Cette adorable maison de Cape Cod avec vue sur l'eau allie beauté et intimité et se trouve dans un emplacement parfait, à proximité de tout ce que le Cap a à offrir.
- Situé sur le magnifique Deep Pond dans la ville de Falmouth, ce joli Cap en bardeaux qui surplombe un étang cristallin propice à la baignade, la pêche, le canoë et le kayak.
- Amenez votre chien en vacances. Un cadre familial parfait qui comprend une petite cour arrière clôturée, un sous-sol complet avec accès à l'étang. Notre maison peut accueillir confortablement jusqu'à 12 personnes. Avec cent pieds de front de lac, nous incluons 5 kayaks, chaises de plage, hamac et chaloupe. Il y a trois chambres à l'étage chacune avec un lit queen size. Il y a une chambre / salon au premier étage avec un lit futon double gigogne.
Dans le sous-sol fini du rez-de-chaussée, il y a quatre lits jumeaux spécialement conçus pour les enfants / petits-enfants. À l'étage, il y a une salle de bain complète et une deuxième salle de bain complète dans la chambre principale. Il y a une troisième salle de bain au premier étage.
- Belle Old Silver Beach est à seulement dix minutes en voiture et Chapoquoit Beach et Scenic Falmouth Beaches sont également à seulement quelques minutes en voiture.
- Cinq terrains de golf publics sont à quelques minutes de la maison.
- Les restaurants, les magasins et les cinémas sont juste en bas de la rue à Mashpee Commons et sur la rue Main dans le centre-ville de Falmouth.
- Si vous aimez faire du vélo, la piste cyclable Shining Sea est à seulement 3,5 km et vous emmènera de North Falmouth à Wood's Hole. Location de vélos et parking à côté de la piste cyclable à proximité.

Great spot, clean house!

We had a great week, the house was cleaned and very well supplied. The location on the lake was a great spot as the kids could run out and go for a swim. Dick was communicative and responsive if we had any questions at all. Great spot for families!

Deep Pond Vacation

My husband and I together with our little dog so enjoyed our week's stay. The home is warm and inviting and very clean. Although the weather was not very cooperative we were still able to enjoy the kayaks provided for at least a few times on the beautiful pond. Dick was super easy to contact and always responsive. A wonderful and relaxing vacation!

Lovely Lakeside Retreat

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house! The house was so clean and the neighborhood was lovely. The lake was warm and my kids loved kayaking and swimming. Dick was very communicative and answered all of our questions. I would definitely recommend this property to all!!

Spectacular family accommodations!

Our family of 8 plus an infant had the best time at Deep Pond! It was well kept, clean, cozy, and the perfect arrangement for us all. The location on the pond allowed us to make use of the kayaks and serene area. It was within a ten minute drive to downtown Falmouth and Menauhant Beach where we spent a great deal of our time. Dick was an excellent host and we hope to plan another trip next year!

Enjoyable stay

The house lived up to our expectations: there was plenty of room and we found everything we needed. The lake was beautiful and our access from the house couldn’t have been better. It’s a lovely neighborhood with friendly people and we felt very comfortable there. Most importantly, 15 year old Goldendoodle especially loved the opportunity to swim every day!

Wonderful spot for a large group

We had a great week here. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. The sleeping accommodated our 3 generation family easily. There were also indoor activities (ping pong, games and puzzles) as well as kayaks, boats and a very swim able lake. We hope to return in the future.

Perfect get-away for the family

We loved staying at this property for a week in July 2018. There was something for everybody, from the well-appointed kitchen to the kayaks and lake right out the door. Ocean beaches and hiking trails are only a short drive away, and some of our party ventured on longer day-trips ranging from nearby Woods Hole to distant Provincetown. 5 star reviews from three generations! The owner always responded quickly during the booking process and for any questions.

