Récemment rénové de 200 m2 (2100 pieds carrés) villa située dans 2500 m2 terrain avec plan ouvert rez de chaussée composé de salon / salle à manger, cuisine et salle de bains. 1er étage comprend 2 chambres à coucher, 2 autres chambres, salle de bains et une terrasse ensoleillée. Villa est située dans une réserve naturelle et un endroit très rural très bien situé pour se détendre et passer des vacances reposantes. Villa a une 12m x 6m 6. piscine et soleil surface de pont avec 350 m2. Jardins paysagers et 1000 m2 de pelouse naturelle. Le nombre maximum d'invités est 8. Cependant, si loué en conjonction avec notre référence de la propriété soeur 8400776 le nombre maximum d'invités peut être 14. Des tarifs supplémentaires seront applicables pour les invités supplémentaires.

The perfect place for a quiet, relaxing getaway

Vila Sol was exactly what we hoped for: a beautiful and spacious home to enjoy a quiet and relaxing vacation. For us, it was perfectly located far enough from Lisbon city center that we felt as though we were in an exclusive resort. We were able to easily get into town by car and uber whenever we wanted to enjoy the city attractions. Ian, our host, is by far one of the best we have met in our many years as VRBO members. Friendly, communicative, helpful and professional. This was our first time visiting the country, and plan to return many more times in the future. If Vila Sol is available for our next visit, we would absolutely book again.

Fantastic villa

Great villa with everything you could possibly need for a family holiday. Beaches and restaurants a 10 minute away. Owners are lovely and very knowledgeable about the area.

Family get together holiday

Spotlessly clean villa with comfortable beds and all functioning services. Perfect location for a great holiday for all ages (we have been returning ro Vila Amaro with 6 children for 17 years) and although we had mixed early September weather there is so much to do on both sides of the river Tagus

Beautiful house close to the beach and Lisbon

We were a group of 7 adults and had plenty of space to spread out and relax. A bit early in the season to swim, but enjoyed the pool area anyway. Nice amenities such as shuttle service and massages. Only drawback was noisy dogs and construction going on next door.

A little gem

Just back from our stay at this lovely well maintained villa. The grounds are beautiful and the pool area exceptional - it definitely surpassed expectations. Everything you need to make your stay comfortable is provided by Teresa and Ian. It was a lazy holiday for us just chilling and recharging our batteries, We didn't stray very far although enjoyed taking the ferry to Lisbon and a couple of days on the beach. Would strongly recommend Villa Sol to anyone who is looking for someplace to relax, although a car is a must.

An oasis for writing retreat

We had a wonderful stay. Ian was an attentive host and quick to reply. Upon arrival, he took us to the supermarket, since we had no car, to buy what we needed to have during our stay. I asked why there were no basics and he explained that to ensure hygiene he does not keep even basic spices. The beds were firm and the bathrooms (4 of them) were all equipped with showers and toilets. This was very convenient as we were 4 adults meeting for a writing retreat. Uber can readily pick you up, but dropping you off can be a challenge. Ian was accessible to give directions and from then on, we knew how to instruct drivers too. We would absolutely stay here again due to its seclusion. If you are staying here as a get away for Lisbon, be prepared for traffic on the bridge or to take a train or ferry across the water. For us the location was perfect and the host was very kind and helpful. Enjoy your stay!

Lisbonne à Noël

Très belle location récente, vaste et très bien entretenue, très confortable, à peu de distance des plages et de Lisbonne. Très bon accueil, nous n'avons pas rencontré le propriétaire mais celui, extrêmement sympathique est tout le temps disponible par message, pour le moindre soucis, dans les minutes qui suivent .....

Tolles Haus mit Pool

Wir haben in der Vila Sol 11 tolle Tage verbracht. Das Haus, der Garten und der Pool sind sehr schön und gepflegt. Die Kinder haben viel Zeit im Pool verbracht. Der Gastgeber Ian war sehr nett und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Abends haben wir mehrfach gegrillt und draußen gegessen. Von der Terrasse aus sieht man das Meer. Mit dem Auto sind es ca. 5 Minuten zum Strand wo es tolle Bars und Restaurants gibt. Wir werden bestimmt nächstes Jahr nochmal wiederkommen.

Such treasure in Portugal!

We had very nice and sunny 10 days of vacation - the owners are simply lovely. The villa has all you need for a perfect and truly relaxing stay! Well thought of, super clean, silent surrounding and a stunning view! Rent a car - to explore portugals beautiful variety! We come back!!

Wonderful villa with all the conveniences and hosts were exceptional

The Villa Sol is a wonderful villa in spectacular Caparica. The hosts Ian and Teresa were so friendly and full of knowledge on sightseeing and things to do. They are truly incredible hosts. The house had everything you needed for your stay and the store was only a 5 minute drive away. You really need a vehicle here if you plan to do a lot of sightseeing in Lisbon and the surrounding area. The beaches are spectacular and unfortunately the pool was too cool to really enjoy at the end of September. We were 3 couples from Canada and we had lots of room. The bedrooms are a nice size along with your own bathroom. The outside area is very big and lots of chairs to sit in or out of the sun. We had a very enjoyable stay and the weather was fantastic. Everyone is so friendly in Portugal and the prices are incredible for food, and especially wine and beer. We highly recommend this villa for families or couples.

Outstanding stay!!!!!

