Sur le détroit - Little Pond PEI

Ceci est un chalet entièrement équipé de 4 chambres, 2. 5 salles de bain. Il a été achevé au printemps 2016.
Il y a 2 chambres principales avec lits king size, 1 chambre avec lits superposés et 1 chambre avec 2 lits jumeaux.
1 chambre principale est séparée de la maison principale par une véranda, pour assurer l'intimité. Ses portes s'ouvrent sur le pont spacieux.
Il y a un grand pont face à l'océan. Il y a un patio avec une table de pique-nique fabriquée localement, pour profiter du déjeuner de l'après-midi ainsi qu'une terrasse plus près de l'eau pour une observation plus facile de l'océan!

Stunning property (even better than the pictures), clean and well stocked kitchen. Many hours spent in the ocean at high tide and low tide with the most spectacular sunsets. We love this property and will certainly be back !

Quiet Paradise

True Paradise

Beautiful house in a fantastic location. Quiet. Tranquil. Close to everything you need. Amazing access to the water with several sandy beaches nearby. Comfortable beds and a well equipped cottage - everything a family needs for an amazing vacation. We plan to return!

Beautiful home with breathtaking views.

We had a wonderful time. PEI is a magical place of rural beauty. The house was pretty much perfect. Our grandson loved all the toys and we had great walks. My favorite place was sitting on the Adirondack chair in the sun with a good book.

A little piece of paradise

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home! The home was clean, cozy and beautifully designed. The beach provided endless hours of fun. The location was great as it was very quiet, yet we were a short drive to Souris and Montague. We loved it so much we tried to extend our stay! Unfortunately, the property was already booked for another family. We will definitely be back!

Paradise ‘On the Strait’

From the moment we walked in we knew we had found our bit of ‘Paradise’ in P.E.I. A very private, peaceful location with a spectacular red sandy beach that our 4 year old granddaughter enjoyed daily, discovering all the sea life at low tide. The house is gorgeous! Spacious and clean. Peter and Alena have been so thoughtful ensuring their guests are comfortable. This house has all the amenities one needs, just bring your suitcase.......relax and enjoy your stay ‘on the strait’ L & G. Ottawa Ontario

Memorable Family Vacation

We had an amazing time here. It is so peaceful. We were a group of 7 (2 adults, 2 young kids, 3 grandparents) and it was perfect for our group size. The location on the water is awesome. The tide goes out far and many mornings and evenings we enjoyed long tidal walks where our kids got to see cool jellyfish, shells, crabs, etc. The house is well stocked with everything you could need. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we’ve seen at a rental property. The shed had lots of things for the kids (nets, bubbles, kite, etc). We visited lighthouses nearby. The town of Souris is not too far when you need to get groceries. The owner/manager was super helpful. She even helped us get a contact for a drive back to the airport. Overall an amazing vacation. Would highly recommend this house.

I shouldn't be writing this because I don't want the secret to get out!

We have been lucky enough to enjoy "On the Strait" for two years now, and cannot heap enough praise on this property to do it justice. Private, tranquil, serene, cozy, comfortable, and spacious, only just begin to describe this little gem. Loads of room for 8 (although we have only ever maxed out at 6), nobody gets underfoot...plenty of bedrooms and beds, all outfitted with fresh, new linens. Public spaces (living, dining, foyer, decks) are more than spacious and again accessorized with the newest of conveniences. More than enough outdoor family areas, be they the porch or "island" in the lawn, just steps from the beach, outfitted with sturdy, old-school Adirondack chairs, hand-hewn timber benches, or solid timber picnic table. We have been just the 2 of us, or, as stated above, up to six...but have easily hosted family dinners of 14. Home is also outfitted with state-of-the-art wireless music system, Sonos, Netflix, Cable, or baskets of games (and we played almost all of them!), or just sit in the big, oversized round chair for two, reading, with the windows open and sea air whistling through. I could go on and on...Owners are lovely, accommodating folks who have always communicated clearly and without hesitation. I'm a little sad for weeks after I leave!! You will be too :)

Holiday on Paradise

Everything was beyond our expectations. Such an amazing and well appointed and stocked kitchen with everything we needed, it couldn't have been any better. The cleanliness of the cottage was A+, and the view of the ocean was spectacular. The linens were of the best quality and there were plenty of towels available. We will recommend this vacation home to any of our family, friends and acquaintances who may be travelling to PEI in the future. We wouldn't hesitate to book again. Thank you Alena for all your help, your response to our questions were quick and very helpful. We enjoyed every minute we spent there.

