Grand bungalow indépendant et jardin dans le village avec pubs et boutique

"Le Cottage" est un bungalow spacieux situé dans le parc de notre maison en bordure du village. Isolé et spacieux, c'est l'endroit idéal pour une pause. Il bénéficie de la proximité d'un magasin et de pubs servant de la bonne nourriture tout en conservant un cadre très rural. Offrant un haut niveau d'hébergement pour les familles et les couples. Le grand salon offre de l'espace pour tout le monde quel que soit le temps tandis que le joli jardin offre un vrai sentiment d'être à la campagne, vous pourriez même avoir de la chance et obtenir la visite de l'un des cerfs Muntjac locaux! La ville historique de Cambridge est à seulement 17 ml et la belle cathédrale d'Ely à 15 ml. Il existe de nombreuses réserves naturelles et d'oiseaux sur place et un accès facile à la rivière pour ceux qui aiment passer du temps sur l'eau. Un sac de pique-nique est disponible pour ceux qui prévoient une sortie et la propriété bénéficie d'une connexion wifi / internet gratuite.

The generous sized kitchen was well equipped and provided more than the mere essentials. Dishwasher and washing machines were very easy to use and efficient. There were also lovely touches that made the kitchen feel very homely and welcoming.

The Cottage is well appointed, in a good position with a lovely garden. It is ideally situated for visiting St Ives, Cambridge, Ely and Wicken Fen. Great stay.

Very well equipped, comfortable house with beautiful garden.The host was friendly and very helpful .We were happy to be left to get on with our hoilday knowing we could contact them anytime.We really liked the area around St Ives , great for walks and bike rides.The park and ride next to the guided bus route into Cambridge was so well organised.

Perfect family-friendly accommodation

A perfect location for our young family for a stay over Christmas, with plenty space and private garden views. Lyn is an excellent host, and the Cottage is a wonderfully presented property. Everything we needed was provided. We had a very comfortable stay and hope to return in future.

Ideal Stay!

We stayed at the Cottage- a lovely place in a quiet neighborhood. Lyn was an amazing host- even left us a bottle of wine and cake as a welcome gift. We didn’t cook during our stay, but the kitchen seemed very well equipped. Bed and linens were very comfortable and the cottage was very clean. Our favorite part about this place was the private garden. We would love to stay here again!

Lovely house, great location

Brilliant- house had everything that we needed and Lyn was super helpful. The garden is marvellous and the village has tennis courts and table tennis tables and a great park for kids ( plus a shop and two pubs). Easy to get into Cambridge and the guided bus was excellent!

The Cottage Needingworth Cambridgeshire

We had a wonderful time staying at this lovely home whilst visiting our family in England (we live in the USA) Lyn & Eric were lovely & made sure our stay was great,nothing was too much trouble. The house itself is a great size & worked perfectly for us, our Daughter & Granddaughter & the beautiful garden was perfect to host our family who came to visit us. There was lots of wildlife too, which we love. All in all the perfect location. We will definitely visit again & highly recommend this place

Welcoming Cottage

Lovely house in beautiful surroundings. Garden is just lovely and it’s so very private. In nice rural area with very easy access to larger towns and many National Trust buildings to enjoy. Would definitely stay there again if ever in the area. Very much appreciated the bottle of wine and the cookies left for us by the owners, Lyn and Eric who were so very nice and made us feel welcome.

Wonderful, clean, well equipped and peaceful. The house and gardens are extremely private. We really enjoyed our stay and used the house as a base to attend our son's wedding. We were able to host guests and have quiet time to ourselves. Lyn was extremely helpful and not intrusive all was perfect Perfect!

EXCELLENT PROPERTY

The property was excellent in every way , very clean and well furnished. Warm welcome by the owner. We were well impressed with the Park and Ride into Cambridge from near by St Ives using the guided "Bus Way" .We will certainly be back next year for our Holiday and would recommend it to other people. Lovely cottage in a peaceful location

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage! The accommodation was spacious and very clean.The living room was comfortable, and opens onto a large garden. We only met Lyn briefly when we arrived, but she was very welcoming, and we were always able to contact her via email if we needed to. Needingworth itself is quite small, but St Ives is only a few minutes away. Cambridge, Ely and Wicken Fen are all about 30 mins drive. A great place to stay if you enjoy peace and quiet and would like to explore the Cambridge area. We would definitely stay here again!

Second visit

This is our second time of staying at "The Cottage" and we are never disappointed with the presentation of the bungalow, it is kept to a very high standard and it is just like coming home each time we come to stay. Lyn makes you feel that you are on holiday but she is near by if you require any help. We are unable to return in 2017 but hope to return in 2018 for another holiday and if the weather is as good as we have had this year then we shall once again enjoy our stay at the Cottage. Beautiful property clean,well decorated, comfortable, very well equipped and quiet location

We would recommend this property 100% for its quality and amazing location , its includes all the the things that make it not only a house but a home from home. The minute you walk through the door you know your stay is going to be an enjoyable experience, and the owner was there to answer any questions you may have about both the house or info about the surrounding area . She proved to be so friendly and helpful especially when I needed company when worried about my husband who'd had a major op at Papworth Hospital a 20 mins drive away . The nearest large supermarket is only 5 mins drive and nearby St Ives is a beautiful bustling market town and of course the park and ride for Cambridge is 10 mins drive away . So for me a perfect property, perfect location wonderful welcome Thank you Lyn

Large cottage in quiet location

This bungalow is very spacious but in need of some TLC. The garden has many trees which in our opinion are in need of a visit from an arborist. They cut out a lot of light to the property. Unfortunately whilst we were there , we had quite a lot of rain overnight which overflowed the gutters and noisily dropped on the window sill. The owner did come round and did his best to fix it . The location is very good for exploring the area, lots to do within an hour or so drive , the cottage has everything you need and is very comfortable.

Perfect place for area

Our stay at Lyn and Eric’s place was the perfect accommodation for our family of five. The house is very spacious, we were all able to have a space to go to for some time alone. It was great to have two toilets and a huge full bathroom. The kitchen is supplied with everything you need to cook and store groceries. The garden is absolutely beautiful and great for a tea or coffee and to sit out in the sun. The area is beautiful with close proximity to shops and restaurants and nature preserves to explore. Obviously, Cambridge is not too far. Overall, when we are able to return to visit our family and friends we hope to reserve the Cottage again. Thank you Lyn and Eric.

A week away from it all

A comfortable, spacious bungalow that had an equally spacious garden in which wildlife was a feature - birds and the occasional grey squirrel, all located in a quite village.

My husband and I have lived in Cambridgeshire for many years and brought up our family here. We moved to our present home in 2006 after falling in love with it. The setting is just lovely and still puts a smile on our faces every time we enter the drive. We hope you will enjoy spending time here as much as we do!
