Excellent accommodation - quiet location - good amenities close by eg shops/pubs. Perfect with dog - appreciated being able to freely use the lawn to dog walk and parking excellent.
Although very close to owners property felt privacy was respected
Weâd definitely book again
We stayed in "Crabapple" for 3 nights and were able to travel to see our son and his family in a nearby village in no more than 10 minutes. They were unable to accommodate us as they are in the process of having an extension constructed and their house is uninhabitable. Our hosts extended the stay at very sort notice by one night which was very generous. An issue with the room we originally booked was resolved very quickly.
We were after self-catering accommodation and met our needs well.
Kitchen well stalked with utensils and also a fridge.
Great location in quiet village and easy access to main roads.
Lovely pub 2 minute walk and serves good food.
The location and facilities were more than what we hoped for. Very clean and well equipped, the perfect place to stay. I just wish we have had more time to explore the area.
We spent five nights at Wallis Farmhouse this week while visiting family in Hardwick. It's ideal for this purpose, as we only really needed a place to sleep. I'd have liked to have had an option for breakfast, as we were really hungry one morning, but I'm glad it wasn't included since we would only have done it maybe once or twice. Hard to find places for breakfast in the village.
Found Wallis Farmhouse after a previous booking cancelled our reservation. Couldn't be more delighted. Perfect for my husband and I and adult daughter to attend Cambridge Folk Festival which, although a distance away, proved to be a quick and easy drive each day. We stayed in Crabapple. A little small for three adults but had everything we needed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
This was our third time at Wallis farm. The accommodation is perfect for us. The setting is picturesque and close to Cambridgeshire where there is lots to do. Would highly recommend a stay here.
Stayed two nights to visit my uncle in a nearby village. Great to be five minutes up the road from him and not have to fight across Cambridge from other locations.
Crab apple cottage had everything we needed. We didnât cook as we ate with my uncle but there was two rings and a combination oven/microwave should we want to. Toaster and fridge also useful. Lovely beds great to separate the kids! Nice gardens to walk in. Would recommend highly and have already!
Lovely location perfect for exploring the area & visiting family
2 days visiting family & exploring Cambridge so was perfect for us & facilities good except would have liked a cooked breakfast option but we had an enjoyable couple of days & would love to stay there again
Very clean and comfortable with everything needed for a short break. Convenient location to Cambridge and the surrounding countryside. Within a short distance of the Cambridge Ring and Ride. Lovely location.
