The apartment was great. Very clean. It was spacious and had everything you could possibly think of. There were lots of great restaurants close by. Lagos old town was only about a 20 minute walk. Parking was fantastic. Catarina and Ken were great hosts and we definitely recommend their place.

This apartment in Lisbon was great for our family of 2 adults and 2 teenage boys. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 washrooms was perfect and air conditioning in both rooms was amazing during the hot Lisbon summer. Check in process was smooth and Elisa was very responsive. Great location for walking around Lisbon with lots of restaurants and pastry shops nearby. One thing to note is that Lisbon charges a tourist tax of 4 Euros per person and that was not included in the VRBO reservation total so needs to be paid on check-out.I would definitely recommend this apartment and would stay here again.

Wonderful Stay – Spacious, Clean, and Felt Just Like HomeOur stay at this home was absolutely excellent. The house was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed — the kitchen was fully stocked with all the supplies and tools you could ask for, which made cooking easy and enjoyable.It truly felt like a home away from home. Maria was incredibly helpful and attentive to all our requests, making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.The location was also very convenient, with a grocery store nearby, which made daily shopping simple and stress-free.I strongly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, well-equipped, and welcoming home. Delightful Lagos Stay

We were delighted with the condo as it delivered exactly what we were looking for. The neighborhood was terrific with cafes, restaurants, a mini neighborhood mercado as well as nearby large supermarkets. Close to "old town", but not too close. What few issues arose, we quickly resolved thanks to the owners and the property manager. Would do it again!

Our stay here couldn't have been more ideal.

We couldn't have been happier with our stay here. Maria couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We felt this location was ideal...it was in a wonderful small quiet neighborhood close to everything but away from the heavier tourist areas. We had rented a car, but I walked everywhere. It was nice to leave the car at the condo and not have to worry about finding parking. The old town area was about a half mile walk, Praia dos estudantes beach and the entrance to the boardwalk were about .7 miles, 1.2 miles to Ponta da Piedade, 1.3 miles to the marina. The condo was spotless and had everything we needed. We really liked having the washer and dryer. We found a little cafe a block away called Sunrays Kitchen that we fell in love with and ate there daily. Our stay here was just heaven.

We would definitely rent here again. The is a bus stop across the street and a cafe next door which is excellent. Lots of parking for a car. Downtown is walkable from here if you’re in good shape otherwise use the bus. Very spacious apartment with everything one would need. Thank you for sharing your place with us.

Property Homely and area good but building noisy

Accommodation was fine but had problems with noise from from neighbours. Old couple who live in one of garages below sat under balcony for 2 days shelling nuts with a hammer. Residents alongside played tv virtually 24/7 with frequent arguments. Footfall from above by people walking ,moving furniture and children running was final straw. In end we left early.

Sweet Home Away From Home

We absolutely loved our stay. Portugal has our hearts and we felt so at home in your special place. Every comfort of home you could imagine. Spacious, quiet, clean. The location was perfect. Anything you need is close by. We could easily walk anywhere within 20 minutes. We walked to Old town, Beaches, Marina, Ponta da Piedade trail. The #9 bus is right across the street. We took it downtown a couple of times, only a 6 minute ride. We rented a car, which allowed us to explore other areas of the Algarves. Easy access to the highways. And a 5 minute drive to anywhere in town. Maria checked us in and she was so flexible with our last minute changes in our itinerary and was available if we had any questions or concerns during our stay. I would highly recommend this property and will be recommending to anyone I know going to the area. Thank you for sharing your property for a perfect home away from home.

Not recommendable due to cleanliness

On our arrival we found the apartment in an unacceptable condition in terms of minimum cleanness and hygiene standards. Major objections: 1. Kitchen - The coffee machine was totally dirty with a semi-composted coffee filter from (hopefully) the last guests. - Food scraps in the sink from last supper of previous guests. - Food scraps in microwave and at the dishes in drawers! - Mold and leftovers in the fridge - A cabinet full of partly used cornflakes, noodles and whatsoever. Age unknown. - All kitchen utensils practically unusable because sticky, greasy and/or afflicted with visible food scraps. 2. Bathrooms - Sink, shower and bathtub joints covered with mold. Dirt and hair everywhere. 3. Bedrooms - Sand and thick layer of dust on the floor. Sand in the cabinets and drawers. - About 1/3 of the bedroom cabinets are crammed with sheets, blankets and other textiles partially stuffed into plastic bags. The smell of old sweat suggests that it is at least partly not cleaned laundry or lying there for years. Even though the property manager tried to fix our major complaints in a 1h cleaning session, the overall cleanness situation of the apartment was still intolerable and leads us even to the decision to leave the apartment already a week earlier than actually booked. -First time ever on all of our travels. In the meantime, we restricted the use of the apartment to a minimum and waived on e.g. the use of the kitchen as far as possible. Fortunately we know local people who could help on short notice to get a clean apartment for our remaining stay in Lagos. All the quoted complaints with corresponding photos have been submitted to the apartment owners at once. However aside from some general apologies no actual compensation has been offered by the owners for the inconveniences caused. In a summary the cleanliness of the apartment could have been a fact of the past, but unfortunately far from the situation we found at present.

Lovely stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was wide, very clean and quiet, with a very nice balcony. A lot of equipment was offered. Plus, the person who welcomed us was very kind and helpful. A perfect place to discover Lagos and its surrundings !