Relaxing stay, very welcoming

There were 12 of us staying at Dick's, all family. It was a great, clean space that was comfortable for everyone. Easy drive to nice beaches and a wonderful, clean pond in the backyard to kayak, canoe, and unplug. It was so welcoming with a binder of resources, a note, and bottle of wine. We reserved the property a year in advance, and Dick was responsive to my questions and gave clear and easy instructions for check-in and check-out. Definitely recommend and hope to stay here again!

Deep Pond Family Vacation

This was a family vacation with all our children, spouses and 3 young grandkids. The place was very clean and big enough to accompany all of us with breathing room. It also had all the amenities we needed! The pond was amazing, lots of fishing, kayaking, canoeing and hanging out by the water. Nice quiet pond. Lots of paths for biking riding and Old Silver beach was beautiful. We all had an amazing time and we will be back!

Amazing house, beautiful lakefront

Our family had an amazing week at this house. The house is comfortable and has plenty of room to accommodate a group but you can also find a quiet corner to read. The kayaks and canoe made for hours of fun and we all loved the outside deck for coffee in the morning. Dick and Joan were great hosts. Very accommodating and communicative. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Perfect Family Friendly Retreat

Well-appointed, family-friendly house on peaceful and beautiful Deep Pond. 10-min drive to town/beaches. Children enjoyed swimming and paddling all day while the adults joined the fun or watched from the dock. Fenced in yard made it so easy to bring our four-legged friends with us! No detail left forgotten. Dick was a communicative and thoughtful host -- would highly recommend!

Wow! A wonderful spot and great owner

We loved our time at Dick's beautiful Deep Pond Retreat! Great location, comfy beds, well-appointed home, tons of space. The house was clean and had everything needed for pups and people alike. Although weather didn't allow for much in the way of recreation on it, the pond was beautiful amd peaceful,, and we found several great dog friendly hikes in the area. A rainy day spent in quaint Falmouth village and Mashpee Commons perfectly scratched our shopping itch. This property is tuly a gem and Dick is a gracious and accommodating host. I hope we can come back in warmer weather to enjoy this special retreat.

Loved it!

We loved our stay! The house was actually much bigger than expected. There were 9 of us, including 5 teenagers, and we were able to spread out and have some privacy! We LOVED the pond! We spent almost every day kayaking, canoeing and floating on the pond and visiting with the ducks. We also loved the outdoor shower after the long day on the pond! A very relaxing stay in which we had everything we needed. The house was also decorated with the owner's family pictures and his very own artwork. There is total pride in this property. We would love to stay again!

Second time staying at Deep Pond

This was our 2nd time renting Deep Pound House. As with the 1st time the place was very clean and had everything you would need to enjoy a week on the Cape. The setting is quiet, and the view of the lake is wonderful. The neighbors are very friendly and the house is in close driving proximity to markets, shops, and Falmouth Village. The fishing in Deep Pond is awesome. They also have kayaks renters can use. The owner is very responsive should you have any questions. If you're looking for a quiet, roomy, beautiful home for your family's vacation, I would definitely recommend this house.

Amazing Home

We absolutely loved our stay at this clean, spacious home situated on a lovely pond! Great for fishing, kayaking and swimming! The kids loved having access to play in the water anytime of the day! It was fantastic having our own little beach to unwind at after a long day at the beach (Old Silver Beach awesome), bike riding (Shining Sea Amazing ) a ferry ride to Martha’s Vineyard (delightful) and sightseeing in Woods Hole (Nobska Lighthouse outstanding) Coming home to such a clean, well appointed house after a day of adventures was just what my family needed! Lots of together time, cooking together, playing and relaxing! So much room! The best memories were created last week for our family!

WOW!! - Best Family Vacation EVER!

