, you will be well situated. The garden pool is heated for comfort to approximately 25C, but it should be noted that in the event of heavy rains the temperature will drop until the heater can warm the rain through! There are a number of garden games and bikes available for you to enjoy. You can go canoeing locally and there are a number of excellent riding centres nearby. The lake at Guerledan is a short drive away where you can swim or hire a boat - https://www.brittanytourism.com/destinations/the-10-destinations/heart-of-brittany-kalon-breizh/lac-de-guerledan/ The Valley of the Saints are a fascinating day out a little further from Carhaix - https://www.brittanytourism.com/destinations/the-10-destinations/heart-of-brittany-kalon-breizh/the-valley-of-the-saints/ Douarnenez is about a 45 minutes away and is a great place to visit with a beautiful beach. There are many excellent restaurants at the port - https://www.brittanytourism.com/destinations/the-10-destinations/quimper-cornouaille/douarnenez/ Huelgoat is a fairytale place to visit and is so worth a day trip - https://www.brittanytourism.com/destinations/the-10-destinations/heart-of-brittany-kalon-breizh/huelgoat/ There are just a few amazing places within easy reach but Central Brittany is a wonderful place to explore.