Beautiful House + Location

We loved our time in Little Pond. The house and property were very quiet and had spectacular views. The kids enjoyed low tide on the beach, as well as the games/toys that were in a separate room. We were able to make most of our meals in the kitchen - which had all the gadgets and cooking pans/pots that I needed. Thank you again for a spectaular week!

Fantastic spot!

Our family had the best time at 206 Paradise Drive! Plenty of space, equipped with everything we could think of and more. Such a relaxing environment that we spent more than half of our time in the area vs. travelling to tourist attractions. Our host was great to communicate with and very helpful answering any of our questions. Highly recommend this A++ rental!

Vacation

Property is beautiful and has everything needed for a comfortable stay for a large family. Nice quiet location, but it does get a little buggy at dusk, which makes it difficult to enjoy a fire at night. Near water that is to be expected though. We had a family of six and had plenty of room, and everything is provided to be able to cook. We did visit family in Souris, so it was perfect location to enjoy waterfront also. I would stay here again if we go back.

Tranquil getaway… perfect spot!

We were so happy with the cottage (exceeded our expectations), it was clean, spacious & everything anyone could possibly need is provided. The view, sound of the ocean, & outdoor seating are very impressive & allowed for maximum enjoyment. The thoughtfulness of Alena & Peter & excellent communication was appreciated. We will be back again to enjoy this piece of paradise.

Beautiful Holiday Spot

Wonderful new and spacious home on the ocean. Sit on the porch and watch the ocean life! Beautiful large yard to enjoy as well. So peaceful and relaxing. A great vacation spot with very accommodating owners who do their best in every way to supply everything you would need for a great holiday!

Beautiful Cottage

We had a great stay and we have to say this is the best stocked cottage we have ever stayed in. The cottage itself is very well done - modern, lots of space and a fully stocked kitchen for those who enjoy cooking. We highly recommend this property to anybody considering a cottage in the area!

Wonderful PEI

The rental process was very smooth, the owners were quick to respond to any emails and very accommodating! The house was simply amazing! The design was perfect and we loved all the small details. The views were stunning. The whole family had many great explorations into the bay, wonderful treasures were found and lasting memories were made. The location was central to the East side of the island but still a short scenic drive to Cavendish. Thank you for such a wonderful vacation

Relax in STYLE1

The beautifully appointed and well-stocked cottage, On The Strait was the scene for the most relaxing family vacation we have experienced in some time. The beach is fantastic! As well, the owners are conscientious, responding in a timely fashion to all of our questions. The property manager, Lori-Ann was so kind and helpful and did a wonderful job of helping us with a couple of special requests. The Island, its people and its vibe superb, but this cottage MADE the trip over-the-top wonderful. Thank you, Alena and Peter.

Outstanding vacation home

Both the home and the location are as beautiful as they appear in the photos. Amazing site right on the water with incredible tides. On the more peaceful side of the island but lots to do and see in the immediate vicinity. We were a group of adults but this is also a great place for families with young kids.

We have chosen to build a property and vacation in PEI because of the unparalleled beauty and tranquility of the area. We came to visit friends a few years ago when they built their cottage next door, and fell in love with the area and the people. We decided that we wanted to be a part of this special corner of Canada.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This property is located on the eastern part of the island. The islanders are welcoming, the seafood fresh and the golf fantastic. Travelling and exploring the island by bike or by car is just as attractive as sitting by the ocean and reading a book. Time seems to slow down in PEI, allowing one to take in the beautiful scenery and treasure it that much longer.