Lovely Quiet neighborhood w/pond in back and kayaks to use also! Convenient on the Cape to Old Silver Beach (great for small kids at low tide) -Kayaking on a quiet morning while the kids were still sleeping was great escape for the occasional parent - close enough to one end of cape or another to either go to great zoo or up to P town for a whale watch - there's even a small farm nearby to get fresh eggs and pick berries - Family meals to talk about days ventures were easy enough to coordinate - This home hit all the check marks and is comfortable and easy to cook evening meals in or grill out back. I would love to come back with a different bunch to check out some of the breweries, dining options and shopping next time - thanks for great memories!

Deep Pond Retreat

My family had a very nice time at this property. It is a beautiful house and even better location. Kids preferred swimming in the pond over Old Silver beach as the water was warm and clear. There was alot of successful fishing (catch and release) and kayaking. Close to walking trails and Coonemessett Farm. Plenty of room in the house. I enjoyed cleaning up the kitchen because it was so nice. Washer dryer was very handy. Dick is very responsive. I gave accuracy of listing 4 stars only because somewhere it said hot tub and there isnt one. I think its just a typo and we didnt really care. Everything else was exact. We noticed Deep pond isnt very deep and thought that was funny. Thanks for a great time Ernenwein Family!

Another Glorious Week “On Silver Pond”

This was our second time at Dick’s lovely vacation home. Once again, we had a wonderful time. We so enjoyed the mornings with sunrise over the pond and having a cup of coffee overlooking this serene view. Our family loved kayaking on the pond. The pond was quite warm and very easy to get into to swim. One of our dogs learned to swim in the pond during the week, which was fun to watch. Our granddaughter enjoyed wading into the pond and playing in the sand We had plenty of room to spread out in the home, which is so comfortable. One of our family members had to work during the week, and the lower level provided a perfect, quiet space for him. During the week, we spent many afternoons on the beautiful bike path. We are looking forward to returning again next year!

Wonderful home to stay at while in Falmouth

We rented Deep Pound Retreat for a family reunion this past week and it was fabulous. It is very clean and fully equipped with linens, dishes, towels, dishwasher, washer, and dryer. The layout of the house is lovely with nice sized comfortable bedrooms, along with an open living room, dining room and kitchen area. Its surroundings are very private and quiet. The basement is finished with a large screen TV and ping pong table. There is a screened in deck and an open one with direct views of Deep Pond. The sun rises are inspiring. The deck/dock area right on the water is spacious and the fishing is great. Kayaks are available for renters to use. Part of the back yard is fenced off which is wonderful if you bring your dog like we did. The family is quick to get back to you with any questions you may have. Also, all of the family photos and owner's paintings add to the home's charm. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience and we cannot wait to return to Deep Pond Retreat for our next family reunion.

Although our family resides in the beautiful Hudson Valley, New York; we love spending several weeks a year at our Cape Cod home on Deep Pond for family gatherings. We value our Falmouth home as a legacy for our children and grandchildren.

This home offers a unique combination of beach, pond and woods. We have a bit of Vermont as our house is surrounded by pine trees on Deep Pond, our Golden Pond; yet it is close to wonderful beaches, hiking, kayaking, restaurants, and shopping in the charming village of Falmouth. Falmouth, Woods Hole, Buzzards Bay and Nantucket Sound have all the special charm of Martha's Vineyard without the hassle of crowded roads, villages, beaches and the necessity of ferry reservations.

Our air-conditioned fully furnished house is very well kept up and immaculately clean with a lot of personal loving care.
Our house offers several gathering places for family and friends yet also provides places for privacy when preferred. We have an upper deck, a screened in sun porch, and a lower deck all facing and looking out on our pond. With three double beds in three upstairs bedrooms, four twin beds and four futons, the house can comfortably accommodate twelve people. Add an outdoor shower, a hammock, five kayaks, a row boat, a deck by the pond and private little beach and you have everything you need for a fun-filled relaxing vacation. Our deck by the waters edge, is ideal for early morning YOGA, or just a cup of coffee watching the sun rise,; and again during the evening sharing a glass of vino as the sun sets.
