We so much enjoyed staying in your stone cottage. It has 3 bedrooms upstairs with a bath in the master and on the main floor level is a laundry room with shower, sink and then an enclosed toilet. There were 5 of us. The living room, kitchen and sunroom were perfect. The location was great for 75th D Day ceremonies and museums. We traveled up from Mont St Michel (stayed a night there) and it was about a 90 minute drive. The kitchen had everything we needed and then more for cooking, coffee and wine in the evening....the little town is so close and has some very nice restaurants. We enjoyed the English TV you subscribe to so we could watch the visit of our President to England. The cottage was very clean and we had not problem checking in or finding it. Amanda gives you detailed maps and her check in information had everything we needed.
Thank you Amanda for an incredible stay and we hope we will be back.
We also found out our Dad went through La Haye du Puits during the D Day invasion.
The house was perfect for exploring Normandy, attending the 80th anniversary of D Day events, and relaxing. Easy access to all WWII sites, beaches and the coasts as well as markets, restored castles and beautiful countryside. The house was exactly as described. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
wir haben es sehr genossen, vorallem mit dem Garten fĂŒr unsere zwei grossen Hunde.
Nichts auszusetzen, ausser dass man die Sofas im Wintergarten erneuern könnte, da diese teils stark abblÀttern.
