Tanera Plus a Ă©tĂ© construit comme une maison de pĂȘcheurs il ya environ 180 ans et a conservĂ© de nombreuses caractĂ©ristiques originales. La situation sur le rivage de la Moray Firth, il est un endroit idĂ©al pour passer du temps simplement admirer les vues et la lumiĂšre changeante sur la mer. TrĂšs bien situĂ© pour de nombreuses activitĂ©s de plein air. Marche, cyclisme, voile, observation des oiseaux, golf et l'Ă©quitation peuvent tous ĂȘtre apprĂ©ciĂ© localement. Il ya quelques excellents musĂ©es locaux pour les jours pluvieux et de bons restaurants se trouvent dans Fortrose, Munlochy et Cromarty. La capitale des Highlands d'Inverness est Ă  seulement 10 miles de distance et les croisiĂšres en bateau sur le Loch Ness sont toujours populaires. Picte ancienne demeure parsĂšment le paysage de cette zone qui est essentiellement agricole. Il est un moyen de porte parfait pour la cĂŽte ouest pour une journĂ©e Ă  l'Ăźle de Skye et la beautĂ© de la cĂŽte ouest plus robuste.

Suzana has a beautiful cozy cottage with a peaceful view over the water. Her cottage has everything you need along with thoughtful little pieces here and there for your enjoyment. If you’re looking for something authentic, peaceful with lovely little villages about, this is the place.

Lovely Fisherman Cottage

Suzana met us at her cottage, explained how all the switches worked and provided all sorts of helpful information about her cottage and the area. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed to prepare meals. It was comfortable and warm and very clean. Watching the water frrom the cottage was really special. Would definitely go back again.

Great little cottage !

The hostess, Suzana was very friendly and informative. The cottage was quiet and central to so many sites. It was well equipped, wonderful views to the water. We loved it and would happily stay there again.

Great base for the Black Isle!

Cottage was cozy warm and very well equipped. Loads of character and lovely wild garden that the grandsons loved. The beach across the road was ideal too.

Cozy Cottage

The cottage was renovated and well done. It was really quite comfortable and the backyard was wonderful! Suzana was very diligent, having met us at check in to explain the ins and outs of her cottage. She was really easy to communicate with via whats ap. We very much appreciated her. I will say anyone over 5' 9" ish will find the bathroom doorway tricky. My husband and I are both over 5' 9" and despite the well placed warning sign to mind our heads, we still hit them a couple of times. The only other thing to be aware of is that a washer and dryer are listed as available in the cottage, but it's just a washer. The clothes line outside is where we had to hang our clothes to dry. Other than that, we would recommend staying with Suzana!

A Short Sottage Stay

Suzana was a most gracious and helpful host. She made check in very easy and was very accommodating. The cottage is lovely and had everything that we (a family of four) needed for our stay. The neighborhood was lovely and we enjoyed our walks around and the just taking in the beautiful scenery. Thank you so much!

Avoch Cottage

What a great stay ! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Suzana, we felt we were home. The beautiful gardens in the back, the comfortable furnishings in the house and the ever changing firth to the front, the location is a true gem. AMAZING - BOOK YOUR STAY

We had an absolutely amazing stay. Suzana was wonderful, meeting us with a big smile, great personality, and suggestions for our visit. The cottage is very cute and comfortable. It is in a great location to explore the surrounding area (Black Isle, highlands, etc). We even saw dolphins in the sea nearby! Only minor hiccup is that there is a washing machine but no dryer (we got lucky and it was sunny so we could hang-dry), but honestly other than that it was perfect.

Best Ever!

It’s difficult to describe what a fantastic cottage this is. Charming, clean, comfortable and completely updated. The location was perfect for exploring the Highlands but we mostly enjoyed staying put, walking the beach and watching the wildlife. Suzana is the perfect host, making sure all our needs were met while being highly responsive. I’ve stayed in many short-term rentals and this was probably the best experience ever.

Beautiful little cottage

We had a lovely 3 nights staying here. Suzy was amazing from the start - excellent communication and the bottle of wine and shortbread was a lovely tough and really appreciated. The cottage was spotless and the interior was so cosy with a sea view. I literally sat eating my breakfast looking at waves directly out the front of the house. The house had everything you could possibly need. Great wee place and would definitely return.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Tanera More is the ideal "Highland cottage by the sea". The village of Avoch has always been a fishermans cove and the small harbour continues to support a small community of fisherman plus a new generation of pleasure trips to see the dolphins. This part of the Moray Firth enjoys a mild climate sheltered from the open seas by Channory Point, and the area is abundant in wild life. The Cairngorm mountains to the south are covered in snow during the winter months and lure out door enthusiasts. Local culture of legend and folklore are on the door step and intriguing Pictish remains dot the landscape. Sandy beaches are close by in Rosemarkie and there's golfing in Fortrose. It's the perfect holiday getaway, yet is only 10 miles from the amenities of Inverness.