What a beautiful villa!!! Our family stayed here for one week and it had everything we could ask for. It was immaculate inside and out and the owners were on hand to answer any queries we may have had. I would recommend you hire a car, as the nearest shop is just a little too far to walk to in the heat, but local taxi's and uber drivers are on hand and are very reasonably priced. We will definitely be coming back..... Amazing!!!!!

Stunning Villa

We have just returned from having a 2week holiday at the Beautiful villa Sol. We was a party of 6 adults and 2 children, the villa was well laid out and we had more than enough space for our party. The grounds around the villa are stunning and there is plenty of room to lounge around and relax. the villa is well equipped and has everything you need. we ate out a few nights and found the restaurants in caprica very good and very reasonably priced. the rest of our stay we just stayed in the villa and made full use of the facilities including the large swimming pool and BBQ. The Villa is very modern and very well decorated throughout. The owners Ian and Teresa were very helpful and made us feel very welcome, Absolutely a lovely couple. We enjoyed our holiday so much we have booked to go back in 2018, We will definitely be recommending villa SOL to our friends and family. A car is necessary but all amenities are within easy reach from the Villa. Caprica beach is about a 5minute drive away, Supermarket is a 2minute drive and almada Forum / Shopping centre is easily reached within 8 minutes all with plenty of parking. It is also worth noting Ian and Teresa have another Villa next door to Vila Sol which we also viewed and found equally as nice. Thank you for lovely stay and we look forward to visiting villa sol again next year

Fantastisch huis!

Zeer mooie vakantiewoning voor 8 personen. Prima staat, goed onderhouden, alles proper! De buurt spreekt misschien niet zo direct aan...beetje verloederd, veldweggetje en dus zeker auto nodig. Zeer rustige locatie weg van het massatoerisme. Prima uitvalsbasis voor Lissabon/ Sintra/ Cascais... Via Cachillas in een mum van tijd met de boot in het centrum van de hoofdstad. De verhuurders zijn kortbij mocht je een probleem hebben. Huis staat in Capuchos, gehucht van Caparica. In Caparica zelf zijn er zeker voldoende restaurants. Ook het strand is amper 10 min met de auto verwijderd. Dit huis is zeker zijn geld waard!

Comfortable and enjoyable stay in a lovely villa

Lovely modern villa with fresh, bright decor. More than enough space for our party of 7 adults. We had beautiful weather all week, so enjoyed the private pool, outdoor eating area and living room area in the evenings. The location is great for day trips to Lisbon, Sintra and Costa da Caparica, but a rental car is definitely required. The owners Ian and Teresa made us feel very welcome upon arrival. This villa is highly recommended for families or a group of friends.

Impeccable and Comfortable Home in Sunny Portugal

We had a two week stay at Villa Sol in Sept / 2015. The villa is very accurately documented on this page and has everything ready to support your stay! Just arrive with your swim suit and toothbrush - what is not already within the villa is readily available at the nearby grocery store: Pingo Doce. The furnishings, appliances, pool and landscaping make it that you don't want to leave and visit the other things in the nearby surroundings, including the seaside and Lisbon! The villa is super clean and well maintained. The hostess & host owners are readily available to answer questions before you arrive and provide endless support and information during your stay. We had a problem with our luggage not arriving with us (it came later that day and the next) and the hostess-owner was very helpful in directing the airport staff how to get our things to us! I would recommend this property to those who want all the comforts of home while relaxing and exploring a most interesting part of Portugal. Everything is within easy reach by car - the beach, Lisbon and many attractions in and around Setubal province including shopping (Almada Forum or Outlet shopping), wine estates, golf, historic sites (Sintra and Evora are not to be missed) ... or Lisbon is about 30 minutes away, either over the bridge or via ferry. To demonstrate how high our recommendation is: we booked for two more weeks in 2016 before we had even left from this rental!! This is an ideal accommodation for two couples or two couples with children or a group of friends and family that want a 4-bedroom / 4-bathroom home away from home.

perfect holiday location

Our first impression of Villa Sol was perfect. The location, 25 minutes from the airport was easy to get to, we had received great directions from Ian and Teresa, and we found the location no problem. The villa was even more spacious than we had imagined and spotless. The pool area was really nice, a great sun trap and although the water was cold the pool itself was a great fun space in which we played volleyball, and just relaxed on inflatable loungers in the pool. Within 10 minutes of the villa by car we were on the beautiful Caparica beach - 20 miles of golden sand and the Atlantic gently breaking on its shore. We did surf lessons at Epic surf school which was fantastic. I can highly recommend Villa Sol, it was a perfect location for our family, 25 minutes from Lisbon and all the culture and history the capital city of Portugal delivers and 10 minutes from a lovely beach. We can't wait to come back.

I live and work in Portugal and we live very near to "Villa SOL" Ref P12289, "Villa Amaro" Ref P3867 and apartment Ref P7209. These properties were all restored and are part of our family homes. The owners are both English and Portuguese and that gives us a great insight into Portugal. We are always trying to improve our properties so any comments tenants make are discussed and usually acted upon.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The Property was fully restored in 2012. The villa is set in a rural and quiet location. In the Protected landscape fossil coast of Costa da Caparica. Dispite being in a quite location its not remoteness you quickly reach Lisbon and all the aminities you need. And thats what we love about the place good location without the fuss. Thats Why we live in this area for more than 50 years, and we pretend to continue.
