Wow, Jayne's place is just perfection. The view is stunning, it has everything you need, and the pool is wonderful, we miss it! It's in a great position for exploring, the beaches are close, as are some fab restaurants. Katie was on hand for tips and help if needed. Thank you for a truly fantastic stay xx
On arrival we were greeted by dog poo in the garden, right next to the entrance gate. This was accompanied by a distinct smell of sewage from the side of the house, which has unfortunately been a recurring problem.
The bath was dirty & had to be cleaned before use. The cutlery drawer was dirty, with a dark gritty substance in the base of the cutlery holder & the drawer. Some of the cutlery in the draw & crockery in the cupboards has been left dirty, the front of the fridge was dirty with drip marks down it.
We thought we would enjoy the sunset from the roof terrace, the table & chairs were covered in a thick layer of dirt & dirty cushions were scattered about. It was obvious that this area had not been cleaned prior to arrival. We don't come on holiday to do someone else's cleaning & dirty dishes.
The photos on VRBO are outdated & misleading, they don't show the new sofa, which looks uncomfortable and is.
From the 1st night the beds proved very uncomfortable, despite being assured by the host that they thought the beds were comfortable.
The most comfortable piece of furniture is the outside sofa & chairs. Again, not the furniture shown in the listing.
The Pool is overlooked from the road at the front of the property & on either side. There is traffic noise from the main coast road & construction traffic going to a nearby new development.
The Internet connection proved to be sporadic & towards the end of the holiday was very unstable, they did contact the ISP.
My wife and I booked this Villa for our 3 Week holiday. On arriving, we were greeted by an old broken Fridge stood directley outside the Frontdoor. This brought a frown to our faces :-/ not what we expected. The Villa itself, first impressions, it was reasonbly clean, although there was used Toiletpaper in the main bathroom bin still :-/ The Main bedroom unfortunatley stank of drains, and the bed base was broken. The kitchen was riddled with ants! Which we know can be a pain in Cypus. We informed the property manager, she reacted promptly came round 1st thing next day with drain cleaner and different kinds of Ant killer. She informed us the Fridge/Freezer was had been exchanged, and the old one was to be picked up. On our leaving 3weeks later, it was still stood there.
Unfortunatley the drain smell was constant in the main bedroom, so we slept from then on in the back bedroom in 2 single beds. The problem with the ants in the kitchen did improve quickly, so thank you! The pool was great, a good size and well kept. Outside furniture was plenty and in good condition. One thing I think needs to be mentioned, the pictures of the villa and its outsides do not show that there is a neighbouring villa directly on the left, and the smal wall between villas leaves no privacy whatsoever. lucky for us the next door villa was not in use at the time. The TV in the front room had plenty of channels, though it was way to small. We would not book this villa again.
The villa was extremely clean and very well appointed with everything needed to make our stay comfortable including a welcome pack on arrival. The views from the villa were stunning with sea and mountains both uninterrupted. The pool was lovely and warm with enough chairs and sun beds outside for everyone. We didnât cook on the barbecue but that was accessible and clean.
We didnât know what to expect with Northern Cyprus but we had perfection, very unspoilt countryside and amazing views together with the bonus of the turtle beaches and a night watch which was incredible. SPOT, for turtle conservation are in Alagadi and another time we would love to see the hatchlings but certainly an experience well worth the time on the beach.
Jayneâs, the property ownerâs communication was excellent, as was Alinaâs, the property manager for who nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant recommendation for Nima in Kyrenia was well worth visiting twice! A very special holiday for us as a family as our eldest son proposed to his girlfriend close to sunset on the Turtle Beach.
Lovely, clean and well maintained villa with a great pool & views
The villa is perfect for a relaxing holiday. Itâs very clean, well maintained and had everything we needed for a fantastic family holiday for three couples.
Arriving at midnight to a fridge with milk, cheese, wine, bread and fruit; plus tea and coffee, was a lovely touch. The water cooler was also appreciated and a refill was provided by the English property manager. She also had lots of helpful information on the area and restaurants.
The uninterrupted views of the mountains and sea, across the pool are stunning. The pool was kept clean and we had great fun using it. There is plenty of space to sunbathe around the edges.
The patio area was great for dining outdoors, with plenty of furniture. We dined outside whenever we were at the villa. We also made use of the built in BBQ just around the side.
The Owner was extremely helpful in arranging transfers to and from Larnaca and also sorting the car hire and promptly answered any questions we had prior to our holiday.
Would definitely stay here again.
Will never forget this holiday. We arrived in the early hours of the morning and to our relief we found the essential things in the fridge to see us through till we got to the shop. Milk, bread, cheese and wine. There was also a pot of coffee which was great. Then to wake up to that view in the morning was just the best. It was very hot the week we went so spent most of our time in the pool. The Villa was clean and tidy and had everything you could need for a great stay. Would really recommend a stay at the Villa, we will be hopefully returning.
The villa is in an excellent location and is clean and well equipped with everything that a family or couple requires including a water cooler which was a godsend. To the rear of the villa is the swimming pool which has great views over the local olive groves, mountains and Alaggadi beach.
The pool area is a perfect place to and relax and soak up the sun and the BBQ to the side of the villa was a useful addition.
From the villa you have easy access to local beaches and I would recommend the right hand beach at Alaggadi the sea water was so warm and the sandy beach is never busy.
The villa is the perfect location for exploring Northern Cyprus as the coastal road is not too far away and driving around the north is so simple this allows you to visit remote villages and beaches. It also allows you to travel into Southern Cyprus across the UN buffer zone.
Fruit and veg is so cheap from the local road side stalls and we did not have a bad meal from any of the restaurants we visited the average cost of a meze meal up to 11 starters before your main course along with drinks for 2 people was ÂŁ25 to ÂŁ40.
I would highly recommend the Jeep safari into the mountains run by Cyprus Active it was a brilliant day out.
I have traveled around the majority of the Mediterranean but never been to Northern Cyprus I can honestly say that this was the most relaxed holiday that I have had the villa is the perfect place to holiday for families and couples but I would recommend hiring a car.
Myself and my husband stayed here for 9 nights in October 2016. The pictures do not do it justice. It feels lovely and cosy when you walk in but spacious at the same time. We liked the corner couch vibe in the lounge and the views from the master bedroom and the pool were to die for. We have stayed in villas all over the world and the views here were right up there. It is well equipped and you have everything you need. It was clean, well thought out and there were some lovely little considerate touches they leave for you that we appreciated. The owner was very helpful as was the English property manager across the road.
In terms of the area the villa is set back a bit so a car is needed but that is the price you pay for those stunning views and nothing is more than a 5/10 minute drive. We ate out at some great restaurants. We didn't have one bad meal whilst on holiday. We particularly liked Bo Thai (5 minute drive)
My husband played golf at the Korineum golf club down the road and it was fabulous. Great course. Again, stunning views. Good food.
North Cyprus took us by surprise. We weren't sure what to expect really but it is lovely. So peaceful and the people are very friendly and the scenery in some places is unrivalled.
We definitely hope to return one day and when we do we would return to this villa definitely.
North Cyprus is still an unspoilt part of the Med and is easy to get to, despite international restrictions on air travel. In fact it is probably these largely ineffective restrictions that ensure the North retains its charm. The Villa was clean and very well appointed with everything you need. The broadband is fast so no problems with the modern day requirement for social media. The views are truly stunning, with no buildings in sight between the Villa patio, the sea and the mountains. There are excellent restaurants nearby and Kyrenia/Girne is only a short drive away. A truely excellent stay, thank you.
Absolutely perfectly maintained and equipped we ate at the villa in the evenings probably the same amount of times as we went out. I have already recommended the villa to lots and lots of friends. North Cyprus is so reasonably priced for everything.
The first visit I made to this villa was with 5 friends as a 50th birthday treat and it certainly was (Spa up the road at the golf club). All of us managed to unwind. relax and surrounded by the beautiful mountains and scenery it really was a no quibble/complaint holiday.
Having enjoyed it so much I will return in 2015 with my family which consists of a 9, 12 and 15 year old children. There is lots to explore around the north of the island and this time I will get up to the peninsular to see the wild donkeys. If you do go do not miss a boat trip with lunch from Kyrenia harbour, cost is approx ÂŁ14 per person and it is the most wonderful day out.
Over the years we have stayed at many villas and this one is our favourite.

Married middle age couple, use villa whenever possible for relaxing holidays.
The location is peaceful and with good access to beaches and mountains is required. We keep the villa very clean, and do not allow animals. Strictly no smoking inside. Bedding, towels and beach towels are supplied and in good condition. BBQ provided. Fully air-conditioned.
